Cooked crawfish eating a snail found in bag.

After buying 5lbs of crawfish we found a giant snail in our food bag. While the crawfish tasted great, and it was most likely boiled for safety that's kinda gross. Called the manager on my shell phone, but was only offered more crawfish. We almost slugged it out.

Probably the best seasoning crawfish and shrimp I had in the area!! Will definitely be back!!!!

Tried them for the first time yesterday and we are going to be the best of friends this crawfish season... seasoned perfectly and delivered hot and fresh... Couldn't ask for anything else except to have someone peel em and feed em to me... I knew when we pulled up and I smelled the boil I was going to enjoy myself...my only negative was the corn on the cob it's a sweet corn and I don't do the sweet with my boil jus not a good combo for me... but everything else delicious.... ND The atmosphere quite nice it's tucked off behind a fee buildings and could be easily missed... I honestly thought it was a pottery shop because it's behind a plant store but not the case and so worth the try...

Awesome crawfish, they were seasoned perfect and the sausage, corn, and potatoes that came with it were all great! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was for the lack of seating in the inside, in cold or rainy weather you probably won't have seat

Unfortunately, the hostess indicated that the restaurant doesn't allow dine-in guests one hour before closing. I proceeded to go with the takeout option instead. At this restaurant, daily specials are offered. Since I came on a Thursday, I opted for the seafood boil deal that came with 1 lb of snow crab legs, 1/2 lb of shrimp, corn, and red potatoes. I customized the flavor as the "Mighty Special" - Cajun, Lemon Pepper and Garlic Butter all combined. For the spicy level, I chose "Hot." The total was only $36.99! This was such a steal, especially since the seafood boil bag was generous. When trying it, it was honestly so flavorful and palatable. The sauce literally made the crab legs, shrimp, corn, and potatoes beyond tasty. Mighty Crab serves satisfying seafood boils with mouthwatering bold flavors! This spot is definitely worth paying a visit to.

I called in my order of two bowls of steamed white rice, a half a pound of sausage, and 3 corn on the Cobb. The corn on the Cobb is currently advertised at $3.00 on the website. However the agent informed me that the price has changed and it was now $3.50 and she said this was an incredible amount of anger and attitude. I informed her that the restaurant was suppose to sell at the advertised price but that I would speak to someone about it later and as soon as I said that it sounded like she slammed down the phone. I heard nothing. I ended up calling back and she answered and before I could say anything she said someone else 'would deal with me'. When the other woman came to the phone I started to give my order and I mentioned the advertised price showed $3.00 and she cut me off and said 'no one would be honoring the price on the website'. As I was speaking to her the other female was in the background yelling and insulting me. I could hear her very well. I mentioned to the woman that I could hear her and she cut me off again and told me in so many words she 'didnt have time to address that and for me to continue with the order". I finished my order and she said one of the part owners was inside the restaurant but that the owners 'never spoke with customers' and "he's not going to discount anything for you'. WOW... Talk about being incredibly rude. I like the food here but the way they handled the price being different on the website was just to ignore it and go off on the customer who brought it to their attention.

The restaurant has a formal setting, but with a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. We started with some drinks and a wedge salad. Portions are large but they don't skimp on quality. After a successful purchase and a hemorrhaging from my credit card, we opted to celebrate the occasion with a meal. And Lo and behold Table 100 was just across the street from where we were. Ambiance 4 Stars - as you walk into the establishment, you are transported back where the warm wood interior, cozy white table cloth tables or booths, high end bar drinks, and classy servers in their white or black attire are waiting to serve you. There plenty of tables and booths to seat a plentiful of patrons. And if you need a little bit more private, you can request a private room depending how many are in the party. 4.5 Stars - Service: our server, Andrew was wonderful, professional and has a great sense of humor. We bantered throughout our dinner but the conversation never crossed over to make anyone uncomfortable. He was observant of our needs and when to bring our next course. Our glasses stayed full with our beverage. 4.25 Stars - Food We ordered from the dinner menu instead of lunch due to our timing at 3:00. Let's just call it "Linner". Haha. 4 Stars - Grilled Swordfish- My wife ordered the dish and came with a decent size grilled swordfish fish, sauté spinach, creamed mash potatoes, and a beurre blanc sauce (lemon, butter and dry white wine). The swordfish was thick and moist; not dry at all. The beurre blanc balanced the bland spinach and the seasoned swordfish. The creamed potatoes were creamy, buttery's and not too salty. 3.75 Stars - Pan seared Redfish with cube fried potatoes, sauté green beans, beurre blanc sauce and top w a Chilean tomato salsa. The redfish was moist and tasty but I wish it had a little bit seared on it for a crunchy factor. The cubed potatoes were good but nothing to write about. The fresh sauté green beans could have a bit more garlic butter. 3.5 Stars Side dish: Deep Fried Brussel Sprouts. Hot, steamy and fresh. Has a slight crunch on the exterior leaves and was seasoned w a sprinkle of salt. 3.75 Dessert: Crème Brûlée and coffee. The crème brûlée crust was crunchy and the vanilla egg custard was good and smooth. It would have been better was a scoop of fresh whipped cream to go with the fresh fruit and crunchy layer. 5 Stars - French pressed Italian coffee. The coffee was a highlight of the dessert. It was hot, fresh, and strong. Just like an Italian coffee should be. It was between an espresso and caffe' Americano. Our, server, Andrew did a wonderful job on the coffee! I definitely recommend this place and we will be back. Don't forget to ask for Andrew, if he is available.

You get these magical 73º days in March and April (and maybe even May), fully understanding you are going to have to pay the piper come June, July, and August. But while you have them, you treasure them. The sun shines bright, but with warm welcome, not a glaring intensity. The cool breeze carries the scent of red maples, azaleas, dogwood, redbud, Yoshino Cherry trees, and, sweetest of them all, honeysuckle. The sky is a tropical blue, like you might see sitting on some tropical island with a name you struggle to pronounce. So why would you spend a Saturday afternoon like this inside, when you can sit outside, looking at the backwaters, and enjoying a delicious meal? This is my 4th trip to Backwater. Lunch, brunch, dinner, and now lunch again. So far, they never disappoint. It is early in the crawfish season, so my expectations are not high, but Backwater delivered just the same. Their weight scales are generous and their seasoning is excellent. The shrimp? Well, they are normally my 2nd choice behind crawfish, but these reds are big and succulent and juicy. Some of the best I have had. The beer selection is excellent and served icy cold, which is a good thing, because the potatoes and corn will burn your lips (if you aren't "from here", that is a good thing). But if you don't indulge, no worries...the sweet tea would make your Mama proud. And the ambience? Well, what can I say? Perfect. I can't believe it has taken this long for somebody to make use of the beautiful backwaters of the Reservoir. It is prime "Mississippi" and the owners are genius and clearly willing to put in a massive amount of work and effort to make eating at Backwater Grill a true Mississippi experience. If you are in the area, or even if you have to drive to get here, do yourself a favor: visit Backwater Grill. Next visit, I'm trying trying a burger for sure.

We enjoyed watching the wildlife and chatting. Once seated, we waited over 10 minutes for a server to stop by and finally went inside to ask for someone to help our table. A manager came out to take our drink orders. The kids' sodas came out quickly, but we waited and waited for bar drinks and two Shirley Temples. Food came quickly once ordered, and the aforementioned drinks didn't come out until after the food was served. The drinks and food themselves were quite good. If the service had hit the same level, it would have been a better experience.

We had heard of Georgia Blue & staying in the hotel across the street was thee perfect excuse. Husband ordered the Seafood Linguine & I had the Pot Roast Poboy. Although the crawfish tasted like the ocean air on a blustery day - the meal itself, he devoured. Let's talk Pot Roast. The picture literally made my mouth water. I have a dental issues so I ordered the Onions, Mushrooms & Gravy OTS. (My side was Mac&Cheese.) Well, I had to call the store bc neither the gravy OR the Mac&cheese made it to our hotel. Of course I sent hubby back for the gravy but by the time I realized the Mac&cheese was missing, hubby was already eating. I opted to just call to make them aware of the missing order items. According to the manager in the phone Mac&Cheese wasn't even on the ticket yet it's printed AND CHARGED on our receipt. I decided to just try & enjoy the meal. 4 bites. FOUR. The roast was SOOOOO salty. I thought it was the gravy so I kept the sandwich for later and tried to eat it NOT THE GRAVY. It wasn't the gravy at all. I had hubby try it and he spit out the 1st bite. The salt was overpowering. Unbelievably overpowering. Our bill was $55 ish & it was the worst meal we have had here in Mississippi. The 2 star was specifically for the linguine. Besides the crawfish- perfection.
