I recently ordered takeout from Green Tea and was pretty disappointed with the meal. I got boneless spare ribs, an egg roll, white rice, and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were okay--I'd give them a 3/5. The filling was decent, but nothing special. The boneless spare ribs, however, lacked flavor. They were completely drenched in sweet red sauce, which overpowered everything. I could barely taste the meat itself. The white rice was the worst part--way too mushy and watery, like they added too much water to the rice pot. Definitely not good. The only real highlight was the egg roll--it was by far the best part of the meal. Crispy, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. For the price, I expected better flavor and quality. However, I will say the takeout bag was a nice surprise--it's a reusable tote, which is a cool touch. I've ordered from here once before and it was actually pretty good. Servings are large, and food is inexpensive and very hot. I do;t recommend sitting down - -there are tables, but clearly this is a place where it's better to take out. Coming from New England, I find Midwestern Chinese food a bit odd. The hot and sour soup was very spicy, but not sour, and clearly was made form some kind of artificially colored base. The Kung Pao chicken we neither authentic (with Sichuan pepper) not standard (with little hot chillies) . It has a lot fo good lightly cooked veggies, and some over- cooked chicken, and was moderately spicy but not particularly flavorful. No celery. THe Mongolian Beef was tastier, but not spicy at all. No brown rice -- only white or "fried (which didn't seem to have really been fried, and had a lot of yellow food coloring in it). All around, meh. read more

We placed an order with Uber Eats. We ordered 6 crab rangoons, we those with a very small amount of sauce. It literally was the size of a shot glass for 6 rangfoons. The chicken and brocolli sauce tasted terrible, it honestly tasted like vinegar. I could not eat the chicken and brocolli, I threw the entire order in the garbage. I ordered egg foo young, fried wanton and spring roll. The wantons were spoiled - some kind of foul odor came out of the filing and wrapper were burnt. I mean dark brown burnt. Completely unpalatable. The egg foo young was over cooked to the point that the edges were crispy and hard, and the egg itself on the outside was so overcooked that the edges came off in a sheet. There were egg shells in the section I cut into. The spring roll filling was soggy. The fryer oil needs changing - everything save the spring roll was very very dark. On the up side, the staff were courteous and polite and answered questions with respect. It was nice that an order that was placed online could be picked up at the drive thru window, and handed off with a thank you. Overall, this would not be a place I would recommend for Chinese style food. I am very disappointed. $23 and we couldn't consume most of it. I gave 2 stars for the service only. read more

First experience and I can already say we will be back! Drive through was quick. Noticed they have a dining room available as well. Ordered two dishes, sesame chicken and beef, both presently nicely and food was delicious. I wish more than 1-2 pieces of broccoli came with the sesame chicken, but I think you have to order extra separately. I was missing San Gabriel Valley/Monterey Park during a trip to Wisconsin and Green Tea had some items beyond the typical American Chinese food options you see in the middle of nowhere. The food here rocks baby, yeah! This is our go to for Chinese food. I love the general Tao's and crab meat Rangoon but everything else I've tried is delicious. While in Green Bay we were looking for Chinese food and through a Yelp search came across Green Tea. The reviews looked favorable and in this time of social distancing they have a drive thru option. On arrival the drive thru line was as long as if we were hitting a Starbucks at peak time. Very glad that we called ahead because we didn't have to wait in the drive thru line at all. We did however enjoy our food car picnic style in the adjacent parking lot and the line of cars just kept coming. Wow & excellent drive thru Chinese food option. The portions were quite large and the prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed the egg rolls (very crispy), fried & steamed dumplings with interesting flavor. I had the pork lo mein. It was enough for two and was prepared very well. The location is in a former Sonic restaurant. I am completely disgusted and disappointed. Our food arrived lukewarm and soggy, strike one. After the first two or three bites, a scrape a metal was found in the chicken, strike two. We corrected them at the window and the manager gave us a lecture about how we were wrong/dare we make a correction when the food was already made. She then stated we should take the wrong food. What's not to love about this place? It's quick, friendly and yums! Staying in Green Bay this week to check out some of the restaurants in the area because well, I've eaten myself through Appleton. Navigated myself to the East Town mall - couldn't find this place at first but it actually took over an old Sonics that use to be there. So drive a little past the mall and Kohl's and it's on the left on E Mason. Plenty of parking and it had a drive thru. Fast Food chinese food... I like it! I ordered a dinner portion of the mongolian beef and a wonton soup (with 4-5 wontons) in it. My grand total came out to be $8.09... seriously... $8.09!
