Working with Oscar to get our floors done was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish, he was professional, incredibly kind, and a great communicator--he even sent us video updates throughout the entire process so we knew exactly what was happening. We really appreciated how straightforward and honest he was with his advice. To make matters worse, we accidentally spilled degreaser on our brand-new floors just a day after they were finished! We were panicking, but we texted Oscar immediately. He responded quickly, calmed us down, and assured us it would be no problem to fix. He came by the very next day, had the floor looking brand new in under an hour, and he wouldn't even let us pay him for the extra work. Oscar truly goes above and beyond for his clients. If you need someone who does beautiful work and actually cares about the end result (and the people he works with!), look no further. We can't recommend him highly enough! read more

Oscar and his team did a fantastic job refinishing old pine flooring of our house. He was patient through the process of us finding the right stain for the floor and we went with the low voc water based natural stain, as he recommended originally. His crew is very experienced and did a fantastic job stain matching some off color bad patch work someone did before. Overall will highly recommend! read more

Needed a patch job done on our floor for a floor furnace that had been removed. Oscar and Pablo came out 3 times to sand and restain the floor until they got the color just right. Oscar did a great job refinishing my floors. The project hit some delays due to bad weather, and I appreciated how Oscar took extra care not to stain or seal the floors during high indoor humidity. Instead of rushing the job, he waited until it was the proper time to add additional coats, even if it meant waiting extra days. He also came back to do some touch ups after the job was completed. Oscar is very friendly, you can tell how much he cares about his work when you first meet him. I recommend contacting him if you are considering refinishing your hardwood floors. read more

We recently needed to change flooring in the kitchen due to water damage. We were guided easily by the staff at Premier to the best products etc. and we also decided to replace carpeting in the whole house. The installers for both floor and carpeting were the best. They were efficient and finished in record time for what they had to do, rip up flooring and carpeting and install all in one day. The carpet installers moved the large furniture with ease and were careful. My husband, who never compliments anyone, wanted to make sure I let the office staff know how impressed he was with the work ethic of these gentlemen. We are over joyed with our new flooring and carpeting. If we could award 10 stars, Premier Flooring would get it! Exemplary company with exemplary sales staff, customer service and installers. Well done Premier and thank you! read more

Oscar and team were super responsive and efficient. They also did a great job on our project. Highly recommend!

Oscar refinished my hardwood floors and got them to their original color after 15 years of sun damage. He also repaired cracks in my stairs and repairs my stair nosing. This finished product is beautiful! He also took care to move my heavy furniture, cover my windows, and seal off the kitchen and upstairs to prevent dust accumulation. And he left the house without a dusty mess! I'm completely satisfied with his work and would highly recommend his services. Before and after pics attached. read more

My almost 20 year old wood floor had gaps between the slats due to ground movement. Other floor guys said they couldn't fix it or suggested replacing the entire floor. Oscar knew exactly how to fix it and gave a reasonable quote which was a third of what a new floor would have cost. He was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. He even fixed a floor problem I had in another part of the house also due to ground movement. He's totally trustworthy and I highly recommend. read more

Oscar and his crew are prompt and courteous and entirely trustworthy. I particularly appreciate how Oscar was flexible when the job had to be interrupted due to the need for further demolition identified by the insurance company. (the darned dishwasher leaked). There's a reason for all the positive reviews, people. I will be calling on Sample Hardwood Floors in the future to make the rest of the house's floors look better than new. read more

My pine floors and fir stairs had just been refinished by another company with appalling quality and attention to detail. They left sanding swirl marks everywhere, the stain was blotchy, they left a hair embedded in the stain, there were bubbles everywhere, and they barely tried to match the stain to the surrounding areas in spite of my requests. It took them weeks, during which we couldn't use two bedrooms at all and had to camp out in another room in the house, and keep a pricey PODS container for one or two months longer than we needed. And they used an oil-based finish that burned our nostrils for 3-4 days before it dissipated. We decided to re-refinish the floors. I got quotes from several refinishers, many of whom seemed pretty great, but Oscar won out because he was very responsive, clear in his explanations, obviously competent, patient, reasonably priced, and available. He and his assistant Alejandro did an awesome job. They took their time and got it right. No sanding marks, they worked hard to get the stain just right, they used a water-based finish that didn't smell at all, and explained everything clearly as they went. I was probably helicoptering a little too much given our experience with the other refinishers, but they were patient with me. A small spot in the floor reacted in a funny way with the stain and Oscar came back to make it look better (even though it wasn't his fault). I recommend Oscar whole-heartedly if you need floors refinished. read more

Oscar did an amazing job refinishing my hardwood floors. I had a gouge in one place and although I know where it was, I can't tell it was ever there since he refinished my floors. The color is beautiful, and Oscar checked in with me throughout to make sure I was happy with everything, including the color. He also refinished the trim around the doors. The last person I had refinish my floors 12 years ago didn't bother with the trim so the color was a bit off from the rest of the floor. I am so pleased with how my floors turned out. He was on time each time, including when we met for the quote. He also responded right away each time I had a question. Oscar is the third person I've worked with on hardwood floors and the one I would go back to in the future. Thank you!!! read more

I talked to quite a few floor folks before deciding to go with Oscar. From the beginning Oscar was unique in that he didn't look to educate me on why I needed to do this or that. He focused on my goals, was reasonable and suggested the most efficient option. I liked his work so much that I ended up asking him to help on both my new home and prior home. It was easy to coordinate with him and he always had the perspective of the customer in mind. I am very pleased with the results and the process to get there. Highly recommend Oscar for quality work and quality attitude. The thing with hardwood floors is that they'll eventually need more work done. I'm looking forward to working with Oscar the next time that happens. read more

I highly recommend using Sample Hardwood Floor. We needed some floor repair work: loose floorboard and couple of gouges. Oscar impressed me immediately with his responsiveness to my email and punctuality for the initial estimate appointment. His quote was reasonable too. His associate was on time to start the work. Oscar came later to review the work and asked to return to put one more coat of lacquer. Again, he was on time and completed the work quickly. He matched the color of the new floorboards with the original floor very closely. We were very pleased. Definitely consider this company! read more

Oscar and his team is perfect. Great Value!!! I inquired a few and he quoted the cheapest. They fixed the hard wood floor perfectly!!!

I love Oscar and his team. Such professionals. I had a hardwood floor with lots of wear, water stains and some gaps. He came took a look, told me about his entire process, answered all my questions and gave me a very reasonable quote. The crew showed up on time, were very professional and did a great job. It's beautiful! Oscar also let me know that my hardwood is actually a laminate that's been refinished so many times there was one sanding left. I truly appreciated his honesty and learning that detail. He and a crew member even moved a couple of pieces of my heavy furniture back into place. Great experience! read more

We are so happy with Oscar's work. Our engineered wood flooring needed some refinish. Oscar was very easy to communicate with from the beginning. He and his team arrived on time, carefully taped our cabinets, lamps, smoke detectors and every room. Our floors look so beautiful now. He even took care of the areas like under the dishwasher and range and put an extra coating at our entrance. I didn't think about these when I talked to him, but he was so thoughtful and did the work in a serious, awesome manner. I would definitely recommend Oscar not just because of his competitive pricing, but definitely for the way he does his work. read more

Oscar tailored his service to my specific requirements, documented what he was going to do, and then (he and his team) did what he promised to do, with exceptional quality. Tailoring included doing a full sanding and an extra coat in rooms where my last polyurethane was worn through (kitchen, dining room, hall), not sanding rooms that were still in good condition (bathrooms), and replacing a 23" piece that was cracked. I highly recommend Oscar for refinishing hardwood floors. read more
