    combo: teriyaki chicken and MongolianBeef

A recent try as I have been seeing going in and out of this place for months. Great experience!! They know their stuff. High quality stuff, huge portions and fair prices.

So much food for $20! Definitely come check this place out. Everything was delicious.

Chicken and veggie stir fry + rice with some excess cabbage removed

After not being a fan my entire life, I can now honestly say, "I luv teriyaki"! Seriously. This place has swayed my opinion completely and now I understand the hype. Their sauce is excellent. Chicken cooked perfect, a little seared with grill lines but juicy on the inside, exactly how I like it and was quality! Quick friendly service, probably not somewhere I'd sit down to eat or want to "go out" to, but fabulous for to go's and convenience! My only complaint would be the chicken and veggie stir fry we ordered. The chicken was significantly less quality than our chicken teriyaki order, not cooked very well, lots of pink in pieces :/. Also, you would expect more variety of veggies... we got a TON of cabbage, some broccoli and a couple garnish style, thinly sliced carrots. No mushies, snap peas, etc. Flavor was super bland, little to no seasoning or veg/herbs to contribute (I.e. garlic, onions, cilantro)... Fast food style ambiance but way better than what you would get elsewhere! Will definitely be back, but sticking to standard teriyaki order as our go to :) Thank you for the bomb grub guys, we "LUV" it!! Pro tip: call ahead to order

Chicken Teriyaki Lunch Special (with Brown Rice +$2)

Chicken Teriyaki Lunch Special: The chicken was more burnt than preferred, but the meat was still quite tender. The sauce was good and the rice had a nice texture. I wished the meat came out hotter. The service was good and the food came out very fast. There is a place for you to bus your plates by the door.

Been frequenting this place since 2013 and have never been let down. The staff greets you with a smile and the food is always delicious.

If you're into large portions without any vegetables, this is your place. The honey chicken plate comes with two scoops of rice and a large helping of chicken. Hot and fresh, made to order. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Prices are between fair and steep, but you do get what you ask for. High school me would have loved the lack of veg and the heavy focus on chicken and rice. Adult me kinda misses the lack of veggies. That would probably be my only complaint.

The Seared Ahi appetizer we ordered was incredibly fishy, pungent, and clearly not fresh. Definitely the worst dish we ordered. Spring rolls were whatever. The 2 sushi rolls (Ocean Queen and Outstanding I think) were not good either, but not terrible. These were edible and a relief to eat after the Seared Ahi monstrosity. I was feeling nauseous, but my mom wanted to order an udon to offset the fishiness of the ahi. I told her it'd be a bad idea since I couldn't imagine the udon would be any good either, but she said "How can they mess up udon? It's an easy dish to make." Turns out, you can mess up udon. The noodles were overcooked and limp. At the end of the meal, I was queasy af and disappointed. It's not a super cheap place either, so we dropped like $120 on an abomination of a meal. Service was good though, and the servers were nice. I will not be coming back due to the food quality and taste, but the service and ambiance were solid.

Sushi Koushi is a tiny spot tucked inside the mall -- the place was pretty clean, nothing too fancy about it. We ordered Green Tea, Unagi Nigiri, Jalapeño Bombs, Dragon Roll, and the Koushi Roll. Let me start by saying -- everything we ordered was pretty amazing! A note: We are a pretty hard family to please when it comes to sushi. So far, we've only had one go-to sushi place for the past five years. This one? Even my daughter loved it. The flavors were beautifully balanced -- nothing was too overpowering. The quantity was more than sufficient for a family of three. Usually at other places, we end up ordering one more roll, but not here! I especially loved the Koushi Roll, which had seared salmon -- absolutely delicious. For the Jalapeño Bombs, we requested they replace the tuna with crab, and it was perfect for our taste buds. Needless to say, my daughter finished most of them! The service was really quick -- we were in and out within 40 minutes, which is impressive for the amount of food we ordered. Overall, a really nice and pleasant experience. Super glad we tried this one out -- highly recommend!

I've only gotten the standard pork katsu so far, but I imagine their other offerings likely elevate things even more. The staff here is amazing. They are nice, friendly, and very efficient at their work. All of them, not just the servers but busers, janitor, cooks, everyone. The owner and managers must be very good at selecting the right staff and training them well. As an example, when I pulled out my credit card to pay, a server was there in literally 3 seconds to present me the bill. The restaurant is very cozy and not too loud. There is often a line here, but don't let that deter you. It moves fast, and people in line seem to be having fun. I've tried the premium cuts like iberico and kurobuta, but honestly didn't find a huge difference in taste. What stands out is the texture--super crispy coating with juicy, tender pork inside. The sides and condiments are well thought out too. I'm a big fan of the tomato & cheese add-on. The curry add on, on the other hand, was too overpowering in flavor and masked the pork's natural flavor. Definitely a Seattle staple and worth checking out if you enjoy pork cutlet!
