I was working in Bonham and looking for a good local restaurant. This establishment was friendly and very customer oriented. I had a burger with bacon that was fresh and cooked perfectly. We drove into the area to hike at Bonham State Park and got pretty hungry so decided to look for local food. They had great reviews so we tried it and it was delicious! They have a variety of burgers I don't see in many other places. We had the Sirracha Bacon Cheddar and Smoky Deluxe. Our boys had their original (can't remember what it was called). We just moved into town and this is the best bother place we've come across in a long time. The withers are excellent and big! Their prices are pretty good too. They only accept cash, but they have an ATM on site, so they got ya covered. The owner is friendly, treats ya like family, and has some good stories to tell. I am an avid connoisseur of good Hamburgers. In all of my travels in Texas, outside of Texas, and even in other countries there is no Hamburger that I have eaten that tops an Old School with Bacon. They even have decent chicken and are super creative when it comes to sauces. I have never had a bad visit, they make my food exactly how I tell them to and I have never had to get them to remake my order because they get it right the first time, every the time. I remember this place when it first opened, they have come so far and made the Community of Bonham proud. I asked one of the attendees where the best greasy burger was to be found and I was directed to this gem of a spot Muddbones!!! OMJeezus! I think this place may give Keller's a run for its money! You order the Original which is the basic burger and then the magic goes from there. I got bacon, cheese, and jalapenos on my burger. My Dad had the original. They don't serve fries but you can get your choice of chips and soda. When I tell you every morsel of that burger disappeared, there wasn't a crumb to be found! We washed it down with Dr. Pepper! Of course what else would we drink? If you are in the area, stop here and enjoy the atmosphere. It's quiet because people are too busy eating ultra-delicious burgers!! This is by far the way to go for food in the Bonham, Texas. Service is always fast, and Kyle is probably the funniest host in Fannin county. The burgers are glorious, and they are fair priced. Maybe even cheaper than they're worth. For seven dollars you'll have a gourmet burger, chips, and a drink and it's one of the best in Texas.
