Well, I was impressed. This China buffet was pretty complete. The sushi here was top notch. There were so many choices I didn't get a chance to try them all. As I said the sushi was top notch. They even had a hand roll. There was stuffed mushrooms which were good. I particularly liked the bacon wrapped imitation crab. The Lo Mein was not very warm. Everything else was perfect though. This is me and my boyfriend's hidden gem!! We love to go here for a cheap dinner/lunch out buffet style. Depending on what time you go it's usually 17 per person which is a good price for all the options they serve. Staff doesn't interact with you so I can't say much about service except for that they're always quick and efficient with refilling, restocking, and bussing tables. They have a variety of desserts and both Chinese and American food. The interior is decorated so fun and it's beautiful and interesting to look at. read more

It's a Chinese buffet. Don't expect too much. This isn't the Caesar's Palace or even Island Sushi. This is your typical run-of-the-mill, strip mall, American Chinese chocked full of msg Chinese food. My kid loves going here because they have ayce White RICE. Yes there's rice. People who post there's no rice at a Chinese buffet are dingbats. They keep the rice in a rice cooker at the end of one of the buffet tables. Just gotta look for it. My kid also likes the multi-colored jello they have on the cold buffet and the Chinese chicken nuggets (sweet and sour chicken without the sauce). You get the American food-pizza, garlic bread, french fries and the fried chicken is bomb!! Then there's the make shift grocery store Japanese sushi rolls, and of course the Americanized Chinese food typical to what most people are used to --lo mein, green beans, general tso's, etc. I would say the food is a hit or miss however it's always busy here whenever we go so that's a good sign. It's also one of the only buffets that offer twist soft serve with sprinkles and chocolate syrup which my kid also enjoys. Not even Pizza Ranch has this and Golden Corral is a hit or miss with this as well. And this is probably one of the cleanest buffets I've eaten at. Those women are on top of vacuuming under your feet, bussing tables and making sure the buffet is stocked and full. So all in all, it's a good place to eat if you have an open mind and an empty stomach, but if you're looking for a five star restaurant in a 3 star strip mall, keep driving and go dine at an authentic Chinese restaurant in Milwaukee or Chicago. read more

Food was typical Americanized Chinese food. I enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms. They didn't have good fried rice. Very packed, felt like we were in the way when the workers were cleaning. Very hard workers, constantly moving and cleaning which is cool, but again felt like we were in the way lol. Stopped in at China Buffet for a quick lunch.When you first enter, the restaurant is large and has a dingy appearance. I believe they could use more inside lighting. They seem to be relying on outside light. But don't be fooled or discouraged. This restaurant offers fine meals at a reasonable price. I found the buffet well supplied, clean and labeled so you are able to discern on item from another. There are plenty of choices from beverages to appetizers, entrees and deserts. They continually were clearing dirty plates from the tables. I sampled as much as I could and the food was good for a buffet. the choices were hot and fresh. There did not appear to be any items which had been in the serving plates all day. I found the experience to be pleasant. In fact, my wife is a tougher critic than I, enjoyed her lunch and has already recommended the restaurant to others. We will be returning. Good place to enjoy Chine food. 4 of 5 stars. read more

This quite possibly was the worst Chinese buffet I have ever eaten at. $17.95 at the door. Food was very bland and very mushy. I wouldn't feed this crap to my dog. The only reason I gave it one star is because it was clean. Several of the waitresses were wiping down everything, but the food was not very good. read more

This place should be shut down. I tried it off and on years ago, and back then their big thing was crab, but they would put out a few clusters at a time, and do their best to make you wait so long that most diners would either give up, or in my case find my table cleared (including my receipt gone),by the time I returned to it. On several occasions my table was cleared twice, often while I was up only getting sauces or my first drink, and when going up for a 2nd plate. When I went to the counter to ask what the problem is, the scowling lady behind the counter suddenly does not know any English or at least as much as when I was greeted upon arrival, (and paying ahead--witch is lame considering there are times diners should be refunded--good luck demanding that).Years went by and I tried it for lunch yesterday,(just because of the newspaper coupon), and being foolishly optimistic for improvements. Sadly mistaken and disgusted. None of the hot table items seem up to temp, by the time you sit back down your food is lukewarm to getting cold fast. (Chinese food best-Screaming Steamy Hot).The eggrolls are dry, dehydrated and very empty of ingredients. The textures, temperatures and overall taste of the white rice and fried rice and most of the dishes especially the lousy chum salmon, (chum lower in quality than canned salmon), are a disgrace to Chinese cuisine. The salad bar and desserts are dry, stale and seem fake. The Japanese style Maki rolls are stinky, probably made with rice leftover from when the buffet is taken down--the previous night, not the slightest authenticity and freshness, and totally unnecessary. I could go on and on, but why exasperate my energy on an all negative poor, cold, excessive MSG experience, that while thinking about driving home started with a headache leading me to feeling sick, (as if I had been dining in a dark damp alley, in a cold rotting dumpster--making me sick as I barely reached my bathroom at home on time --if you want to feel like you are going to die--use their facilities). Perhaps the one star is for the front of house staff wearing fairly nice looking bright red, gold embossed Chinese smocks versus the rest of these places in town wearing such greasy old shirts and cloths they appear to be peeling skin paint. read more

I've been here a handful of times and it's a pretty consistent experience. Their staff isn't very personable but since it's a self serve buffet it doesn't matter that much to me. There's a huge variety of food available, none of which is outstanding but is good enough to satisfy cravings. Their veggie lo mein is a solid option. Have always loved this place, mainly because the selection is so big. The food is good and I like the fact that drinks are included, unlike some buffets. That being said, the price keeps increasing and has done so many times since we started coming here years ago. Its about $2-3 more now than it was when we first started coming, which is pretty significant because the food is the same. Be warned that if you get buffet take out, the cost will always be different. They literally look at it and just price it randomly. I have no idea how they calc what to charge, but it varied by dollars every time I did it. Literally, and no, they don't weight it, they just look at how full it is or whats in it and pull a number out of thin air, I swear. I stopped getting buffet takeout for that reason. I don't do Chinese food a lot, so I never know what I want, so I do like going here since it's a buffet and can get a little bit of everything. I usually choose some noodles, and chicken. I always get crab rangoon's and egg rolls, but my new favorite is bacon wrapped crab. They will also have pizza, salad, jello, and other desserts. Five of us visited for lunch and this place was hopping. There are a ton of choices: rice, soups, chicken and beef dishes, fish, sushi, salad bar, dessert bar, soft serve ice cream, and American foods (pizza, wings, etc). Since it was busy today, food was refreshed frequently and almost everything we ate was very good. We didn't care for any of the beef dishes. Crab rangoons were top notch today. Every employee we encountered was very pleasant and a waitress came by frequently to clear our empty plates. The environment is very decorated but not irritating. Not bad for the price. Drinks are included. What I really like is that they have soup, a nice egg drop, mushroom, or wonton soup which were all decent (none amazing.) They have a pretty underwhelming variety of hot dishes to choose from, but they do have some sushi (ew) and a salad bar. A lot of the chicken dishes lacked flavor, except for a few which were actually pretty good, my favorite was the bourbon chicken. The roasted chicken had no flavor whatsoever. What really bugged me however was the service, the people working there looked incredibly grumpy and were not welcoming to customers at all. I can't really blame them, I'm sure people waste food and stuff all the time, but I did pay $11, try not to look at me like I'm the scum of the earth while taking away my (empty) plate. Also, I don't know what it is about Green Bay, but there seems to be obnoxious children everywhere- breathing on and destroying the presentation of the food everywhere. The promise is variety. And when you look at the numerous buffets, with shiny, well-lit dishes laid out upon them, it FEELS like they've delivered on it. But then you bring some food back to your table and you realize that it all tastes pretty much the same. The chicken in many of the chicken dishes is dried out and overly fried. Vegetables are meager, the best you can hope for is some broccoli. I'm not sure why we went there, we probably shouldn't have. My wife had memories of enjoying it years before. It seemed like a quick, easy, and hopefully enjoyable way to have dinner. But after eating there, it took my body about 24 hours to readjust. We won't be back. In fact, I may never eat at a buffet again. The secret to Chinese food is fresh food hitting a hot wok, and there are plenty of decent places where they make your food to order. Great price for a wide variety. And unlike another reviewer commented, the peanut butter chicken tastes vastly different from the bourbon chicken, and so on. For a quick budget-friendly lunch, nothing beats this place. The price isn't an excuse, either - the food is good. It is a regular buffet, they hardly ever restock the fried shrimp but they do have wonton soup on the bar. (which happens to be my favorite). Other wise it is basically the same o'l same o'l that you eat at a buffet. The place is OVER decorated. When ever we go here the children we take have a hard time paying attention, because they are too busy looking at all the stuff everywhere. Talk about feeling uncomfortable! I never felt so un welcome. When I got to the counter to pay, the older man (possibly the owner) just sat there starting at me in the eyes, felt really creepy. I then just guessed at the price as he did not say a word n just kept staring. He gave me change back. Then when I picked an area to sit he kept just starting at me. Then he said something to the ladies n they all were watching me like a hawk. I don't have a clue as to why. I am actually thinking about walking out I feel so watched creepy n uncomfortable. This is not my typical fare but my boyfriend loves it. I think he just loves the combo of all you can eat and fried food. You can eat healthy if you try here, but they don't make it easy. The food area always seems pretty clean but the bathrooms are a little bit of a toss up.
