Chirashi bowl and another chirashi bowl with seared fish

The fish in the chirashi bowl was so fresh and tasty! Would definitely recommend. It comes with 20 pieces of fish which is a steal! Next time I plan to check out the lunch sushi plate. Will be back next time I visit Snoqualmie falls.

Nice, clean place. Musashi's recently opened on the Ridge so had to check it out. We ordered the Special Bento and Sushi Nigiri. The bento box came with two meat skewers served over rice. Not heavily seasoned but still quite tasty. There's also some grilled veggies which were quite tasty, and then some sort of salad which I didn't particularly care for The best part of the bento box was the multiple pieces of sashimi- so good. The sushi nigiri lunch box was delicious. On a sidenote, my son worked in a sushi restaurant while in college. he commented at the skill of the sushi as he sliced the fish Definitely come back again

Ok who lied? Or maybe this how the mainland does sushi I don't know. I saw the reviews and thought to give it shot. Coming from Hawai'i a girl misses her rice. I ordered Shrimp Tempura roll, Unagi, chicken skewer, Maguro, Ebi and Hamachi. The fish previously frozen which when down well is doable but, this one had zero flavor tasted funny. The unagi dry and no sauce...the chicken ok but super tiny. They asked if I wanted tea I replied "Ocha ... Green tea?" The guy stared at me said corn? I have never had corn tea so I passed. I will say cashier was friendly, establishment was clean but for real the sushi game needs work. Any Kanaka visiting this area please tell me im wrong... I only took two pictures cause my husband didn't believe me on the size.

Nothing innately offensive about this sushi place. Presentation was great, and the rice had a nice vinegar taste (which unfortunately, many places fail on). Prices were also incredibly reasonable: all this for around $33 before tip. They provided us free hot tea which was also very nice. Food came out pretty fast too and ambiance was simple. Fish quality is where we were a bit taken aback. Everything was quite fishy (especially the tuna), which may be indication that it wasn't entirely fresh. The tamago sushi was also not sweet enough, but that can be easily resolved with a little addition of sugar. I think for the price this was perfectly reasonable however, and if you want to eat sushi on a budget, this spot is not bad at all.

The grilled skewers are amazing. Feels like Japanese street food. The space is too sterile and spread out. It will feel more cozy if seating was close to the sushi chef. Food was good but a bit sparse with lots of rice. The noodle salad is a big pass. It's a self-service type of restaurant

Chirashi bowl - freshest fish & rice was perfect!

The valley has needed something that offers fresh fish (not the one location we have to choose from in the NB strip mall). Had an opportunity to try the chirashi bowl and spicy sake Maki, and both were so dang fresh. The rice was perfection. So pumped to have an option for chirashi bowls. The don't currently have the opportunity to sell alcohol, but I believe this is approaching soon. Food alone is 5 star. I think they need to live-n up the vibe, but I know they just opened. I'll be back. And several times. - whether it's take out or sit down.

Good quality sushi at a a reasonable price. The complementary tea is a nice touch. Place was clean and inviting. Will be back!

We love and regularly go to the original Musashi's in Wallingford. This has everything we love about Musashi's in a new larger space to the background of K-Pop music. The folks who work there are always nice. Sometimes this place even has otoro (fatty tuna) which is a must-try! All of the sushi is large pieces of super fresh fish. If you like to go ski at Snoqualmie this is a perfect place to stop by on the way - it's less than 10 minutes off I-90!

    That's a lot of food!!

Musashi's on the Ridge!!! Where have I been, living under a rock? One of my favorite sushi restaurants opens in my backyard and I'm not aware until 3 months later! Used to hit up their Bellevue location and I had to just try this location out. Needless to say it did not disappoint. I've always felt that Musashi's Chirashi Bowl was the thing to get off their menu to get the most bang for your buck. You get a good variety of generous cuts of sashimi. Tuna, eel, salmon, the bowl has it all. Left filling satisfied, definitely will be back again.

The Seared Ahi appetizer we ordered was incredibly fishy, pungent, and clearly not fresh. Definitely the worst dish we ordered. Spring rolls were whatever. The 2 sushi rolls (Ocean Queen and Outstanding I think) were not good either, but not terrible. These were edible and a relief to eat after the Seared Ahi monstrosity. I was feeling nauseous, but my mom wanted to order an udon to offset the fishiness of the ahi. I told her it'd be a bad idea since I couldn't imagine the udon would be any good either, but she said "How can they mess up udon? It's an easy dish to make." Turns out, you can mess up udon. The noodles were overcooked and limp. At the end of the meal, I was queasy af and disappointed. It's not a super cheap place either, so we dropped like $120 on an abomination of a meal. Service was good though, and the servers were nice. I will not be coming back due to the food quality and taste, but the service and ambiance were solid.

Zushi Sushi is somewhere in between. I would not say to a Seattle person to purposely drive there. But I will say to folks nearby that it's a worthy restaurant. The place is neat and tidy, not showing its age yet, even though I know it has been opened for years. The service is swift and to-the-point. I am fairly certain this place is Japanese owned. Prices are fairly reasonable without the common 'Eastside tax'. I often find older restaurants to be more reasonably prices due to lower overhead. The Food: Avocado Bomb, $10 - 3.5 Stars Other than a bit too covered with tempura bits, this dish met expectations. The price matches what I have seen in Seattle. Salmon Belly (Sake Toro) Nigiri, $7 - 4.5 Stars Good cut and good white fatty stripes for sake toro. Thumbs up. Lion King, $15 - 4 Stars Menu: California with seared salmon on top and parmesan aioli, unagi sauce, scallion With these type of specialty rolls, presentation is as important as the ingredients, combination, and creativity. This roll as the best out of the three we ordered. Zushi Flower, $19 - 3 Stars Menu: Shrimp tempura, avocado, spicy tuna with seared salmon on top, spicy mayo, unagi sauce, parmesan aioli, and kaiware, red tobiko on top This specialty roll did not at all look like the photo. At $19, it's the most expensive amongst their rolls. Disappointing. The ingredients and taste were fine. It didn't warrant the Zushi namesake, and I don't see 'flower' in its presentation. Cherry Blossom, $15 - 2.5 Stars Menu: salmon, avocado, cucumber, and tuna on top This roll was the most 'man-handled' looking roll amongst the three we ordered. It also did not look like the photo. In one of the pieces, I spitted out a brown piece of something. It turned out to be the tip of the avocado. They graciously offered to take it off the check or make a new roll. Grilled Hamachi Kama, $14 - 2 Stars This was a very dull and boring hamachi kama. Not much seasoning, not much sear, the skin is not crispy, yet the fish is overcooked to the point of being dense. Tempura Oreo, freebie We were gifted a tempura Oreo. Interesting and pretty, but not something I would order. No rating. I wish Yelp would do half stars. I think they are a solid 3.5 Stars. Not enough 'good' happened (other than the comp'd roll) for me to bump them up to a 4 Stars.

However, I was pleasantly surprised and very relieved when the food was piping out when my boyfriend arrived from picking it up. He got the chicken teriyaki while I got the mackerel teriyaki as a reviewer mentioned that they remove all the bones. Mackerel is one of my favorite fishes but I just ate the time consuming and pain of the bones. The teriyaki sauce was sweet and savory and coated the cooked vegetables and spring mix below the entree which was really good. The mac salad was delightful with great textures from the macaroni, onions, carrots, corn and other goodies. My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken teriyaki and I also appreciated that it wasn't overly charred or burnt like many other teriyaki joints or sushi restaurants do. My boyfriend mentioned that the lady who greeted him and handed him the food was friendly and accommodating as we wanted chopsticks so she added that in for us. A solid takeout restaurant that is affordable and delicious!
