But the hidden treasure is in the back, the chef recommended the deluxe barn mi, I also had the house sausage with the hot sauce. They have sweet as well, but I'm hooked-- my whole face started sweating and every bite was delicious! The Bahn Mi was on point and I might get the deluxe and one with just brisket next time. I will not skip the stuffed wing either.

The steamed bun with korean beef was super simple, clean, and beautiful. I got too much food so had to reheat a few days later, with a moist paper towl on top, the bun came back to life! the bahn mi shines. If you're like me and believe "there can never be enough cilantro" yes yes yes. I love the abundant veggies. And for me--what makes a difference between a real bahn mi and a total faker--the bread. And they delivered on a great bread with chewy crust and soft insides. Everything felt super fresh. My friend and I were divided on the stuffed chicken wings. I felt they were a little small and overcooked. He loved them and said they were the most flavorful ones he's ever had. It does take a while to get your food (10-15 mins) while you're waiting around in the store. But it seems like a lot of things are made fresh to order by the sole chef and the quality is much better than a sandwich that has been sitting around all day. Can't wait to come again to this gem!

We were told this was the best sushi the person who reffered us had ever eaten. Challenge accepeted! We both agreed it was excellent sushi and I have been back every time I have been in Appleton since, except when they were closed due to Covid. This time I was there with a different co worker. We decided to order Tuna Tartare and 3 rolls. We had the popper roll, dragon roll and another that I cannot remember the name of. Each was different but equally good. We also had a salad, your typical japanese salad with ginger dressing. The dressing was better than most. The rolls are huge, I don't know how someone without a big mouth can eat a piece. 3 rolls and the tartare was more than enough for the 2 of us. I have to say that this is in fact the best sushi I have eaten throughout the U.S.

And it was very inconsistent... going from little salmon to almost none existent (see picture). I brought it up to our sever and they said that's normal for them (!!!). That's definitely not worth $11 per roll. After that they avoided our table for the rest of the meal. So if you're looking for sushi, go somewhere else ... maybe akame.
