Panda House - Seshaun chicken lunch - Chinese Near Me - Green Bay, Wisconsin

We won't be going back. My son, his wife, and I went there for a Mother's Day dinner. The website looked good, the menu prices reasonable, the reviews very good. We had decided ahead of time what to order. While there are tables, they are bare -- no condiments, no napkin dispenser, no hot sauce, nothing. There is also no water service -- you have to buy bottled water or soda, which we declined to do. I was ordering Mu Shi Pork as an appetizer to be shared, when I was informed that the restaurant didn't make pancakes! They just put the food on a plate with rice. Pretty hard to slather on hoisin sauce and eat it with our fingers. The lady ordered 3 egg rolls instead. When the food came, the egg rolls were the size of my thumb -- 2 bites -- for $1.49 each. Very little taste. I ordered Szechuan Beef, $10.99, according to the website menu. It looked and tasted good, but had very little hot in it. The portion was small compared to every other Chinese restaurant outside Green Bay that I've been in. The fried rice came in a bowl the size of a coffee cup. My son ordered Szechuan Chicken, $9.99. He said the chicken was rubbery with not much flavor, and a similar portion size. His wife ordered Lo Mein and ate it all. $8.99 We weren't given an itemized receipt, just a total of $49.17, with a $1 "convenience fee" for using a credit card. Something doesn't add up, as $4.50 + $11 + 10 + $9 = $34.50. Apparently, the online menu prices are no longer valid, so don't believe them and expect to get an inexpensive meal. We spent $60 with tax and tip, and all left a little hungry. Hardly anything went right for an eat-in dinner, hence 2 stars. Would have been one star, but the food tasted OK. read more

Panda House is my go to Chinese food place since moving to the area from CA. Hands down the best Chinese food I have found so far and well worth the 20 minute drive it takes for me to get there!! We don't have much here in Howard/ Suamico area for authentic Chinese , as they seem to accommodate what locals eat, so we have Midwest expression of Chinese food. They do an alright job, but wish it would offer more choices with eggplant, bok Choy or morning glory's. Has been awhile since I've gotten food to go here! The service was great...super friendly and smiley from the phone call to the pickup. Fast and hot food. They do have dine in but I have only gotten take out. I got the chicken lo mein and crab rangoons. The lo mein was very good....very similar to other local restaurants. The crab rangoons were ok but definitely have had better around town. Don't forget to grab your fortune cookies from the basket on your way out the door along with any extra soy sauce you may want! read more

They stole from me. I got home and was charged twice . My bank showed two charges . When I went back to show my account was charged two the female owner yelled it shows only processing. The two charges were deducted from my total and all charges on my account show processing while they wait to go through . They did not offer to stop one of the charges or give me cash for one and then let them go through. Their answer was to take time off work Monday when it goes through and show them I did and then maybe they'll give me my money back. I truly hope that is worth the loss of a customer and bad reviews until I get my money back. They told me too bad it's a mistake their computer made. Soooo fix it. I've reported it fraud to my company and filed a police report. Don't trust your money there. A simple here's the money we took or we will stop the payment would have saved face . read more

We've eaten here a few times, and each time has not been very good and average at best. They have a standard takeout Chinese menu, which is found at almost any Chinese takeout place in the country. The hot and sour soup is terrible, the spare rib appetizer is overly sweet and they have a very jelly-like texture. The vegetables tend to be very fresh, but the dishes are lacking in actual meat. The sauces we have had are not very flavorful, and are very one note. The service is fast and very friendly. This is place to hit up when you need some quick takeout, but don't expect too much. read more

Panda House is one the best Chinese restaurants I have ever had! I just recently moved to Green Bay from and this place has wonderful Chinese food. I ordered a different place that was closer to my house and delivered, and I thought that place was good until I ordered from Panda House! Oh my gosh, what a difference! It was night and day!! I ordered so much I was full in no time! But I definitely have leftovers. They were so polite over the phone it was unreal, I couldn't get over it. It was awesome. The people up here in the area are amazing! Again great food, great service, very polite!! I will definitely be ordering all my Chinese food from Panda House, the one by the Piggly Wiggly! read more

Hands down the best, nicest staff, most consistent in taste and quality (every time), super fast, and craveably delicious. Doesn't cut corners, ingredients taste fresh, rice has NEVER been soggy, better than every Chinese place in Green Bay. Not sure what to order? Sesame chicken or Garlic Chicken. Panda House has been a favorite for years. They have a very extensive menu and are willing to modify your dish to please you. Their prices are very reasonable and their ports are huge. Best value is their lunch specials at $5.29-$5.99 which includes rice (fried or white) plus an egg roll, soda, or crab Rangoon. They even included coupons along with my order today...one was a Buy 2 lunch lunch specials and get a third one free! That nets down 3 huge lunch specials to $4 each. I don't know of a better Chinese Kitchen anywhere in NE Wisconsin! read more

Ive been trying to find a good Chinese place since i moved here and i seen a review saying this was the best in town and possibly the state. Very high expectations after that and highly disappointed. I won't be going back nor would i ever recommend this place to anyone the food is horrible. The fried rice taste burnt and like it's being cooked in a pan that hasnt been washed in years and the general tso's chicken sauce is sour and taste spoiled. Ill be throwing this food out after writing this review because it is inedible. read more

N This is my go-to place for Chinese food I love Panda House they have flavor what should the place would have more of a restaurant quality dining experience I know it's in a strip mall but it should be like a restaurant I love their food 8 they should go in the traditional Chinese dishes other than the Americanized ones we want to try something different then the Americanized food I would love them to have a sushi chef just something a little different just my go to place I would just suggest doing something different and getting the place looking a little nicer and having a few dishes that are like out of the ordinary just my thought trying to help because that place I love I would give it five stars is there a way to change a few things decor and make it a fancy restaurant like the Chinese place that place has the flavor that is really good read more

Check your bok choy or cabbage for pepper spotting. It's an ailment of the cabbage plants used in many dishes. They claim it's safe because it doesn't wash off, like mold, but it is the plant rotting from the inside. It is inedible at this point. The prices are good for lunch, and the barbecue beef sticks are amazing, and amazingly overpriced. Good place for a bite, just dodge the cabbage and bok choy. read more

Nothing compares to Panda House, this place is amazing. My boyfriend always goes here and took me here. And it is honestly some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. Its always good to get a meal from Panda House. Veggies are fresh, sauces are flavorful and the meats are tasty. We normally start with fried potstickers, mm good. My daughter does not eat meat so we nearly always have the mixed veg with broccoli, if you prefer chicken with broccoli has the same terrific sauce. You can't miss with any of the lo mein options. One doesn't expect much from a take out Chinese restaurant sandwiched between Target and a grocery store. At least, I wouldn't. But Panda House is head and shoulders above other such places that I've been to in the Green Bay area. The food is fresh, not too greasy, and tastes great. Sure, I've had better (various places in Flushing, Queens come to mind), but Panda House is good Chinese food in absolute terms. As in, not just good for Green Bay. I am incredibly thankful to have found it on a friend's recommendation, as I've missed good Chinese food.
