Homage carries a lot of work by independent artists and artisans, including fine jewelry and ceramics. The last time I was here was with an out of town friend who was really tempted to buy a handmade pair of gloves. She ended up not getting them and called me regretting her decision. So, this place is great for worn accessories (scarves, jewelry, gloves...etc.) and beautiful housewares. The prices are maybe a bit high, but the quality of the goods is pretty high. So, while I much more rarely buy from Homage than Retreat or Gold Bug, I would still recommend a look around.

I wasn't planning to buy anytime soon, I was just test driving. Welp! My friend's testimonials weren't fake, it took me a quick 10 seconds to determine that the COSM was the one! Dakin was not around the following day I placed the order so Marcos handled it for me. I literally have nothing to say except my experience in that shop and the exchanges via email/phone was extremely pleasant. Zero complaints except the imitation Purell they offered their customers that weekend. Maybe they wanted to maintain their customers perception of the store but they tricked us with their tequila smelling sanitizer which I thought was hilarious because we had an authentic bottle in our car. The man who picked up the phone in the West Hollywood location was rude and cocky. I actually ended up spending the rest of the day in that area and we were potentially going to purchase it from there because it was closer but decided to give the business to Pasadena, thanks to Dakin. Weeks later, the chair was delivered although I was promised I would get it within 5 business days.. but totally worth the wait. On top of that, my neighbor ended up buying one as well based on her experience with mine and Dakin took good care of her too. We're overworked old ladies with back problems and can't thank Dakin enough for taking such stellar care of us in such dire times. I came into Pottery Barn the other day to complete a return for two pillows I had ordered online…read moredesigned for side sleeping. When they arrived at my home, I realized that there were no compatible pillow cases made for the specific pillow (Naturepedic Organic Side Sleeper Pillow)--neither on the Pottery Barn website nor through Naturepedic themselves. Since the design of the pillows are very specific, trying to use standard pillowcases altered their shape and defeated the purpose of the pillows. I brought one pillow in unopened and the other in large garbage bag after attempting (unsuccessfully) to fit different covers on it. Before coming inside the store, I had spoken to the general customer service number and was told that online returns are handled at the store's discretion so I was unsure if the item would accepted by the store. When I arrived, Assistant Manager Ms. Yvonne Miller was the only one working the floor and was on the phone, but she kindly asked the caller to hold so she could assist me. I explained the situation, and she was very understanding and acknowledged why I wouldn't want to keep the pillows without proper pillowcases. She even noted the issue to report back and took my contact info down in case she came across something compatible which I greatly appreciated. Yvonne was incredibly kind and professional throughout the entire process and ultimately honored the return. The store itself is also very beautifully designed and I would return in the future.
