They have a huge selection of incredibly unique finds, and the owners / people working here could not have been more lovely. She gave us a great deal on the fixture we fell in love with and even offered to let us try it out in our house before committing to the purchase. The owner and the old man employee is very rude and hostile. I had the most unpleasant experience with them. The old man driver is a bully who parked illegally and blocked other people's vehicle, when asked to move his vehicle, he refused. I will be contacting the management company and report his behavior. Pulled into the parking to check business hours for the place across from them. I backed into the parking spot for not even a minute of being there an older man comes out that I thought was a homeless and asked to lower my window I was expecting him to ask for money and he continues to say " you cannot park like that , you can't back in because the fumes from the car get inside the store, you either need to leave or park the other way " lol I just said okay cuz like I said I was just checking hours and left. But cmon on maybe your antique car pulls too much exhaust gases but my Honda doesn't!!! And I don't think there's a law that says which way you need to park!! And not to mention i was like pretty far from the door! Lmao!! Can't imagine going inside the store with this guy inside! Sounds like this place is relocating to N Lake Avenue, and perhaps by appointment only. I stopped by and a man was blocking the entrance. He then asked what I wanted. I thought this was a strange question, so I asked him what he was doing, and he said watching a couple of dying poinsettias. Since he asked, I then said I was looking for a fireplace screen to match my Batchelder fireplace. He said they didn't have any fireplace screens. I then mentioned there were several in the window. This store is phenomenal and massive. Their selection is unparalleled, and Marie, the owner, has an excellent eye. We are restoring a 1920's home and have found every single fixture (pendants, sconces, chandeliers, flush mounts, and outdoor lights) here. Given that they sell antiques or custom-made wrought iron pieces, their prices are excellent. Also, they don't just sell lighting. We bought a torchiere from the early 1920's that was perfectly restored, a real beauty at a very reasonable price. I love the style and selection of their pieces. Most of the style that I see from other places comes very huge in size if not palatial. Revival Antiques has a lot of pieces that will fit in my spaced-challenged condo. I was also surprised to see that they have crackers, dips, bagels, cheese and fruits. It was a nice touch. I would highly recommend Revival Antiques. They have a beautiful selection of unusual antiques and lighting and their customer service is very friendly and helpful. I ordered three custom wrought iron light fixtures and was told the lead time would be 4 to 6 weeks. To my delight Marie, the person I had been working with, gave me a call after 3 weeks and said they were ready for pickup. I held my breath as I drove to Pasadena to pick them up. After 15 years in the design industry I am very aware of how custom items can not look as expected. I was thrilled when I saw them! They looked not only as good as I had hoped but even better! Somehow they managed to make them look as if they had a slight patina and yet were brand new. They are perfect for our 1934 Spanish Colonial revival house.
