Stumbled across this spot actually searching on Yelp again...I love Yelp...and I knew this was…read morewhere I was eating. As pictured, there is a little bit of Detroit decor around the small restaurant. Walk in, order at the counter and wait for it to be brought to you. There is very little seating, I think I counted like 9 tables. I am a little confused as to if it is authentic to Detroit food, as I saw a big bottle of Tony Chacherie's seasoning in the kitchen which is sprinkled on the fries and probably seasoning for the burgers as well. I'm not sure. Woman was super nice, said they'd been open 9 1/2 years with her working there 9 of the years. The owner is from Detroit she told us, but the restaurant definitely lacked anything that would make me personally feel like I were in Detroit. She told us the patties were 8 ounces and for some reason I thought that was tiny, leading me to get the Willie Mack Triple Burger. The burger is indeed not tiny, but ginormous. Very tasty, hot and fresh, there is cheese on every slice and the salad is underneath all the patties. Mayo, mustard and ketchup as well. Fries were great, with Tony's seasoning of course, the burger was incredible, authentic Detroit or not it was very good. My mom got the single burger with fries and we both got drinks leading the total to $30. The drink machine was out, so the lady gave us cans of coke, and I requested sprite so she had a 2 liter of sprite??? ‍ She gave me a cup and told me I can have as many refills as I wanted as well as coke for my mom. It was weird, but the woman made the restaurant feel very homey which I really appreciated. It was a great experience, the lady was incredibly nice, the food was amazing, not sure how authentic to Detroit it is, but I like this place.

After reading some poor reviews, we were initially nervous about trying the Wingstop in Flowood…read more decided to give it a try when we saw it was well staffed on a Sunday night. Our order was promptly taken when we entered and Megan helped us decide which flavors suited us best. She even got us a sample of the flavor we were questioning. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. We will be back!

The wife & I were hankering for some fried chicken. My Yelp search revealed the recently…read moreconstructed Bojangles on Hwy 80 does not serve chicken with a bone in it, (what!?!) the KFC in Brandon will never see my dollars again & Popeyes, I'm just tired of that chicken. Wing stop kept catching my eye, even though it had poor reviews... I am so glad, we didn't let the negative Nellie reviews influence us - our meal, service & restaurant quality was fantastic! Megan took our order & went out of her way to ensure we got what we wanted (even a few boneless pieces & various sauces to try!) . We split a 30pc family order, planning on some leftovers, we ate them... all of them - don't judge! Flavors: honey sriracha, mango habanero, Buffalo/regular hot & a dry "sprinkle-on" flavor (sorry, can't recall all the names). Chicken was cooked perfectly juicy, came out quickly, the sauce was on point and the restaurant itself was clean & well maintained with polite staff (& patrons)!! Based on my visit, this Wing Stop is inappropriately underrated! It deserves another chance for anyone who gave a negative review & deserves a "first-time visit" from anyone on the fence about going. Megan indicated the restaurant was under new ownership or management, I can't recall which, so I assume it's this switch that has caused the change. Kudos to you owner/manager - it shows & my wife & I will be back!

Wings were overcooked. Tasted like I was chewing shoe leather, just with sauce on it. After sending…read morethe first order back, the second order was just as bad. Then our service started getting bad at the bar. We have eaten here half a dozen times, this is the first time this has happened. And to top it off, they didn't offer to adjust our bill.....this is when you do a big ZERO tip! This manager Ricky Romines contacted me and made this right with me and my husband by inviting us back and comping our lunch plus drinks. Thank you for Buffalo Wild Wings. They were cooked just fine this time!

My husband and I ordered 30 wings, 20 Hot and 10 Buffalo. When our food was brought out, all 30…read morewings were piled together on one plate. At the time, we did not think much of it and assumed the server would help clarify if needed. Instead, the response was dismissive, and we were told "whatever." Because the two sauces are very similar in color, separating them ourselves was nearly impossible. Despite our best effort, a Hot wing ended up mixed in with the Buffalo wings. After eating one Buffalo wing with no issue, I unknowingly ate a Hot wing next and immediately experienced extreme discomfort. At that point, my meal was effectively ruined, and I stopped eating altogether. When my husband brought this to the server's attention, I was told that it was my fault. Without being asked, the server then involved the manager, who reiterated that it was also my fault and suggested that we ordered incorrectly. This response was both frustrating and disappointing. This situation could have been resolved easily had the wings been properly separated or clearly labeled, which I believe is a reasonable and common expectation when ordering multiple flavors. The issue was not the mistake itself, but the lack of accountability and the decision to place blame on the customer rather than acknowledge a service oversight. Had the staff shown even minimal concern or ownership, this would not have escalated into such a negative experience. Instead, I left feeling dismissed, blamed, and unheard.
