Wow best crab rangoon I've ever had in my life, and that includes Asian restaurants all over IL and IN. Egg rolls are amazing, food is fresh, hot & cheap. Clean eating the most delicious way humanly possible. They don't skimp on the meat; this is food like you'd make in your kitchen, for you & your friends to scarf down. Almost all the ingredients, including the complex sauces are made in house. They employ a lot of people, so hopefully at some point each day, they get turn away business. My Lee started her business in the late 80's and there's a reason why she's still in business --- one of the most tastiest eggrolls ever!! When you go in, there's a wall with a 4'X4' window that you place your order. They offer pork, chicken and veggie egg rolls along with chicken fried rice, spring rolls and a number of traditional east Asian desserts. For ready made food, the wait is a bit excessive and maybe it was an off day. I remember calling ahead one day because I was buying a dozen before heading to the airport. My Lee said that she had them, 7 mins later when I arrived, she said she only had 8 and that it would be another 15 mins for the others. :/ I was quite disappointed. Best egg rolls you will ever have. Anywhere. Period. The chicken fried rice has pieces of chicken that you can actually see and taste. Oh, and they are quite delicious indeed! Mylee's is located in what used to be, I believed, an old Battery Mart building. We were greeted immediately. A group of smiling ladies said, "Nyob Zoo" (Hmong for "Hello") as we walked in. They continued to chat while my husband and I reviewed their menu. It looked like they were eating their lunch with one of the owners. We had to speak louder to each other because they were speaking loudly. I took off a star for that. It's a place of business, I just wished they had a back room for that. The menu was simple. Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, Longcheng Bread, Tapioca Dessert, Crab Rangoons, and the Rice Platters. An older, smiling man standing behind the counter took our order. It was ready in a very timely manner; less than 10 minutes tops. The fried rice was solid although it needed a pinch of salt, I'd definitely order it again. I dislike the carrot string that they tucked in the spring rolls but I took it out as it seemed more garnish. The sauce that came with it was a sweet and sour concoction and I definitely preferred a peanut hoison option. I ate it without complaint. The star of the show is definitely the egg roll. Hmong egg rolls are plain; limited meat, cabbage, onion, with tons of mung bean thread. I've made all types of egg rolls in my day but Mylee's tastes like my Mom's. It definitely brought me back to my childhood. My taste bud has changed over the years but the taste of homemade egg rolls is something I want more of. I just wished they fried it fresh and not let it sit in a warming table. For a cheap eat and friendly service, this is the way to go. I went to visit a friend who mentioned this place to me. It was still towards the end of covid season so there wasn't a lot of things out or an area to eat. From the outside it doesn't look like much. You can still see the batteries plus letters where they faded the facade. Once inside you will most likely meet MyLee herself behind the counter. They have a reach in cooler with drinks. They sell sweet rolls which are like jelly donuts that are baked in lieu of fried out of a cooler as well. They have three tables and can barely sit a dozen people. You order from a window set in the back wall which gives a view of the kitchen. The highlight is the egg rolls. They are amazing. Two are very large and completely fill me. They sell pork, chicken or vegetable. Pork is my favorite but all are excellent. The sweet and sour sauce is a medium spicy. It completes the rolls perfectly. I generally get a dozen for $15. These are a legendary local food. If you get to Appleton stop here. Even if you are not a big egg roll fan, these are different. The outer shell is crispy but not greasy. The filling is chewy with cabbage and a generous amount of meat. They even reheat well the next day. read more

I love this place! Whenever I want a quick meal for cheap, this is my go-to place. Everybody needs more crab rangoons in their life and this is the place to go to get them for only 50¢ a piece! I'm typically here between 1-4pm and so far, they've never been out of something I was hoping to purchase. The staff is very friendly and kind. I will say if you go during lunch or dinner that you should expect a wait, but that is to be expected- the bright side is you know the food will be coming out hot. I want to start out by stating that I absolutely LOVE their food! It is delicious. The crab rangoons are the best I've ever had and the egg rolls are flavorful and so crispy. Their sauce is also sooo good and I would buy a bottle of it if I could. I cannot give a 5 star review though as every time I order from them on the eat street app my food is always very late. I have never received an order on time and many times it will come an hour or more after it was anticipated to arrive. It is not an issue of the driver as I can track that they are still "preparing" my order for 1-2 hours at times and the food is hot when it does eventually get to me. I'm sure they are busy, and glad that they are! I just wish my orders could arrive on time. Doesn't stop me from ordering though, that's how good it is! read more

I really do like it here, it makes for a nice midday snack or a light meal if you are having a late dinner. The staff is very nice and polite! The food is alright, we just get the egg rolls and crab rangoon. I tried one of their dessert breads, it had the sweetness of a King's Hawaiian roll and it was filled with coconut. They do not offer shrimp eggrolls, which is fine, except the chicken and pork eggrolls that are available are slightly bland. We tried the chicken fried rice and it was terribly gluey, almost stale.
