Updating my review because MSI was very proactive in making up for the unfortunate situation I was in. The VP reached out to me personally to find out what happened and afterwards he made every effort to help me find a resolution. He was very responsive and it showed that he truly cared about his customers and his business. I think very highly of people who take responsibility and put their customers before profits. I would recommend visiting their beautiful showroom in Hayward. After my followup experience with MSI, I would say that you can shop with confidence due to the exceptional customer service from the top down. read more

Was told the warehouse opens at 7am. I have had my guys there since 7am to pickup an order. What a waste of my time for them to give inaccurate information. read more

Great, large selection of slabs and product. Specifically, their sales associate MJ was VERY helpful. MJ was knowledgeable, friendly and helped us solve our problem quickly and easily - all while being pleasant and patient with us. Would definitely recommend working with him if selecting slabs. read more

I know people are so busy, when they have a great experience, they don't always take the time to write about it. I had a wonderful experience with MSI stone and Ms. Maria Matthews, who assisted me. I have remodeled nearly a dozen homes, and Maria was an incredible standout in terms of her knowledge, followup, and her ability to zero in what I was looking for. I've met with her several times, and I've also worked with other suppliers while attempting to locate a stone for this project. She consistently followed up with me without pestering, and professionally let me know she was available; she was patient and delightful. I thought their selection was excellent as well..it's a tough and expensive decision to pick out stone for your home; I had a great experience with this company. read more

Nice friendly staff. Special thanks to Anthony Butler. He made sure all my precious tile was intact and I had the correct amount of boxes. 10 stars for him read more

Always enjoy this showroom. People are very helpful and got samples for me that I requested. I will come back!

We're remodeling our bathroom & chose MSI Durban white for our bathroom walls & partial shower walls. We decided to go to MSI in Hayward to get ideas for the shower floor and main shower wall. It was our lucky day when we got the opportunity to have MJ @ MSI work with us. He was very helpful, courteous and loved the ideas he suggested. I can't wait to see the finished bathroom once it's been completed. Thanks again MJ!! read more

Everything about MSI is impeccable. The staff is kind and knowledgable. The warehouse, selection, and array of styles and mind boggling and top quality. The showroom is spacious, comfortable and well organized. Karina helped us and she was extremely well informed, patient, kind and fun! Basically if you are shopping for quartz, marble, granite or quartzite you are crazy if you don't come here first. read more

Great selection of tiles and slabs. Some of the best slabs I have ever seen - many are works of art. Helpful staff.

I'm posting a 5 star plus specifically for Rita Rose. She is awesome!!! We went into this mega sized showroom and immediately became overwhelmed. They have such a vast inventory and it's really difficult for a novice to navigate around and make proper choices. They mainly cater to industry professionals. I started to become frustrated and almost walked out. Rita who was working at the desk next to us immediately jumped in. She took control of the situation and reassured us. Within 15 minutes, she helped us design the most beautiful combination of finishes we could imagine at a price we could afford. I've reached out to her 3 additional times with questions and she always responds kindly. I can't wait to show off our new bathroom! Thanks again for everything. read more

I was greeted very warmly, the rep walked me and showed and explained the items and various options. Thank you

Nothing but errors and delays in delivery from this company. Ordered our counter tops and backsplash tiles from here and charged for shipping and can't deliver on time! In turn lots of wasted time and money with my contractors. Beware! read more

We were very surprised when we walked into the show room not expecting it to look amazing. MSI customer service team was friendly and knowledgeable about the product. We highly recommend anyone doing a kitchen or bathroom renovation to take the short drive and see for yourself the selection they have to offer . read more

This was my third visit to MSI and every time I've had a great experience. Everyone has been helpful and accommodating. I'm going back to get a marble slab soon. Love the place and the people! read more

This was a very disappointing experience. Once registered I was told I could browse. I browsed and had questions, having not seen what I was looking for. Not one staff member acknowledged me. Not one even gave me eye contact. It ended up being a waste of my time. I'll go elsewhere. Plenty of stone & slab options with better customer service. read more

The MSI staff for very helpful, patient, and spent the time to answer all our questions concerning quartz countertops and the available options between pre-fab, island, and slab for our project. This warehouse is in a safe location, is very clean, and has a huge inventory. Highly recommend! read more

Excellent follow-up and service! Visited their showroom and was blown away with the size, cleanliness and the friendly people. Found what we wanted, contacted our local distributor and made the purchase. Went to pick it up and found that some of the order was back ordered, to be available in a few weeks. I called several times to check and found that they tracked the delay to a container being held at customs. Once the container was released, they called as soon as it arrived and I picked it up. They follow-up on meeting their customers requests and do it with a smile. Give them a try! read more

This place is a mess unorganized. First I came and selected the tiles I wanted and then they asked if I had an account I said no I'll buy it cash they said no you need an account to purchase from us. I said well ok. I filled out all the required documents then next thing you know they said it will be approved in 48 hours and I called 48 hours later.... they said sir we need to send it to our corporate office and will take another day called next day and they had no clue who I was. Any how 2 weeks later they finally approved my account came into the show room placed the order purchased the order they said they will be here from Orange County on Wednesday.... Wednesday came along I came here to pick them up they first couldn't find my account in the system and showed them my receipt and they said it hasn't even left from the ware house yet. I said you guys had told me it will be here today what's this. Now they said it will be here Friday. My crew was waiting for these tiles so they can Instal. These people are horrible I will never come here again. read more

Very nice showroom and very good service from the salers ! Very helpful with samples ! Very pleased with my visit there !

Update: Immediately after I posted my first review, I finally heard from a more conscientious person at MS International, Steve Wantland, Sales Director, who arranged for me to get a refund for the restocking fee. So I'm upgrading my review to three stars for his dedication. But the rest of their sales team need some serious customer relations training as of 2017. read more

Adding to my original review- I was contacted by MSI after my original review and they made every effort to ensure I was able to get the product that I needed. The countertops look great in my kitchen. I'd like to thank Sunil and his team at MSI for their dedication to customer satisfaction. read more

Nice product selection, but I've been to this place several times and they have very poor service. There is no one to greet you when you get in, and you are forced as a customer to wander around with no help. Their good product selection and easy freeway access earns them two stars, but they get no additional stars due to their bad service - 2 stars total. read more

The materials from this supplier are top quality. They have an amazing showroom and friendly staff. I picked up the marble floor tile myself and the will call staff were super friendly and helpful. The only catch to buying material from MSI is that you need to find a retailer through which you order. It seems many home materials retailers around the area do business with MSI. If you need a recommendation I suggest Home Smart in Fremont (for which I've written a Yelp review as well). read more

This was our first visit this weekend as suggested by our kitchen granite fabricator. We were greeted by several very nice people which guided us through our initial visit sign-in process. Thereafter, cordially escorted to the right area for the products we were interested in viewing. We were asked several times by employees if we needed any additional help. Upon determining which slabs of Quartzite we had interest in viewing and wanting to place a hold in order for our contractor to purchase, we were introduced to Rita. Rita was a total rockstar.....I can't say enough....very outgoing, helpful (went out of her way to find us sequenced slabs we didn't think existed in the warehouse)....low and behold, she found it to the delight of my wife. We are very thankful for her help and providing a great shopping experience at MS. Based upon her help and that interaction, it would be a no-brainer to return again for future purchases. read more

They have a good selection but you are on your own if you don't go with your granite guy. They won't discuss anything with you. I drove all the way from Cupertino to Hayward only to get a glimpse of the granites on display and I had no clue how much they cost and what does it take to order. It was such a waste of time. read more

What amazing service and tile! Rita was able to help us with everything we needed and with an great attitude also. I really appreciate the quality of the product and the even more amazing quality of service. I'll be back soon to pick out our Granite! read more

I was interested in buying Quartz Countertop for my kitchen remodel and went to MSI to see their selection after seeing their website. They have a large selection to chose from and found several that I liked. I was disappointed when I learned that they would not quote me a price for the stone and I would have to go through a retailer since they don't sale to the public. Pricing was one my major goals in going to MSI show room. read more

Great first visit! Our contractor sent us to MSI to select stone and tile for a master bath remodel. The showroom is beautiful and the staff is friendly and attentive. Nick helped us select our porcelain tile and accompanying quartz, and provided a lot of helpful information and advice. Here's hoping we have the same great experience when it comes to ordering and delivery, but so far so good! read more

Karina Davis CSR Showroom Sales, outstanding and courteous. With her help we found what we need and reserved the items email our fabricator The Granite Encounter LLC and complete the order We will recommend MS International to our friends and relatives read more

It's a good showroom but confusing. As noted, you cannot buy from them. But they also don't sell to contractors. They only sell to stores on their list and maybe fabricators. So working with them on slabs might be easy because you have a fabricator, but working with them on tile is complicated. And they don't explain that to you. So it took my poor contractor over an hour to find a tile store on their list that he works with and to order the tile for my bathroom. And then they kept telling him that they didn't have my tile and I had to go with another color. But it is right there on the wall of samples!! Seemed unnecessarily complicated. read more

5 Stars all the way.  Great shopping experience for our Kitchen/bathroom remodel project. One of the best showrooms around and the customer service was very attentive.  Went to other companies around the bay area and this was the best experience by far. read more

Don't go there. It is a show room for contractors only. Not available for public. They don't list prices nor tell you the price even you ask unless you bring your contractor. A piece can be 1000 dollars or 5000 dollars but no price just so hard to shop. Don't waste time. read more

Staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I just Registered when I walked in, examined slabs without interruption, great stock and lots of beautiful slabs of granite and marble. Great prices. Even had a soda "on them"! Thank you for your kind hospitality! read more

Great showroom! Very efficiently run from the time we walked in. Teresa was extremely helpful in answering our questions and providing great alternatives products to look at to meet our project requirements. Her questions really helped us refine our requirements while keeping the overall look and costs in mind. It was worth the drive to Hayward! read more

I had a very unfortunate experience with this business. I needed to replace some stone in the middle of a project. My whole project was on hold until I found more stone. Needless to say, I was a very motivated buyer. A man name BRETT helped me, and it was possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. He was so rude, unhelpful and dismissive. It was as if he wasn't in the business of selling stone. Even though they had the stone I wanted, I went to IRG in Dublin instead. The experience was 100 % better. They were incredibly helpful and nice. I hope MS International recognizes that Brett is a liability. They had some nice stone, but it is an expensive purchase and good customer service goes a long way. read more

So-so customer service when you are selecting stone, & worst customer service when trying to make a return. Rachel the sales manager is incredibly mean and demeaning when you attempt to find a solution to a purchase you are dissatisfied with. They only sell to wholesalers/stone fabricators and therefore you are not their customer even though you select the product and have to live with it indefinitely. They also don't tell you about their return policy on stone tile, nor will they allow you to see the range of tile colors, but expect you to buy after looking at 3 or 4 tiles. Be sure you are in love with whatever you select, because dealing with a return with these people is pure torture. read more

Our experience with MS International (MSI) was good. They allowed us to see a sampling of tiles in pallets in their Hayward warehouse when a tile retailer referred us to them. We were trying to match travertine tiles as closely as I could for a home repair job--not easy or possible to do. As a wholesaler, MSI has a wider selection of tiles in stock than samples displayed by most retailers. The people who helped us on different occasions pulled tiles from different palettes for us to look at. which was very helpful to us. read more

Great experience at MSI. Purchased two granite slabs and a medallion for our kitchen remodel. Great service - thanks Jason and Roy! - and unbelievable selection. We picked several slab types and they laid them out so we could see them all. This is where all the other places get their stuff. We saw trucks from multiple tile and marble retailers in their yard. If you already have your fabricator picked out, avoid the retail hike and buy where everyone else buys. We will be back when we do our bathroom. read more

HUGE selection of slabs and tile. Very helpful staff, and they saved our info from prior visits. Looking at lots of slabs can be bit mind numbing, but this place was spacious which helps offset slab fatigue. :-) good coffee too read more

Update - After i posted my previous review, i was immediately contacted by MSI representative, who were very earnest in resolving my issue as soon as possible. Pooja, Stacy, Steve and Maria are some of the representatives who i interacted with and made the experience from there on smooth and hassle free. Thank you! I did end up placing an order for a prefabricated granite with them. Though front-desk was always giving us the response that they cannot deal directly with home-owners, and dont bend the rule-book even a little, the back-end of MSI is super-efficient and works with you to cater to your needs. read more
