Let me be upfront: Plia's Kitchen is on our must-visit list every single time we're in Green Bay. Not "if we have time." Not "maybe we'll swing by." It's locked in. Non-negotiable. The moment we hit town, this is one of our first stops. Family owned and operated since 2014, serving fresh, authentic Southeast Asian cuisine -- and you feel that family spirit the moment you walk through the door. The Food Every. Single. Time. No disappointments. Ever. Stuffed Chicken Wings -- THE BEST IN TOWN. Full stop. Hot, fresh, and unlike anything else-- this alone is worth the trip. Order extra. You will not regret it. Hmong Egg Rolls -- always delicious, crispy perfection Thai Tea If you're passing through Green Bay -- or even just in the state -- make the detour. And whatever else you order, start with the stuffed chicken wings. Best in town, and it's not even close. This is the kind of place that reminds you why supporting small, family-owned restaurants matters. We'll keep coming back. And we'll keep bringing Chicago-sized takeout orders home with us. read more

This is the best Asian restaurant in Green Bay. The depth of flavor and attention to authentic Hmong and Thai food is amazing. I ordered spicy green curry with curry on a cold day and that's what I got. It's not too spicy but it will get you if you are an amateur. The location seats about 20 but that adds to the experience if you eat in. Great service. The cashier was running food to patrons and worked her butt off! It's just better than I other places. You can learn a lot about Asian cuisine from eating at Plias! read more

4.5 Worth the money, time, and taste great. Highly recommend. First time visit with family of four. Service at register and table was kind, patient and polite. Dining and visually exposed areas very clean (Asian Food restaurants usually have bad reputation in this aspect - don't deny)....this place....very clean. Prices very acceptable for large portion size...Family left full or bought home leftovers. High volume of people walking in for carry out which is also great sign for quality and value. Multiple spices at tables (tables very limited-so large parties be aware----chili powder is hooooot so use sparingly). Fried Rice, Ginger Beef, spring and egg rolls, and Pad Tai noodles were excellent. Again...Recommend highly. read more

Food was fantastic. Service was excellent. I will definitely return for the Pho which was delicious. My only constructive criticism is the lack of ambiance. The dining area is a little cafeteria-like and needs more personality. read more

Was in the area for work and craving some Thai food. After looking at the menu and reading the reviews, decided to give Plia's a try. Considering where I am originally from and that Green Bay is a smaller town comparatively with regards to the selection of Asian cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised. On my first visit, I got the Drunken Noodles. I asked for it to be spice and was asked to choose between 1-5. I choose 4. Almost did 5 as restaurants that serve Thai food in smaller communities, the spice level tends to me on the milder side. I also got a Thai Iced Tea. The pleasant surprise came when the level 4 heat was actually very spicy and the tea paired perfectly with the spice. I also appreciated that instead of the regular thick rice noodles, they used the ones that were more like small rectangular sheets. On my second visit, I decided to try the pad kra pow. Unfortunately, this dish was not as great at the Drunken Noodles. There was too much liquid in the bottom of the dish. Also the didn't quite taste like most gra pow that I've had. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely go back and get the Drunken Noodles again. read more

This place is great! You order at the counter and they bring out your food. Lots of spices on the table to spice up the dishes. We had drunken noodles, potato curry and spring rolls. Absolutely delicious! read more

I've lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for 15 years, and every time I drive down to Chicago, I make sure to stop at Plia's Kitchen because it never disappoints. Their pho has been consistently excellent over the years, with a rich, flavorful broth and fresh, high-quality ingredients. I've also enjoyed their tri-color tapioca drink and Thai coffee, both of which are consistently well-made and delicious. On my most recent visit, I decided to try the Pad See Ew. The flavor was very good, and although the rice noodles were thinner than the traditional wide ones used in Thailand, the dish had a satisfying wok-hot aroma that brought out the stir-fry's depth. You order and pay at the counter first, and the food usually arrives within 5 to 10 minutes. The service is always friendly and efficient. The vibe is also really nice, i.e., clean, simple, and relaxed, which makes the whole dining experience feel comfortable and welcoming. Plia's Kitchen remains one of my favorite stops whenever I'm heading to or from Chicago. read more

Sausage and rice was great, have to have chili sauce. I enjoyed the service, The location is great for to go.

Love the pad Thai, we always go here for take out and it doesn't disappoint. Rangoons are great too!

best pho in greenbay! amazing everytime i've gone and the best crab rangoons i've ever had!!

We stopped at Plias Kitchen for dinner tonight because we are down in the Green Bay area making a pick up at Menards. And within 30 minutes we got a phone call saying our food was ready. We ordered one Platter of chicken pad Thai And another platter with chicken drunken noodles. Because we love spicy Thai food, we requested it to be extra hot and they sure delivered on our request! The food was excellent and the drunken noodles appear to have been handmade noodles which was even better. There is an awesome assortment of Thai condiments at each table. The food was excellent Li prepared to order and I wouldn't change anything about the ingredients or preparation it was perfect. The food was excellent Li prepared to order and I wouldn't change anything about the ingredients or preparation, it was perfect! All in all it was a positive experience and the only reason I'm not giving them a perfect 5 stars is because of the long wait time and the very cramped dining area. With food like that and customers waiting to order and patronize the restaurant, I would hope that there's a planned expansion in their near future. We will be back! read more

This tiny dine-in/takeout place has the best, most authentic, and freshest Thai cuisine in Green Bay... Excellent service too!

First the food was AMAZING!!!, the quality the taste how it looked the texture. Everything was . staff was very friendly. Menu had many good and variety of choices, place was clean. Assortment of condiments on the table fabulous you don't see this in many restaurants . You will not believe the portion sizes, one portion enough for two. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to the Green Bay area. read more

I drive out of my way for this place often thanks to a friend who introduced me to it. I have not had a bad meal yet - everything from stuffed chicken wings to egg rolls, spring rolls, pho, curries - so yummy! Service is always decent too - I have eaten in and taken out too. This place is always busy no matter what time of day. I love that they open at 10 am but wish they were open on Sundays. read more

By far the best place for Southeast Asian food in Green Bay. We have yet to have a bad meal here, and have tried just about everything on the menu. Can't go wrong with the staples, but it's worth giving some of the less common items a try too. Staff is always friendly. It's a bummer that they're closed on the weekends--we'd have it a lot more if they were open! read more

Plia's Kitchen is a very small place. I mean, REALLY SMALL! There are 4 tables for 4 and 2 tables for 2. However, what the place lacks in space, makes up for it in taste. The pho is absolutely phenomenal. The stuffed chicken wings--extraordinary. Each table has a selection of different pastes, sauces, and spices to add to your pho or other entree to appeal to your preference of spicy or saltiness. Good stuff. You'll need to arrive a little early if planning for lunch, so plan ahead. Once you're seated, I have a fair amount of confidence that you won't be disappointed in the quality of your dish. read more

This place is a hidden gem of Green Bay! Their kapoon and larb are so great- if you like authentic Hmong or Thai style food then this place is definitely the best. We've tried a ton of places in Green Bay similar to this location but we always find ourselves craving something wholesome from Plia's!! With covid-19 stuff going on, you have to order ahead of time and pick up (no dine-in), but it's worth it to have a deliciously authentic meal at home. So good read more

Very flavorful food with good portions. Drunken noodles were amazing, perfectly cooked and flavored. I love that they put the extra sauces on the table so you can adjust flavors if needed. The guy behind the counter is very friendly. Ambiance is nothing to write home about. I wish it had more of a restaurant feel to it (no bar, no drinks, uncomfortable seating), but the food is great. Will definitely eat again, just will take it to go. read more

I agree with a previous poster having to limit the visits! Good thing I don't live any closer. The regular tofu red curry is my absolute favorite and have to order it at least twice a month. I look forward to the dining room being open again so I can try all the condiments on the table. Like others have said... great fresh ingredients, you know it's good because they are always busy, very friendly staff take the time to answer questions and get your food out as fast as the kitchen can. I hope they will be returning to the Saturday summer farmers market in 2021. read more

This place is ALWAYS busy, so don't expect a table right away.. at ANY time of the day it's going to be a wait & they never answer their phone but damn they know good food. Always worth the wait and the wait is NEVER to long! They are still very good about fast service and very accommodating! Try EVERYTHING. Seriously, everything is good. The pho, the curry, the basil fried rice, the vermicelli noodles. Get. It. All. You might want to phone a few friends for this place. read more

Swung by to grab some to go drunken noodles to take back to hotel. Went with veggies instead of a meat and they upcharged me for that, not sure how that math works. The interaction at the point of order makes it seem they they were doing me a favor when they took my money. The overpriced veggies were cooked within an inch of their life, nothing like expensive, soggy broccoli. I ordered the meal extra spicy and the food had zero heat. I will say that at least it wasn't overly oil laden like many places but I will definitely not return to this place, better options available. read more

It was goooooood. Little Asian restaurant in a small country town, but they keep the authentic style on meal. I'm an Asian and a food critic who from San Diego and Japan and I don't give too many 5 stars to restaurants but this place was good. I had pho and my husband had basil beef. Big quantities but I could eat it because it was so good. read more

I don't think I can eat an egg roll from anywhere else ever again, lol! They are deep fried to perfection and filled with so much flavor and fresh ingredients! The crabmeat Rangoon's are also deep fried to perfection, probably some of the best I've ever had! I also ordered phō to go and they packed it up super nice with all of the ingredients! Pad Thai is AMAZING. I was super worried that I wasn't going to find a great pad Thai dish in Green Bay but I am so glad I was proven wrong. If you really want a kick then order it spicy. We also tried the crab Rangoon appetizers last time we went and they were perfectly fried with a wonderful dipping sauce. Prices are very reasonable as well , I can walk away with two dishes a bunch of appetizers and a small tip for under $30. 12/10 we will be back to support . Thanks ! read more

Not a big fan of any of the food. Went there to try the egg rolls that came highly recommended and they were greasy and poor flavor.

Such a pleasant surprise in green bay! Menu prices were reasonable with heaping portions . I ordered a #7 and it was the best pad Thai I've ever had! The only reason for the 4 star is because my husband didn't have the same experience. He ordered the deluxe #2 pho and the broth was lacking flavor big time. It was doused in cilantro and tasted of pure cilantro water. The portion was phenomenal but flavor was definitely lacking. read more

Oh. My. Gosh. This place is fantastic! I came with my son and had to bring my hubby back 3 days later. The squash curry. The ginger beef. The stuffed chicken wings!!! We will be back often. read more

It was ok. Nothing special about the pho. Just like any other middle of the road option.

What an amazing little hideaway. I quickly looked on Yelp for Thai food and this place was recommended. The shop is on the smaller side (only 7 sit down tables) but they do take away. Fortunately I came at a quiet time and was able to get a seat immediately. I ordered some stuffed chicken wings to start and I have to say the exceeded my expectations. The main portion is deboned and stuffed with Asian vegetables and it is barbecued to perfection. For mains, I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and spicy. Having had this in Thailand and many other locations around the world, I was not sure what to expect and given authentic Asian cuisine in the USA is hard to come by I set my expectations low. Well it was fantastic. Perfect blend of flavours. Plenty of chicken and bean sprouts. Rice noodle was perfectly cooked. Would recommend this to anyone looking for something more flavoursome than your typical bland fare. read more
