The showroom is large and spacious with a very large selection of "slabs." They also have tile. I was looking for colored tile (specifically greenish), and there their selection was not so large, but I did find a couple samples that I liked. They let me take them with me at no charge. They use a checkin system and have several clerks (no need to wait). A clerk is assigned to each customer, which helps in finding what one wants to see. We're a licensed landscaping contractor. In August 2025 we were initially frustrated with trying source materials from MSI b/c they said they could not sell directly to hardscape contractors. After submitting a written review of their management on their website, we were called the same day by a very helpful person named Steven, who sorted it all out. What a wonderful company! Home Depot referred me to MSI to select, then view slabs. On my first trip I selected several granite varieties from Home Depot's list, then found that some varieties were discontinued. On my second trip I selected a current variety and MSI then advised me they would pull several slabs from their inventory to see which I liked. On a third trip I found two great slabs. It is amazing how MSI moves around these heavy slabs and how accomodating they are in pleasing the customer. All the personnel were friendly and the showroom is beautiful. read more

They have good selection - on the face of it... BUT try buying their material... its almost impossible... If you call them, it rings in India. Their 'resellers' want advance payment before ordering material and you're not sure if the material you select is what you will get... They do not sell to customers and offer zero assistance in ensuring what you select at their store is what is going to end up in your house... Avoid like the plague. read more

Came in Tuesday looking for countertops. Was greeted ok, explained the layout of the place. Decent selection. I wanted to see the price on 10 countertops. When I brought my options to the counter, Chrystina told me she can only give me price on my "top 5" choices. It was completely dead, no one else in line. What kind of sales person would do that? You're only hurting yourself. To be fair, I think being young, she didn't take me seriously. Oh well. I found Daltile 10 minutes down the road, and ended up walking out with two gorgeous granite slabs purchased the same day. Highly recommend checking them out. I had an amazing experience there and all the prices were far better than MSI. read more

This store has a huge inventory! We came looking fir ideas for our Kitchen renovation and had more success finding just wanted here than anywhere else we had visited.. and more things we didn't even know we wanted / needed. We came during Covid so was limited entry and gave people one hour time slots. They put us in 11am-12. But it was at 11:20 so we didn't get the full hour everybody else did and were rushed out. Understandably they had to follow protocol but we were happy to wait in our car for the 12-1 time slot but we were told no. That said we were impressed with the selection and way everything was all laid out - Flooring, backsplash, countertops. We were able to leave with a fairly good idea of what we wanted and forwarded it onto our designer to work with getting it all come together. read more

We corresponded via email for a specific prefab Taj Mahal and received confirmation that they had it in stock. We drove hours to the showroom and spoke to a woman who flat out told us they did not carry it. We found the email from Chris and later showed it to another rep. She was more helpful and got Brenden to show us prefab counter tops. So was the first front office rep just lazy or just incompetent. We are builders and have worked with other stone showrooms. This was a terrible experience. For management, the front office rep was Asian female late 30s with glass. It's time for in service training! read more

I drove over to MSI from San Francisco on a recommendation from my fabaricator. When I arrived, I was quite impressed. I was met immediately by a young lady named "Tina," who was very kind and proffesional and knowledgeable. She stayed with me and showed me to the stones/tiles I was interested in. Her attitude was so refreshing, something we see so little of today, and it truly made my experience a great one. The showroom is very clean and well organized, so it makes for easy viewing. Also, the service staff cleaning the floors were equally delightful, allowing me to walk on the floors she had just mopped. She too had a lovely attitude and smile. All-in-all, it was just a wonderful experience. I will go back, and definitely look forward to doing business with them. I think Tina went above and beyond what is probably expected of her. Looking for a rather large slab of natural stone, I drove quite a ways to visit the showroom. Because the size I needed was hard to find, I called ahead with a lot numbers for exactly what I wanted to view. They were backed up and said it would be 15 minutes but I can go look at the showroom. I was interested in natural slabs, but wasn't even given an orientation of where everything was or how their show room was laid out. 40 minutes later, they still hadn't even begun to look for my slabs. An hour later, they told me that they aren't pulling one of my two slabs but they are working on the other and it'll be out shortly. 10 minutes later they told me they could not find it so they moved on. I had to leave because it was in the middle of the workday. I wasted 3 hours (including drive time) and didn't even get to see what I was looking for despite preparing ahead of time AND calling ahead. I just found the customer service to be really terrible. I've visited several other places for natural stone slabs and found the process pleasant (and even fun). This was such a frustrating waste of my time. read more

I've been to seven stone and tile places around the area, and MSI, which does not sell direct to consumer, was by far the most elaborate of warehousing operations. It has a decent tile showroom for both interior applications and exterior landscaping. The slab selection is quite extensive, however in the end, they were the most expensive in retail pricing by as much as 45% over the lowest I found for identical products. Appointments are required to visit, and the registration check in process is quite advanced including a Covid screening questionnaire accessible via a QR code. Staff was helpful but unlike all other places visited, they all stay seated behind the front counter. So there was a sense of coldness with this setup. While I am one who likes to do my research, I also am one in search of the best price possible. And I know in checking with my fabricator, we were able to find a better price elsewhere for the same product I was in search for. read more

Do NOT buy MSI tile! We had our master bathroom remodeled and installed MSI tiles in the walk-in shower. Within a few days, the bullnose edges of the tiles started peeling!! Terrible quality! It looks like they simply ran a strip of paint on the tile edges and did not kiln-fire. Our contractor called the MSI representative and emailed, at least a dozen communications, and NO ONE from MSI is assisting in correcting their defective tiles! Just gives the contractor the run-around! Customer service is horrible and the tile quality is even worse!!! I REALLY regret purchasing MSI tile!! MSI drivers blocked the fairly narrow street of Clementia with their trucks for 1-2hrs and refused to move even after being asked to. One neighbor was complaining that he couldnt get out of his garage because of it. When I asked their attitude was F off and the guy in the yellow vest started to become aggressive and controntational saying i should 'call the police'. They were also rude to other neighbors asking them not to block the street. Given that this is a one way street, drivers had to back out backwards. They created a safely issue for the neighborhood, firetrucks and other emergency vehicles would have also been blocked. read more

Well, MSI did not disappoint! Their customer service was just as good as the other place but MSI has them beat on selection. And, they have the added bonus of having samples available to take home. Just hung up with one of the representative after scheduling the entire team based on what they promised. They were delivering broken pieces of material, I understand that could happen but it was above average, it doesn't look that they care so much about it. Right now I have an exterior deck exposed with no tile and I was promised that my material will arrive today between 8 am and 12 PM , We schedule the entire team already waiting at the job site and outside the store based on what they told us and now they saying that it will not arrive today but maybe on On Saturday and available to pick up on Monday. MSI does have an amazing selection of tile, countertop, flooring and products for remodeling but their onsite customer service is virtually non-existent! I along with several other shoppers waited for their CS staff to approach us and they either didn't acknowledge us or were too busy talking to each other about non-business related things. My recommendations to the management, either you make getting samples and addressing questions more self-service, such as a digital kiosk, or better train your CS staff to be more attentive. I was finally helped by one of the managers who ordered my samples that weren't available at the store. read more
