First time visiting as we've just moved to Wisconsin. Hubby had bbq chicken mac and cheese and I had the Japanese pan noodles with steak. He likes his noodles a little more done but the flavor was spot on, especially with the fried jalapeños on top for crunch...yum! Mine was a little dry and I had to add two packets of soy sauce. The flavor was just okay. Nothing bad but just not outstanding. Staff was courteous and restaurant was very clean. Not sure if we'll return as we've seen other noodle places. read more

Cashier gave me my change back in quarters and was totally rude after laughing about it with her coworker.

I have not been to noodles in approximately 10 years since I graduated college, simply due to accessibility. We finally got one in town and went tonight .... severly disappointed in several things, but two main 1) the lack of concern for sustainability. Everything was in disposable, kids sides were in separate disposable containers. A surprising back slide from their previous plates in todays climate. 2) portions: a) i got a small and my partner got a large and we could not tell the difference b) a large was not nearly enough to fill him, much less my small. For prices having gone up significantly you wohld think it would still at least fill you up, or have some left overs like we used to be able to. long hair in my food really grossed me out i thought it was small at first and grabbed it and pulled it out and was actually long which almost made it worse. staff members were very nice when i was ordering though. wish i opened the container and looked at it before i left because i was doing carry out. read more

Go back to pre-pandemic sized potions in real dishes. what a disappointment on your portion size. I left your restaurant still hungry after ordering the large size dish which barely covered the bottom of the plastic bowl. This reflects very poorly on the noodles and company I used to love and frequent weekly. Go back to using real dishes (save the planet) and the decent sized portions you used to have. myself and many others do not eat here because of the portion sizes. Update Sept 2017: the bowls are full again! The shrimp are a nice size. Really solid improvements! Way to bounce back Appleton Noodles. This is ridiculous !!! Since when does a regular order of noodles barely fill 1/3 of the bowl! I just remembered why I usually tell my kids "no" when they ask to come here. Buttered noodles cost $1 and they don't do anything special! I don't know why we try this... hoping something might change. read more

This place use to be one of our faves, not any more. We feel the owner changed vendors after covid, because the food does not taste the same. The staff is very helpful and friendly but the the food is very generic tasting, not flavorful but just tastes cheap like you've opened a store bought frozen dinner. We expected MORE from the Noodles and Co chain - especially for the price! We have tried both Appleton locations several times in the past 2 months and they have been repeatedly horrible and uneatable. We have basically thrown it in the garbage and gone on to other restaurants. It was that bad! No more! We dont want to spend our hard earned money on TV dinners! read more

I wanted something healthy from the really poor eating habits i've been having in wisconsin, so i somehow i came upon noodles and co from yahoo/google search. i ordered the udon noodles and it was pretty good for fast food and for it to be healthy. not sure if i would go out of my way to eat here again - it kinda reminds me of wagamama, but healthier and not as flavorful as wagamama b/c wagamama is probably worse for your health. for some reason they had cookies, and so i bought a big sugar cookie and had it for dessert. very good. kudos for cookies. read more

She is also gluten intolerant like myself and took the time to explain the menu & options. She was kind and considerate and soft spoken she did not rush me through the menu ... i could tell she really cared as a wonderful customer service/ front line position. kudos to Allison and thank you so much! This place is no different from any of the other Noodles and Co. locations where I have been. I knew exactly what to expect on the menu when I first walked in (a pretty decent and varied selection of noodle dishes), and I was not disappointed. The quality of the noodles is good given the price and the staff has only been helpful and efficient. I try to avoid ordering the buttered noodles with parmesan and seasoning and the Wisconsin mac and cheese because these dishes are pretty easy to recreate on my own. I have really enjoyed the penne rosa, which I tried for the first time at this particular location. Just the right amount of spice and flavor! This place is great to stop in for a quick, very affordable lunch. If you are health conscious (like we all should be!), there are some excellent meal options that are not high in fat and sodium. P.S. I'm dying to try the truffle mac. I'll definitely order that next time! read more

Love it love it love it! Noodles and co is one of my favorites anywhere. No matter where I go, they are consistent. My favorite meal is the pasta fresca with parmesan cheese. Today was just for a snack, so I ordered a small. It was awesome! This store has the new coke machine where you can mix cherry or other flavors with other coke co. sodas. It was pretty neat. I had read about them, but had never seen one. Food came quickly and perfect. Other people around us said it was quick, too. I will be back! read more

Honestly this was the worst place I've ever eaten. We got the Mac N cheese and the pad Thai. First of all with the Mac n cheese only half the bowl was full and the sauce was super watery. There was no flavor and it was all around a waste of money. Next the pad Thai cafe out and it looked pretty good....then I tried to take a bite and the noodles were COMPLETELY raw!! I mean this is a noodle place! The least they can do is cook the noodles right!!! So I told them and they kindly made another bowl for me...but the noodles were still undercooked.
