Food - lettuce wraps are always a 100% go to and soooo amazing. Teriyaki chicken was good. It does have chucks of pineapple in it so if you don't like warm pineapple don't order this. Pork dumplings- very good would order again. Fried rice was so-so. Service - very poor, my bf waited 15-20 min to get his drink. Has to ask the waitress 2x for it. The appetizer came with sauces that were absolutely terrible. Spring rolls are not supposed to be fried but steamed. The restaurant was the service was extremely poor, not to blame the server. Not only did our server wait on our table, but she was always unavailable to come back and check on us because the restaurant had her working at the bar as well. Out of the four entrées that we our were very good and extremely poor to the point of one being so full of red pepper flakes. I have dined at Chang's many times and although I've never seen it as anything but average Asian fair, my girlfriend loves the honey chicken and insists we keep returning. Last night we brought the girls as well. Our experience 23 July 2025 at the Appleton restaurant was horrible and I personally will never return. All three orders of the honey chicken were spicy rather than sweet and my Korean chicken was dry and overcooked. Our waiter although being employed there for a month was so poorly trained he was unable to get our orders straight on the first try and had to be reminded to bring the salads and appetizers before the meal. As always it was way overpriced partly due to wages I know, but 10 folks could have eaten at an Asian buffet for what the four of us paid. Dishes came out cold. Service was okay. Bit of an awkward interaction with server. Clean area. Tables were somewhat socially distant and all servers were wearing masks. They did require customers to wear masks to the table, can take off after that but no enforcement when they go to the bathroom and back. We got several small dishes to share, as mentioned above, all came out cold to warm, none seemed to be freshly made. Quite disappointed in this aspect. Flavors were okay, very much a Americanized version of Asian foods. Price is very much more than it should be for the portion and tastes. Plenty of parking. It seems the reviews for poor service have not been needed by the management here. After a good start with a drink, soup, and appetizer, my entree took over 30 min to arrive. And when it did, a key ingredient in the Buddha Tofu dish was missing: No tofu. And the dish of now just vegetables was luke warm. The manager's solution was to have the kitchen make up a batch of the tofu as a side dish. To her credit, she did take the dish off my bill. Atmosphere: Ample parking lot that is private. Tons of seating and a nice bar area inside. It is very dimly lit in here. Service: Kia/Kie? (I'm horrendous with names) was our server and she was absolutely amazing. Our water glasses were always full, she was fast, friendly and was great at answering all my questions since it was my first time at a PF Changs. I also want to point out that the general manager and the hostess were extremely friendly and a pleasure. Food: I was really happy with my meal. I ordered the hot and sour soup which had great flavor and texture and was served piping hot. I also had the vegetable lettuce wraps and they gave plenty of lettuce and serve these with two sauces. First time ever at Appleton Wi. location and it will be our last!! Extremely poor customer service. We were there at a 4:30pm before dinner rush . We sat at our table for over 15 minutes with NO server or any acknowledgment. I had to go back to hostess to remind them we are still waiting for service as a few stood chatting, Not one apologize for our wait. Another five minutes went by before we had a server acknowledge us. Took another 10 minutes for appetizer- lettuce wrap was subpar, had better. Prior to this experience I would have recommended my friend and family, but no longer. So sad they don't value their customers or customer service. Very disappointing experience! This was my first time at a PFC. it will be my last time. Food was terrible. Went for my sisters birthday and it was just bad. It definitely did not live up to the hype. I don't know what people are really raving for. First off the rice was hard. It was as if it did not cook throughly because it did not have enough water. Maybe it was old? The fried rice was just as bad. I ordered the broccoli and beef and it was not tender. The edges were crispy and almost as if it was almost forgotten while cooking. The sauce was really sweet. Not a fan. Panda Express would have probably been a better option than overpriced undercooked fried rice or the the $20 beef broccoli that was far from authentic or tender. Here is my review that I had posted earlier. Yelp decided that it was not recommended: The family was looking for some takeout. Asian cuisine seemed to be the one food that we were all able to agree on. We were a little burned out on the basic Chinese places so we thought we would give this a try. Entered our order online, which was painless experience. Fast-forward the 45 minutes that it was going to take us to get there and the food was getting bagged as I walked through the door. I took a quick look in the bags to make sure that at least the count of dishes was correct and it was so I took it and left. Got it home and everything was I would have expected/hoped it would be. The food was still warm after a 15 minute drive home, the dishes were all as expected. All the apps were correct, the pad thai was delicious. Sunday night at 6p with a reservation for two. We had been anticipating the visit for a couple months, having heard good things. We were seated quickly at a small table. The restaurant had plenty of tables available at that time and I was a bit disappointed that our table was less than a foot away from a curious toddler. The menu was easy to follow - pictures and descriptions helped too with ordering. We had two drinks and shared a main dish, Salt & Pepper Prawns, a bowl of Hot and Sour Soup, and a side dish, Cauliflower Tempura. The drinks were good but the dishes were quite disappointing. Our tempura dish was soggy and the prawn were battered and deep fried rather than the traditional crispy-shell preparation for that dish. The description for the prawn dish indicated "chopped black beans" as one of the ingredients, which turned out to be a few fermented black beans. They improved the flavor in some ways, but the dish lacked depth. It was also puzzling when I logged the dish on My Fitness Pal, it said that one order from P.F. Chang's should have 12 prawns, but we only got 10. Disappointed but somewhat expected as it's a chain restaurant. Will not go back again, sadly to say. read more

The food was awesome. We got two appetizers the dynamite shrimp and the lobster sushi roll. The shrimp was crunchy and delivered the right spice. The sushi was fresh and a decent size too. I had the honey shrimp, the shrimp with lobster sauce shrimp, the spicy chicken, and the beef spicy. All the dishes were awesome and came with a choice of white or brown rice. Do not order takeout from this restaurant unless you want to have items forgotten thus your dinner ruined. Have been eating at P.F. Chang's for years all over the country. It is one of my family's favorite restaurants. Tonight after a long day we decided to treat ourselves & ordered delivery to the hospital. Most restaurants take an automatic 10% off for healthcare workers during the pandemic, not P.F. Chang's. Our food was delivered by door dash, they followed our instructions perfectly. Unfortunately, the food was cold and they forgot the rice that comes with the entree, although we paid $3 extra for fried rice. In hopes of eating a complete meal I called right away to have it corrected. Abby answered the phone, before I could finish telling her the problem she hung up the phone while I was mid sentence.
