This is now PTY kitchen and still have amazing food. Fast service and wonderful people that work there

Dan's Kitchen has moved to Green Bay. They are excellent. They were replaced by PTY's Kitchen. The food is excellent and the menu is the same. Unfortunately for me, they are more authentic with their spice levels. Even when you specify mild or no spice, it is very! spicy. I had to quit eating when I could no longer taste the food. We used to come 2 or 3 times a month. It's going to be every two or three months now. read more

Small menu, but solid choices and easy customization for online orders. Tasty. Would order again.

I love this place. The food is soooo good, and the portions are great. My current favorite is the Pad See Ew with chicken, but I love the basil stir fry, the drunken noodle, the potato curry - I've had most of the menu now, and have yet to try something I wouldn't rate a 10/10. If you haven't been here and don't know what to order, you might think you're playing it safe by getting fried rice, but you're really missing out. Try something you might be hesitant about. If you can't decide, order the Pad See Ew (pronounce it just like it's spelled and you're fine) with chicken. I just finished it (for the fourth time), and I'm simultaneously sad it's gone and too full to eat more. read more

We visited on a rainy evening about 30 minutes before their close time. When we ordered and stated that we were going to eat it there, the person taking my order pretty much told me we'd have to eat fast if we weren't carrying out. Food was good, not great. Not sure I would come back. read more

This newly opened Asian kitcken is the real deal. For $8.50 you can get a nice lunch or dinner. They feature several popular dishes and appetizers. My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday about noon. There were a quite a few people, but still a couple of empty tables. The place is nicely decorated not necessarily in Asian decor. I ordered a dish called drunken noodles. These are homemade rice noodles with stir fried peppers, baby corn, basil, and beef. This was all prepared with a white wine sauce. Everything was very good. They have 5 tap microbrew beers and several well known brands of bottled beer. There is a sign instructing you to order before you sit down. They being out your order along with your drink. Unfortunately we didnt get our drinks until the meal came. We will be back to try other items on the menu. Dan's is a nice addition to Sturgeon Bay. read more

The food is fantastic - my favorite place for Pad Thai! and all their dishes are delicious :) Local family owned business, the staff are always courteous and helpful, the dining area is well set up and always clean. My go-to spot when I don't feel like cooking or want to get out for lunch on a workday. Thank you Dan and family! read more

The food taste so good here. I've had the pad thai and the pho here. The boba is ight but the food is the real deal. Comes out fast and warm. It's a small family run business and I really like the vibes in there. It's a nice spot to grab lunch at. read more

I've done takeout twice. It's ok. Pad Thai i ordered tonight had no lime, cilantro, or peanuts. Just noodles, sauce, and chicken.

We decided to get takeout from here after a long day of romping around Sister Bay and Bailey's Harbor. We called around 7:30pm since we knew they were closing at 8:00pm. We weren't super hungry so my SO and I ordered the Curry Noodles with chicken. Our friends ordered the Pad See Ew and Drunken Noodles, both with tofu. Theirs looked better than ours did. I'm not sure if it was because it was so close to closing, but the Curry Noodles we had lacked vegetables. There were shreds of bamboo in it and some pieces of green peppers, but not much else. I remember eating a lot of noodle and a lot of chicken. I think it was seasoned well, but I was a bit disappointed we couldn't specify spiciness level because that's what I think was missing. read more

We were hungover and we needed our usual hangover cure which is asian food. Not many asian restaurants around this area, so this place was our only option. Didn't expect much but it was a pleasant surprise! Our food was all great but pho was not the best. Beef in the pho smelled a little.. On the other side, pad thai was really good and the amount of meat that came with was huge! (Tom yum kung had like 15 shrimps. Amazing) pad see ew was also good. I'd come back for pad thai! read more

Chicken in pad see ew was very overcooked. Inedible. Spring rolls were ok, but mostly rice, not mostly veg as I'd hoped.

I've only been here 2 times in the last two years and each time my family and I have not had good service. They always forget to make one person's food and the person who didn't get their order didn't get to eat with everyone. You have to wait forever to order, then wait forever to get even water at your table. Then they don't check on your table at all to see if you need more drinks. Very bad service. I understand the workers are probably family, but please train them to provide better customer service, or hire help! Please do better Dan's Kitchen! read more

This new Asian kitchen is great! We tried it for the first time and were impressed. The restaurant is small and cozy. There are ample choices on the menu. I decided on the drunken noodles with beef. The service was prompt and friendly. When my plate came I was impressed with how good it was! I can't wait to try other things on the menu, including the famous spring rolls and other entrees! read more

We decided to try this brand new Thai restaurant downtown Sturgeon Bay. We ordered some appetizers consisting of Chicken Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoons. And for our main course we split an order of Drunken Noodle Chicken (Gene's review & photo helped us decide this one!) and Pad Thai Chicken. The interior of this restaurant was tastefully done the service was friendly and prompt in the food was incredibly tasty and to our requested and desired spiciness levels. We will definately be back soon! read more

Yes!! Authentic and fantastic! If you have been driving to Mai's in Appleton for stuffed chicken wings and epic egg rolls, they are joined with super great Pad Thai and Squash Curry right here in Sturgeon Bay. Average meal price is about $9.00 a person, a little more if you go with a $1.50 fountain drink or $4.00 bubble tea. I've been three times and find the rumors of long wait times to be outdated. 7-9 minutes have been my wait time on all three visits. read more

Flavorful egg rolls and noodle offerings, always a great place to eat. Authentic Laos food, we get our urge for Asian cuisine very satisfied. Excellent egg rolls along with the squash curry. Very clean and server was very helpful

If you're searching for Asian food, I recommend that you keep searching, although there's not a lot of Asian dining options in this area. For starters, while most restaurants now allow dine in, this place still is not. More importantly, to start with, the Boba styled drinks lack flavor, have too much sweetener. The food itself was relatively bland. The soup was probably the best and the curry squash was mediocre at best. No one here liked the pork ribs. For the money and quantity that you are given, you might as well go via the fast food option and save your money. read more

Sweet... We wanted to do take out on Friday night and decided on Dan's Kitchen. So, due to Covid our bag was waiting for us outside, still warm and well package. we ordered : - Fry rice : really good! Love It! - Pad Thai : Looked fantastic but.. sweet! - Sea Food : Fresh and well prepared but... sweet! - Egg Roll : Perfect - Crab Rangoon : Tasty, good but.. sweet! So overall, strange! Why would it be sweet? Called the owner, who is very nice, and he couldn't really give us an explanation. So, hopefully it just a mistake. read more

We are lucky to have such a fine Thai restaurant in Sturgeon Bay. Since well before opening a brick and mortar spot a year and a half ago, Dan's created an impressive following through the local Saturday farmers market. They opened already much-loved by locals. Be sure to try the egg rolls and stuffed chicken wings, the most popular market fare by far. Chicken egg rolls have a filling perfectly balanced in flavor with a nice nip of black pepper. The house made dipping sauce is a fine accompaniment. The chicken wings have the same egg roll filling, which also has a nice tangle of chewy rice noodles. Other appetizers (spring rolls, crab rangoon) are also worthy of your plate. For the time being, all orders are pickup only, paid for with your card upon ordering. No delivery, but pickup from the coffee table out front is small town living at its best. As you can tell, I'm a big Dan Fan. My knowledge of the entrees is kind of limited, however, because I'm struggling to order other than basil stir-fry with chicken!. In the interest of science, I have tried the fried rice (easily enough for 2), potato curry, squash curry, pad Thai, sweet chicken and, fighting to become my new favorite, cashew beef. Every item is made to order with great quality ingredients and great skill. The kitchen is impressively consistent, realistic (when they say 25 minutes, count on it), generous (12 egg rolls for $10?!) and clean. Entrees come loaded with a great balance of ingredients in tasty pan-finished sauces. Veggies are colorful, expertly cooked and always tasty. If you're nervous about spice levels, this is very entry level-friendly Thai cooking. Dan's is currently open for pick-up orders 10:30-8 Monday through Saturday. Sometimes they close weekends for family events, celebrations or emergencies but they usually share that information via their Facebook page. I'd post photos, but whatever I order is usually half gone before I remember! read more

I called my order in, and they left my order outside waiting for me. Fast and easy. However, this means my only connection to the people inside was the girl taking orders, who could use a little more friendliness on the phone. I totally understand that taking orders from faceless people is probably not the most exciting thing, but she is truly the only interaction people have with the restaurant right now. Food was fine. I've had better, and I've had worse. I got the pad see ew, which is my "measuring dish" -- I always get it first at places like this to see how it compares. If I lived here, would I order again? Probably, yes. read more

We got their Vegetable Pho! Sooooooooooo fresh and goooooooood! Best Pho in Wisconsin! You have to try it! You will love this place.

They were so busy which was a good sign. 'The squash curry was excellent!! Highly recommend.

This restaurant is a true GEM! It is our go-to restaurant in sturgeon bay. We love the squash curry, medium spicy. The flavors are complex and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. I also love the drunken noodles. We have dined-in twice in the past few months and felt very safe and comfortable, all of the staff was still wearing masks (thank you!) So glad to have discovered this lovely restaurant. read more

This was a pretty good lunch. We ordered a cashew dish and pad thai. With sides of crab rangoons and egg rolls. The cashew dish was pretty greasy but tasted very good. The pad thai was also very good, not as greasy. i think my favorite were the creamy crab rangoons. I didn't try the egg rolls but my friend said they were good, she noted a little spice from red pepper maybe? I would definitely eat here again. read more

They are not open for dine-in yet. Ordered take out from here by phoning in. Ordered 5 different things and all were good. The crab rangoon and egg rolls were good. Also ordered mixed veggies with chicken, basil chicken, and pad see ew w/ tofu. The dishes are nothing fancy, but solid execution, healthy tasting, and healthy portion sizes. I would eat here again. read more

They need to hire more people! During peak times the person taking orders really shouldn't have to be running around grabbing stuff while 3-4 parties are waiting in line we watched many people walk out. The crab Rangoon was super amazing, the fried rice was pretty decent, the basil stir fry was very good, the curry noodles were ok, the egg rolls were pretty flavorless. We also got the Pho, which shouldn't have the fake crab in it, it get super mushy and just not good. If that wasn't in it it would be way better. Also the spring rolls have ham which we have never seen before and should not be in them. I really want to like this place since it's the only place like it outside of Green Bay around here, and for a new restaurant definitely worth going to but definitely needs improvement read more

Really good Asian food at a good price. We've traveled to Southeast Asia and the dishes served were pretty authentic. My son had the Pho and I had the Pad Thai. Both were excellent. Nice and spicey. Large portions. Also had crab rangoon which was good. We'll be back. read more

Food was very good and fresh. I asked for an ingredient substitution and that was no problem. I really enjoyed my squash curry. My husband had a seafood curry and enjoyed it. I asked for spicy but it was still a bit too mild. Don't hesitate to ask for more spice. Fried rice seems to be the favorite dish there. Convenient location. give it a try! read more

My mother and I went on a short vacation to Door County and discovered Dan's, where we ate dinner 2/3 nights. We will be back just for this food! We had the same meals both times: curry noodles and pad Thai. Both 11/10. read more

Went there for the fist time today, not knowing what to expect, but we were so pleasantly surprised. The crab rangoons were crisp and their squash curry was delicious! I've had something like it before at another restaurant, but this version had the added bonus of mushrooms and bamboo shoots thrown in. I loved it. My husband liked the Basil Stir Fry as well. Many other things on the menu looked equally delicious, but we could only choose two things, so we definitely will be returning. Before we'd have to drive to Green Bay to get Thai food, but now that Dan's is here, we can get our fix right at home. We are very happy they're here! UPDATE: We went a few days later to get take out, and we waited 40 minutes for our food. People walked in, ordered food, received their food, and were eating while we were still sitting waiting for our takeout. The food was still delicious when we got it, but it was an extremely long wait. From now on we'll be more likely to sit down and eat because it took the same amount of time. read more
