I've been asking for an estimate for two days when I finally got someone they said they would do a virtual estimate to give me a better idea of how much it would cost. They never called me at the time they said they would I called them and they never answered my calls I sent a text and nobody ever replied I had made arrangements to be home for this estimate so I'm very disappointed!!! Wow! These guys are so awesome :) I called 1 day before to see if they had any availability to move my things from my apartment. And although it wasn't a lot of stuff, they are pretty heavy furniture. Not only were they here the next day, they also took very good care of my items in about 2 hours! Both gentlemen were extremely professional and kind... AND they adhere to covid rules by wearing a mask! You guys are wonderful and I will definitely recommend this company as much as possible! Honestly, the most disrespectful company I ever worked with. Straight off the bat, they came 3 hours late to our appointment and never gave us a call or updated us on where they were. We had to call them and find out where they were. My bad for not assuming they were on their way when it was 11:30am (past our 10am appointment time) and they were nowhere to be seen. The quote they gave us was a $90/hr quote. I should have assumed they meant starting from when they leave where they're coming from. That's my bad i guess. They charged us $275 to move one cabinet and were not physically here for more than an hour. Their workers threatened to follow me to the bank if I didn't have the money. I needed a second to get the money and when I told them that, they claimed I was holding them up and were gonna charge me for the extra time I needed. I called the owner, Troy, and he wasn't any better. I told him I felt disrespected by the whole situation and that I just wanted to talk about it and I asked for an apology. I asked him to apologize for the lack of communication and of course he didn't. He gave the excuse that there was traffic and said "what do you want me to say" when I clearly just said "hey man, I get that you can't control traffic but we just wanted to be updated". Why is it on the customer to call and see if they're even on their way. Google or apple maps have ETA's you can literally just tell your customers you're running late and will get there at this time. He kept arguing with me and giving me excuses. I have worked in food service and customer service for 7 years and I get it. Things happen. But you have to communicate with your customers and when something happens, you apologize and move on. Beyond terrible customer service on their part. Side note: I had an elderly grandma at home and they didn't even have masks when I asked them to wear them for her. I gave them masks. Not a big deal but still something that happened. Two young movers came in and looked to see what had to be moved.said they were going down to get their tools, they went down and drove away and never came back.never called or left a message,we called and didn't get a answer. The time frame they gave me for them to show up was between 9- 10 am. They arrived after 2pm. They forgot to bring the mattress stabilizer for my adjustable mattress to my new residence.To be fair, not everything from that room went on the truck, but movers should be careful to bring all the pieces of furniture they dismantle to the destination. A small knob on an antique piece of furniture that was an heirloom was crushed in the move. On the other hand, they were patient when there was a delay in getting into my new apartment and the had to wait an additional hour before they could go home. I should have listened to the reviews, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I scheduled a day for our move weeks in advance. I verified the night before that the movers will be here on time the following morning and got confirmation that they would. Day of the move, as it was 20 minutes past the time they were suppose to arrive, I called and got led to voicemail. A little while later I got a text saying that all of their movers have Covid and that they are not coming. With something that is very time sensitive such as a move, this is very unprofessional. These movers were awesome! I highly recommend them. I messaged Muscle Movers late at night and Troy responded immediately. I was in a panic as the movers I had hired through Uhaul had canceled. We were able to schedule and get his crew here in less than a week. He sent out Ethan and Phillip. He provide the truck, all the supplies and 2 strong guys. These guys arrived on time, with a smile, a very friendly and helpful attitude. These young men were not your typical movers. Previous movers I have used can be rough around the edges and you feel on guard the entire time. These guys were the exact opposite. My move was somewhat difficult as I had 2 locations for a pick up and one drop off location. They took it all in stride. They always listened to what I requested, and would ask further questions for clarification. Their communication was great and so appreciated. I live in a somewhat remote location and the drive is winding and tricky. They managed the truck and my contents with care and with great driving skills. My husband scheduled with Troy in advance for a morning move. We had everything packed, in boxes (they don't pack anything, only move stuff) and ready to go. We called to make sure everything was set for that day and he assured us he was on the way, and had to go rent another U-Haul to help us move because the one they used was on another job. Troy was at a job at the time of the phone call but said to send him details and that the would confirm later. He did not reach out to confirm but when I did he ensured he would be able to make it. I confirmed again the night before the move to which I received affirmation. Contacted Troy to request a local move. He was quick and responded to the request setting a date and time. He texted to confirm a day in advance. Due to issues with closing on my home, I had to reschedule once. Further complications with closing and had to cancel the 2nd time. Troy was responsive and just said to let him know when he could help. After closing issues with my home were resolved, I contacted Troy and he was able to fit me in right away. The day of the move, the movers themselves were quick and able to move very heavy objects rather easily. I had an abundance of junk that I did not anticipate needed to be thrown away prior to move. Was looking for a moving company that would drive out to Victorville, as the majority of movers that I called, would not do so. I called Muscle Movers, spoke with Troy, and he gladly accepted the job. Troy was able to nicely explain the whole process to me, including price. Troy and his moving partner, Rob, arrived on time and got to work right away. Both very courteous and attentive. All the furniture was nicely protected with wrap or a moving blanket. Once everything was loaded, all items were secured to the moving truck with tie-down straps. Their drive time was pretty much what Google Maps had calculated. All furniture arrived in one peace. Fraud! Beware. i needed help loading up a pod & the workers sent didn't seem to to have a clue how to do it. I told them in the first 10 mins this arrangement wasn't going to work out & that I'd be better hiring professional pod loaders & I'll pay for their time & trouble. At which point, the owner drove over & wastes my precious time arguing, to the point of exhaustion, explaining to me how my packing wasn't up to his standards & how I should be better prepared & not call on the day of moving etc. It was exhausting! The owner charged me for 3 hours, for the time they didn't spend & the work they didn't do. Dishonest work ethic!! Way to make unearned money.
