What are these red things?! These rolls have never had anything like that in them.

We have been ordering from them for several years, and today it happened. Two rolls out of three ordered were a total mess: they tasted awful, they were different rolls, but they had the same ingriednts inside, with something weird in them, they would fall, everything would come out of it. not sure, may be, they hired a new chief, but got really disappointed and sad. Really hoping that this was just a glitch in a system. Would hate to look for another place... :(

Trapper's is our go-to sushi spot in North Bend. It is located in a strip mall with a Safeway and has PLENTY of parking. There are tv screens on every wall in the restaurant, so you're likely to be able to watch a sports game while you're there if one is playing. We love that for a fixed price, you can have AYCE sushi (and appetizers) at the sushi counter and have a chef prepare fresh rolls for you. Each roll is a FULL roll and serving. Just ordering about three sushi rolls will pay for the AYCE value. The service is always very friendly, and we enjoy the rolls the chefs create. They do have a happy hour with discounted drinks and rolls as well, but the AYCE service is not included.

Casual sushi spot located in a North Bend plaza - I believe it is a chain around Washington. Tried: Appetizers: Edamame ($4), Miso Soup ($4) Rolls: Dragon ($14.95), Tis the Salmon ($16), California & Captain Crunch ($11.5, $15), Jaysin Hand Roll ($9.5) The sushi overall had great flavor, but the portions are small and they are not very neatly made.

I walked in here randomly being in the area to check out the outlets. Service was great the hostess being very welcoming and explaining the different options and what the all you can eat option included. I ended up choosing that and decently priced with appetizers and unlimited rolls. I got some miso soup, dumplings, and the squid salad. I was impressed with the portion and quality of the squid salad. I got 2 rolls and was completely full. One was rainbow and the other was a combo roll with scallops on top. I will say in terms of taste i was not as satisfied. Something about the rice and sauce didn't blend well so I felt it was average flavor. To be fair I know it's all you can eat so I know I wasn't going to get supreme quality sushi. Overall a good place with good service and a good deal as long not coming in with too high expectations.

If you like grocery store sushi and want to sit down in American type brewery, this place is for you. Service wasn't welcoming, menu is weird with sushi and American food items and I think I saw beer on tap?? I ordered only one spicy tuna roll and it was not good. So much rice, and not spicy at all. Only ate a few pieces because it just wasn't worth it.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated rather quickly. Within 10 minutes of being seated, the place became packed. Guests were waiting outside for seats to open. As far as I could see, there was only 1 young man servicing all the tables. There definitely didn't seem to be enough service for a wall to wall packed eatery. The rolls were delicious. It was nice to see different t types of sauce on roll, such as chili sauce, teriyaki sauce, and Covington sauce. I was confused that there was no Eel sauce. My favorite was the Volcano roll. I should have ordered 2 of those. I give 3 stars for the service. It was not the waiters fault. He was alone. We never received refills on drinks. When you pay $3.95 for a Coke, you should at least get 1 refill.

The food is delicious, but all the time with three sets, the restaurant puts only 1 wasabi and ginger, for each set I choose an additional wasabi and ginger, but for the two of us they bring only this small plastic mini container. This is too little for 3 rolls for two. I wouldn't give such a low rating if it was only once, but since it's constant, I give 2 stars.

They never picked up my old dishes. Long after I was finished.

Food was Fantastic! Service, not the BEST. Kinda lazy Sunday staff. Rude sushi maker guy. No Personality. Ambiance is good and clean. Staff has way Too much focus on the TV if you ask me.

In the Asian section, had things that you may not normally see in a buffet (pigs feet!). Also there was a Mongolian grille where you could choose meat and veggies, and they cook it for you. Alcoholic drinks were in addition to the price, but pretty reasonable. (A glass of wine was $7. ) Servers were attentive and tried hard to provide good service. All in all, a nice experience.

For the price, the food was average. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing stood out either. What really impacted our experience was the service toward the end of our visit. Our reservation started at 5:45 PM, and we had until 7:45 PM. However, around 7:15 PM, a waitress began repeatedly staring at our table, making it feel like we were being rushed out before our allotted time was up. We were celebrating a birthday and hadn't even finished dessert, but the atmosphere became uncomfortable enough that we decided to leave early. Guests should be able to enjoy their full dining time without feeling pressured to leave. Overall, the experience didn't justify the cost, and unfortunately we wouldn't return.

It's not super fancy, but it's comfortable and perfect for a casual meal. It can get a bit busy and seating is somewhat limited during peak hours, but that just shows how popular it is. I often dine at mom-and-pop local places seeking neighborhood gems that are worth the drive, as…read moreopposed to ones that are 'good' because it is near you. Zushi Sushi is somewhere in between. I would not say to a Seattle person to purposely drive there. But I will say to folks nearby that it's a worthy restaurant. The place is neat and tidy, not showing its age yet, even though I know it has been opened for years. The service is swift and to-the-point. I am fairly certain this place is Japanese owned. Prices are fairly reasonable without the common 'Eastside tax'. I often find older restaurants to be more reasonably prices due to lower overhead. The Food: Avocado Bomb, $10 - 3.5 Stars Other than a bit too covered with tempura bits, this dish met expectations. The price matches what I have seen in Seattle. Salmon Belly (Sake Toro) Nigiri, $7 - 4.5 Stars Good cut and good white fatty stripes for sake toro. Thumbs up. Lion King, $15 - 4 Stars Menu: California with seared salmon on top and parmesan aioli, unagi sauce, scallion With these type of specialty rolls, presentation is as important as the ingredients, combination, and creativity. This roll as the best out of the three we ordered. Zushi Flower, $19 - 3 Stars Menu: Shrimp tempura, avocado, spicy tuna with seared salmon on top, spicy mayo, unagi sauce, parmesan aioli, and kaiware, red tobiko on top This specialty roll did not at all look like the photo. At $19, it's the most expensive amongst their rolls. Disappointing. The ingredients and taste were fine. It didn't warrant the Zushi namesake, and I don't see 'flower' in its presentation. Cherry Blossom, $15 - 2.5 Stars Menu: salmon, avocado, cucumber, and tuna on top This roll was the most 'man-handled' looking roll amongst the three we ordered. It also did not look like the photo. In one of the pieces, I spitted out a brown piece of something. It turned out to be the tip of the avocado. They graciously offered to take it off the check or make a new roll. Grilled Hamachi Kama, $14 - 2 Stars This was a very dull and boring hamachi kama. Not much seasoning, not much sear, the skin is not crispy, yet the fish is overcooked to the point of being dense. Tempura Oreo, freebie We were gifted a tempura Oreo. Interesting and pretty, but not something I would order. No rating. I wish Yelp would do half stars. I think they are a solid 3.5 Stars.
