Working with Oscar was the best experience anyone can ask for! Before coming across Oscar's business my husband and I met with a bunch of different contractors to inquire about our options on a flooring project. We met some really sketchy contractors that explained to us their process and because my husband and I did our research we knew their process cut a lot of corners. We definitely didn't want that. We wanted the project to be done properly and safely. We were losing hope until we came across Floors 4 less in Hayward. My husband and I met Oscar at his where he had all types of flooring samples, he was very helpful at providing us with all the different options and pricing. He really took the time to help us decide what would work best for our new home. My husband and I recently purchased a home and there were 5 different flooring throughout the house that did not match. Our first floor living room had engineered tan hardwoods, our kitchen/ half bath had this brownish marble, the stairs were carpet, the 2nd floor landing/loft was the same engineered tan hardwood as the 1st floor. One of the bedrooms had a gray fake tile, then the other 3 bedrooms had really red cherry oak hardwoods. It was horrible. The different floorings made the house look really small, dark, old and outdated. Oscar and his guys ripped out all the floorings throughout the whole house and replaced it with a very nice light grayish hardwood floors. We also had a curved staircase in which the curve took up about a feet of space behind it that we couldn't really use. We wanted a more open concept space so we had Oscar cut out the curve to straighten our staircase. He then replaced the whole staircase with wooden planks with white risers. Oscar and his guys are very friendly, efficient, professional and went above and beyond for my husband and I. With all of their help our new home went from small, dark, old and outdated to now a very modern, bright, open space. My husband and I couldn't be more happier with the great work Oscar and his guys did. Oscar came out the same day to give us a quote. He was very communicative and honest when looking at her large house, and gave us a good price. What he didn't charge us for was putting some trim around a new sliding glass door that we didn't know how to do ourselves, and helped us move a china hutch that was too big, heavy and awkward for us three girls. Class act. He also was helpful when picking a carpet color, and I'm glad we went with his choice- I hear lots of the prospective buyers mention how nice the carpet is and how they like the color. He placed the hardwood floors and painted inside, and it looks fabulous!!! So, I decided to engage him to paint and install the floors for my dental practice. The whole experience was great because, Henry, the lead man who initially met me to give me a quote, delivered what he said he was going to deliver, and was VERY polite to me and the other contractors we worked with. Henry's helping men were so kind and hard working. The end result was great floors and painted walls. I have had so many patients comment on the good looking floors. Henry had me look over the job after it was done and catered to all my requests with a smile and good attitude. I have always been weary of contractors because of other people's bad experiences with them. This contractor is honest, trustworthy, and does GREAT work. I had another doctor who knows a lot about remodeling comment on the good work that was done on my dental practice. This other doctor pointed out things that showed the job was done well. I didn't know about those things until this doctor pointed them out.
