This is a hidden local gem in a small city that has limited food options. But I can honestly say that I love coming here. The staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. The burgers remind me of the backyard summer burgers that you would eat at home or at a friends bbq. I gave them four stars because they don't serve fries but their burgers are huge and juicy. Wow! We searched Yelp for a place to eat while driving through Bonham. The parking lot was full which was a good indicator of the food. I ordered an Old School with bacon and cheese. It was delicious and gave my cholesterol medicine a run for the money. The only thing that I would add to the menu is fries and onion rings. Great food, service, and people! read more

Walk through the door for the biggest Texas size greeting ever! Order the fried pickles, not just on order but two, or you'll be fighting over who gets the last one. Don't blink as you are looking for this burger place or you will miss it. Basically a shack right off the road. Plenty of parking on gravel lot. Kind of "country" inside with tables for sitting outside. Good part of the charm is cheery, folksy order taker., Burgers are pretty good and a good size. Bag of chips and soda/water come with the meal. I WILL come back as this place offers not the "best" but damn tasty burgers and places like this obviously sole proprietorship around America are disappearing quickly. The customer service was outstanding. Very friendly when we placed our order. We ordered two cheeseburgers and a grilled cheese. The taste was good but my hamburger patty was cooked too done for my taste, the edges were black and crispy. But overall it was a good burger. The sandwiches came with a bag of chips and a can soda which was really cold. The building is small and all the tables were full but it was a busy lunch hour. It's cash only but they have an ATM machine inside. They have a single occupant bathroom that you have to go back outside and through another door that takes you through the kitchen. It was clean and well stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. Overall, I would recommend this burger place when in Bonham. read more

I ate there just last week for the first time and Wow! I got the mushroom and Swiss burger and I've never had better! The bun was perfectly toasted and the burger was perfect. Lots of mushrooms. This place has great burgers! This place has great burgers if you eat them fresh! They do not reheat well at all but when you are there, you will enjoy the taste. The meat has the right amount of char, fresh vegetables (not sure if they chose GMO free though- part of a problem if they didn't). What would be their "Number 1" is called an Old School. They have good mushroom burgers but I have not verified if it's locally grown, fresh or out of a can yet. More on that later. The only complaint I personally have is that if you want to be known for your burgers, you should also have a signature French fry. read more

This place is a gem in Bonham! Inside it's decorated with various Muddbones photos and memorabilia, lots of fun stuff to look at on the walls. They've got some free arcade games too which is awesome. I've stopped there a couple times after work and their burgers really hit the spot! I've tried the Muddy Klucker chicken sandwich and the Sriracha Bacon Cheddar burger, both were a great meal! I got the smoked jalapeno burger with bacon, chips and a drink for $8.75. Unbelievable! This place is a must try destination.
