Normally if I'm getting Chinese I go to Mr. Ginger but the quality has gone down since I got them last (about a year ago). I called to place my order and I ordered the boneless spare ribs and they gave me the combo instead. Then I ordered the pork lo mein and I got the Qt size, I had 24 small pieces of pork (think about nickle to dime sized) in the whole container. And yes I counted after not seeing any of the long strips I was used to while plating it up. Disappointed in the whole meal for what I paid. read more

We used to go here all the time. But the food taste went downhill so we took a break. Thought to try it again and was disappointed. Ordered the steamed dumplings which is a favorite of ours. Incredibly good, fresh, quality food! I ordered a beef dish, and it wasn't the usual cardboard slice restaurants often use. It was real, freshly cooked beef. The veggies still had some life in them, just perfect. I asked for spicy and I got spicy! It was truly excellent. I can never get food (other than Indian) with real heat, so I especially appreciated that. I also ordered crab rangoons, and I've had them at numerous places in the area, but these were absolute perfection, seasoned differently and the texture of the cheese was velvet. And fast too. I normally like this place but the last few times the food has not been great. One time the broccoli was mush and seemed old, and this week my fried rice was mushy. Couldn't even eat it. This place has potential but it was mostly just okay. Nothing worth making a trip for. Currently no dining, only take out. They are fast, so I'll give them that. The first visit, we didn't order ahead because we thought they'd be open for dine in by now but since they weren't we just ordered it to-go. Took only about 5-6 mins for the food to come out. The fried rice tasted like brown rice...which was not..that great.. the rest of the food, Gen Tso chicken and some beef stirfry was just alright... I've heard good things about this spot and had some time to check it out. It's a very clean restaurant and was completely empty when I was there. I dined-in but it seems the trend was to call ahead and pick up their food. It got really busy with the pick up orders. I was a little overwhelmed with the menu, but I ordered the chicken lo mein. I'm glad I didn't order the large because I barely finished the regular sized order. It was okay...nothing outstanding, but it did the job. read more

I wish I could like this place since it's so close to my house, but it's not good. I ate here about 6 years ago and I didn't like it, but today I thought I would try it again since the place I wanted to eat at was closed. The small portion was super tiny- more like a side dish than an entree. When they handed me the bag I thought it felt super light. I asked for no broccoli, but there was still broccoli in the dish. The crab Rangoon are disgusting. The filling is soupy and sour tasting cream cheese, not a speck of crab to be found. I gagged while eating one because the taste and consistency was just awful. Even the fortune cookie was bad! No soy sauce was included in the bag. They have large bins of sauces for you to grab. However, some of the packs must have opened spilling their contents all over the other packets creating quite the mess. Oh Mr. Ginger, you could have been my new friend! Here we have yet another mediocre Chinese restaurant with the same menu, decor, and level of service seen across the US. Generic photos on the menu board, cleanish (but not clean) interior, dull decor. Entree portions seem large, but the food was run-of-the-mill. Oddly, the rice portions are small. Mr. Ginger, with your cute name and hard-working staff, you could have made an effort to be creative and fun, but I found just another bland Chinese restaurant. read more

I unlike a lot of people that order from here, actually have tastebuds and I know how to cook. I was busy so thought that we'd get takeout. This isn't my usual takeout place for Chinese food but thought that we'd give it a try. $40 worth of food to get home to freezer burnt tough and chewy egg rolls that weren't the shrimp ones I paid for, flavorless food that any reputable Asian Cuisine Chef would be ashamed to cook, and I just wanted to make them aware, didn't want a dime back but I did offer to bring the food back. The "manager" who was very rude and disrespectful suggested if I didn't like my food that I could just leave a review about it so here it goes. Food that normally takes time to cook with care and quality was sloppily done and handed to me in less than 6 minutes. I trusted them, never, ever again. The "manager" then tells me, "Well, you're the only one who has ever complained so go eat somewhere else"." There was not one Asian person in the place to be seen so possibly new owners?? Super fast and the best crab meat ragoons in Green Bay hands down!! Also, their main dishes are great as well. I highly recommend.
