The food was fairly standard Chinese food that you come to expect at these restaurants. It was well made, reasonably priced, and out fairly quick. What list them 2 stars from me was the appalling condition of the bathroom. The owner should take pride in the entire restaurant and not just the kitchen. Food is priced cheap, place looks a but dingy and saw cooks use bare hands a lot but food is pretty darn good. They use the white plastic bowls with the firm fitting lids but they put rice in bowl first which takes up space. They also give you LOTS of veggies if you order something with veggies. My buddy asks for no veggies and gets a bowl fulla rice, gravy and meat!! I might have to try that next time. They have new hours where they stay open half hour later now so think it was 10pm the use to close, now it's 10:30pm. read more

Compared to other places in town the food is okay. I go here instead of the one across the street (Mayflower) because here my order is always correct and ready quickly. The inside is dingy - it's really more of a take out place. I think the best thing about this restaurant is that they are open late (10 or 11 depending on the day) which is unusual for Chinese places in the area. I like their egg drop soup and their crab rangoons. I generally also order sweet and sour chicken and general tso's chicken. read more

The only real issues we've had was our order was wrong once, and one time there must have been a computer glitch because our order was sent on the website but not received on their end. OK, this place is essentially for pick-up, not so much to dine in. Professionalism is missing from the counter person. You order, they cook, you take is how it goes. Despite the complaint already made, I will say that their food is fantastic. Always hot when you open your carton, tastes pretty good, and the leftovers are even better the next day. Their crab ragoons need more filling and not fried so long. They do a great job otherwise. I recommend them for anyone having a hankering for Asian food. read more

I had been craving some Chinese food for a while and decided to try this place out, but it did NOT cut it! The vegetable spring rolls were mushy inside so it was like eating baby food and the crab rangoon tasted like onions. The rest of my food, a sweat and sour chicken platter, was just sub-par. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the pork egg roll. On top of it, the female delivering the food was not very professional, was using her phone while she was giving me my food, and went so far as to try looking around in my hotel room while she was waiting for me to finish with my order. The food was horrible. Called and complained. Woman answering could hardly speak English. I asked if she was the owner and she said no. Kept telling her how the food was bad and the order wasn't right. She hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a man. He tried blaming everything on us. The food is flavorful and the prices are reasonable. Minimum order is $12, but delivery is free within their normal delivery area. This is one of the better Chinese take outs I've had since I left Hawaii, and much better (by leaps and bounds) than the other place that delivers in the downtown Green Bay Area -- China Palace. The food at Lin's is not as greasy and has more flavor, the prices are also more reasonable. Delivery was timely and arrived earlier than expected, the driver was courteous but a little shy. Lin's sometimes has coupons in the ValuPak mailer sometimes. Definitely my go-to Chinese delivery from now on. I have yet to try their restaurant for a dine-in experience, but people in the neighborhood say it's great, been around for many many years. read more

Great Chinese food for the price. Have been going here for several years on occasion. Every time I order at this place my food has been given to me hot and is delicious. I always get the General Tso or the Spicy beef. A few reviews have stated that the place isn't very clean. I have yet to see the place dirty. May have something to do with the time I order. Not sure. Only issue is the staff is sometimes hard to understand. Especially over the phone. Not really an issue since it obviously is a restaurant with foreign food. I went to Lynn's garden the food wasn't ready and it was 10 minutes when I was told I ordered a orange chicken and I also ordered a honey chicken when I received the food looked the same and tased the same. I called them to ask to tell them what does the orders taste of the same and they were arguing Omaha one taste one too spicy and the other one should taste not spicy I got both of them and none taste and spicy. This place just robbed us blind!! We're here visiting from L.A. just saw the Packers kick some Cowboy ass. We get 2 our apartment tired and hungry,we called this place,put in a $72 order. So my buddy charged it on his card right. We here at the house didn't know he payed,he left to the store and didn't say anything. So we all pitched in and payed cash when the food got here. She had us sign the receipt anyway. We're drunk,tired,and hungry,so we didn't pay it no mind. We signed, gave the female driver $72 cash,plus an $8 tip. My buddy gets home,told us he charged it,so he calls to complain. The driver had the nerve to straight up lie and said the only cash she got from us,was a $30. Really? $30 tip on a $72 bill? If I could give a lower than 1 star rating I would. Everyone multi-tasked, which means everyone handled the money, delivery & cooked with no gloves and never saw anyone wash hands. The guy took 3 phone orders ahead of us as we waited at the counter. We waited an hour for our food & every-other phone call was a complaint. The food is always adequate, if not better than average. What we liked best about Lin's Garden was that we could order online and pay for the meal with our credit card online. They took that feature away. It was considerably more convenient and accurate for us to order and pay online. For example, I had to read my number back to the guy over the phone 4 times before he got it right. Also, he sounded angry with me for using a credit card. I get it, credit cards charge a percentage to be used. But the majority of the public prefers to use plastic than cash, especially for a purchase more than a few bucks. Lin's Garden is my family's favorite Chinese takeout place. We lived out of town for two years and my husband pined for their Mei Fun. Not everyone makes it but is good. Kinda like Lo Mein but with fine rice noodles instead it. We particularly like the Singapore Mei Fun ( spicy but good) and the Mongolian Beef (you can ask for extra beef for a charge) There are other places around that are ok but this little family run place is really good food. read more

I gave this a 2 rating because their veggie delight with white sauce was quite bland. It was not creamy. I would get a little taste of sauce every so often but tasted watery. Just tasted like plain veggies over rice. My heavy salt I placed on it did nothing to help. I have eaten this same entree at many other Chinese restaurants in Green Bay and others including a Panda House off a Limekiln and New China Kitchen off Webster and China kitchen off mason and their veggies in white sauce are sooo flavorable. I mentioned to them it tasted a little bland trying to figure how I was going to eat it and they said the white sauce is bland. Well it's their white sauce not other restaurants. They were going to give me some brown sauce but that's filled with MSGs so I passed. A little disappointed. Will be going to my other favorite Chinese places instead. Used to love this place, not anymore! If you want a shock to your system, walk into their restaurant and prepare to gag. It is disgusting. I mean "shut the place down" filthy dirty. The tables all had food, grease & grime on them. The countertop was covered in some kind of mystery crud. I'm guessing the floor hasn't seen a mop in weeks. Best of all, how is it possible to have mold growing on stainless steel? The staff was friendly, but sadly their hygiene matched the rest of the place. I ordered online at 6:06 pm today... I didn't receive my food until after I called and After 1 1/2 hours of waiting. I live 3 minutes down the road from this joint... When I got my food, it was cold, rubbery, and like they only rewarmed it in the microwave 2 minutes before bringing it. As I was eating my sesame chicken and pork fried rice... The rice was barely done, and I found a raw piece of pork in my rice, I'm also pregnant.. Raw meat is a no no. I then ATTEMPT to eat one of my spring rolls I ordered for my husband and I, they were mushy, cold, and obviously more than a day old. My husbands food was the same. I was made to pay full price, not compensated in any way, shape, or form. The guy took my $20, and about to walk away expected my tip.... Naturally I asked for my change back, got less than what I was supposed to get in change back, and he acted like he didn't know what 'rest of my change' meant.
