I've since moved cross country, but made a point to visit when I was in town recently. The chicken lo mein (requested spicy) was so good that I keep thinking about it. I am fortunate to live in the San Francisco Bay Area where Chinese restaurants are plentiful, but i can honestly say I haven't found lo mein as good as Mandarin Garden. Service is friendly if not perfect (a few small hiccups during our visit). The bathroom could use some updating. But overall it is a place I look forward to visiting any time I am back in Green Bay.

Ordered hot tea- absolutely zero flavor and no sugar on table to add to it! Egg rolls very greasy and just lacked any flavor- won ton soup equally flavorless. Chicken with peapods the final topper to an awful dining experience! Sorry but this place won't last- not with all the dining options there now and more sure to come as Green Bay grows & grows! 2 stars only because i didn't get sick afterwards!!!

Mayflower is a "typical" chinese takeout place -they just do it better than everyone else. Don't go for the atmosphere - it's a hole in the wall type place. Personally, I like that. The places that go out of their way to look authentic usually are the furthest thing from that. The food speaks for itself. I'm not a "I'll have the usual" guy - I get different menu items just about every time (though I do have favs). It's always hot, fresh, perfectly seasoned & spiced, & awesome. I always smile when I call & hear "mayfrowa, how may I hewup you?" and how whether you order 1 item or 20, it's always ready in "bout fitteen minute". Trust me on this one, Mayfrowa doesn't disappoint.

Would also like to see a spring roll that isn't deep fried! Just fresh stuff in a soft wrap! Alas, my search continues for a place so I don't have to cook!

I think they got rid of the buffet because it wasn't very profitable. That is too bad because I liked the variety. Should have maybe thought about raising prices.
