I've lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for 15 years, and every time I drive down to Chicago, I make sure to stop at Plia's Kitchen because it never disappoints. Their pho has been consistently excellent over the years, with a rich, flavorful broth and fresh, high-quality ingredients. I've also enjoyed their tri-color tapioca drink and Thai coffee, both of which are consistently well-made and delicious. On my most recent visit, I decided to try the Pad See Ew. The flavor was very good, and although the rice noodles were thinner than the traditional wide ones used in Thailand, the dish had a satisfying wok-hot aroma that brought out the stir-fry's depth. You order and pay at the counter first, and the food usually arrives within 5 to 10 minutes. The service is always friendly and efficient. The vibe is also really nice, i.e., clean, simple, and relaxed, which makes the whole dining experience feel comfortable and welcoming. Plia's Kitchen remains one of my favorite stops whenever I'm heading to or from Chicago.

Both of these dishes were brimming with delightful flavors, requiring no additional ingredients to enhance its taste! I have visited numerous restaurants in the greenbay vicinity, and only a few can rival this exceptional establishment! I will be back!

    Drunken noodles

I tried the drunken noodles and they were great. We also tried the curry, pad se ew, stuffed chicken wing and egg roll. All were exactly what we were expecting (10/10). Will definitely be coming back here to try other things. The service was also great and staff were lovely.

We stopped at Plias Kitchen for dinner tonight because we are down in the Green Bay area making a pick up at Menards. And within 30 minutes we got a phone call saying our food was ready. We ordered one Platter of chicken pad Thai And another platter with chicken drunken noodles. Because we love spicy Thai food, we requested it to be extra hot and they sure delivered on our request! The food was excellent and the drunken noodles appear to have been handmade noodles which was even better. There is an awesome assortment of Thai condiments at each table. The food was excellent Li prepared to order and I wouldn't change anything about the ingredients or preparation it was perfect. The food was excellent Li prepared to order and I wouldn't change anything about the ingredients or preparation, it was perfect! All in all it was a positive experience and the only reason I'm not giving them a perfect 5 stars is because of the long wait time and the very cramped dining area. With food like that and customers waiting to order and patronize the restaurant, I would hope that there's a planned expansion in their near future. We will be back!

A bit of a hole at the end of a strip mall. Guy at the counter was friendly but food was just ok. Place was a tad stinky as well. Won't go back.

I drive out of my way for this place often thanks to a friend who introduced me to it. I have not had a bad meal yet - everything from stuffed chicken wings to egg rolls, spring rolls, pho, curries - so yummy! Service is always decent too - I have eaten in and taken out too. This place is always busy no matter what time of day. I love that they open at 10 am but wish they were open on Sundays.

Plia's Kitchen is a very small place. I mean, REALLY SMALL! There are 4 tables for 4 and 2 tables for 2. However, what the place lacks in space, makes up for it in taste. The pho is absolutely phenomenal. The stuffed chicken wings--extraordinary. Each table has a selection of different pastes, sauces, and spices to add to your pho or other entree to appeal to your preference of spicy or saltiness. Good stuff. You'll need to arrive a little early if planning for lunch, so plan ahead. Once you're seated, I have a fair amount of confidence that you won't be disappointed in the quality of your dish.

Not a big fan of any of the food. Went there to try the egg rolls that came highly recommended and they were greasy and poor flavor.

I started with the crab rangoon. I'm used to a lighter, crispier wrapper, so these weren't really my preference. The wrapper was thicker and flatter, and I didn't care for the filling. Next I tried the egg rolls, and those were a completely different stor I loved them! They were crispy, flavorful, and definitely something I would order again. For my entrée, I ordered the steak bánh mì. The bread was good, but I wasn't very impressed with the meat. It was just okay, cut into somewhat odd strips, and I felt like there wasn't quite enough of it for the sandwich. I probably wouldn't order that particular item again. The star of the night was the beef lo mein very tasty and packed with flavor. So good! The homemade ice cream was another highlight. While I was sitting there, I noticed quite a few customers coming through the door specifically for ice cream, and I can see why. They have a great variety of flavors to choose from. The waiter was friendly and provided good service, and the atmosphere had a pretty typical Asian-style décor. Since they're new, I definitely wouldn't let one disappointing sandwich keep me from going back. There are plenty of other items on the menu I'd like to try, and I'll definitely be back for those egg rolls, beef, and homemade ice cream!

Golden brown and crispy! It's too bad Green Bay is so far away from me. History: A few years ago 5xen market had the best chicken and rice. Then recently they were kicked out. The cook moved to Hmong town and the chicken was good. Sadly, for some reason in 2025 the chicken stopped tasting good. It's like the cook disappeared or left. Nowhere to be found. I have been hunting down a good chicken cook since the issue above. Then I happen to come across Asian Fusion at the Oshkosh tournament. Omg. Green Bay hold the gold ticket now. When I see "Asian Fusion" restaurant, I buy the chicken leg with rice! Exceptional! I'm happy again! Green Bay should cherish their chicken king! What does this mean? It means Green Bay has the best chicken and rice on the east side of Wisconsin! Hands down! Enjoy! Only a hand full of Hmong cooks know the secret recipe for cooking exceptional chicken and rice. Asian fusion really need to highlight their chicken more. Maybe say "best chicken in the state". FYI, you cannot beat MN chicken and rice. MN chicken is top dog. Highly recommended

Middle of the afternoon and a Sunday and we almost had the place to ourselves. The restaurant is spacious with many seating options. Service was prompt and attentive. The menu is large with sushi, Chinese and noodle options. There was also a nice assortment of appetizers. We chose the guacamole roll (novel and looked interesting, the rainbow roll (raw and familiar to us) and the mizu roll with a crab Rangoon appetizer. Each dish was beautifully prepared, presented and really fresh and flavorful. If this is the only sushi place in the area, it's all you will need. Location is also wonderful, situated across the street from a beautiful waterfront park with lots of good walking paths and benches.
