Unfortunately, I had the same experience as Marshall R as far as far the ''good, the bad and the ugly' with Bedrosian...and no I'm not his wife writing this review! :) I walked in on a Saturday around 10am without a greeting which to me isn't a big deal as I like time to peruse first. But when you have 3 employees who see you walk in and can't even say hello that's already a bad sign....and I'm not a hard-to-please customer! I mainly came for the tile on their Yelp page: the Infinity Collection (Kona) for a bathroom remodel but couldn't find anything similar on the floor...after about 20 minutes of perusing still no one on the floor except a gentleman eating his breakfast in one of the sample showrooms. Okay no worries as I see 4 people behind the counter who could probably assist...hmmm I finally go up to the counter and 2 were busy eating their breakfast 1 on their personal phone and other on the computer..I wouldn't have a problem if It was busy (it wasn't) but I'm the one having to say hello to ask a question? sorry to disturb you... I would give 2 stars but the gentleman who did assist was helpful with the 3 questions I had 'where is this tile' (showing him Yelp pic) only to be told it had been discontinued which led to my 2nd question 'is there something similar?' which he showed me (didn't really look it) and 3rd 'does it come in a smaller size?' which I was told was what was on the wall (chart showing the sizes available)....alrighty...I think I'm done Unless you come in with a contractor or designer or already have a tile in mind, you won't get much help. Maybe they're there only to advise on quantity and place ur order...I realize they're not a design firm but figure working in the business they would know more! To be honest, didn't feel welcome or relevant so I left. Of course this morning, coworkers asked me how tile shopping went and shared my experience...I don't know if 'good, bad , and/or ugly' but a summary: = GOOD: Variety of tile..options. Sample set ups with cabinets so you can envision the room with tile. Love love love how my bathroom turned out! Thanks to Nancy! She was an amazing help with my vision and ordering all the tile. Every e-mail Question I had she was quick to respond and was very helpful. I used Calacatta oro polished porcelain tile for the shower with a crème grout (forgot name) and Clara white tile with bright white grout for the side walls. I used Calacatta oro matte for the floor in 4x6 . The trim was Clara white for the custom niche's and unglazed pebble in Bali white for the shower floor which feels amazing on the feet!! . Visited late morning on a Tuesday, was greeted when I walked in. I looked around, even though I went there planning to select a specific tile (which I did.) They have a few displays of backsplashes or shower walls and a large selection of samples. I went specifically for the Cloe tile (they have a display in white and grey.) When I was ready Nancy was super helpful in placing my order and they had it in stock so was able to immediately pick it up. Although I did not have to pay for shipping, there is an auto 6% surcharge, it was still faster than ordering online and just a tiny bit less expensive but not much. We have not installed the tile yet, but I was happy with my experience and would recommend. read more

My contractor recommended me this place and I can see why-they have an excellent collection of tile!! I had no idea what I was looking for when I walked in, but I left with samples and great ideas after being helped by the people in the showroom (I can't remember names, but they were all very helpful). They did not only show me material, but they also educated me between the difference of porcelain tile and natural stone, etc... which made my decision so much easier. Pretty terrible service overall. I ordered a bunch of tile for my bathroom. Turns out, their calculations were wrong and I was super short on tile. This was not surprising because they acted pretty clueless and made mistakes when I asked them how much tile to order. So.. not a huge deal right? I called to order more only to find out that the line had been discontinued and there is no way to get more. Great. Oh, and they don't take returns. I call back at a later time to inquire about ordering additional tile for a related line which was still in stock. They told me it would not be available for a month(!?). I then asked if this specific tile had trim available. The clerk said no but that I could use trim from another line. She rattled off 3-4 different lines which might offer matching trim. When I asked her if the colors and finish matched, she told me to look at the pictures online to figure out if it matches. It seems like the clerks there don't understand their own products very well nor do they understand how tile needs to get purchased and applied. In the end, I figured out a way to get around their inadequacies and inability to help me. However, it took some legwork and ingenuity on my part to narrowly avoid major delays and sunk costs. read more

I was able to choose the perfect tile and trim to turn my ordinary bathroom into a classy stylish showroom bath! Their prices and availability are very good and reasonable. Don't go to the chain stores for quality tile, go to Bedrosian! The Bedrosian staff is outstanding and extremely helpful. Came in to look at natural stone options, gather ideas for a complete downstairs project. No one greeted me or even acknowledged I was in the store. I took some idea sheets, took a few photos and left. I will not be returning to this store for my project. Also, there was not another customer in the store. The parking lot was empty. My only complain is that their store hours are inconvenient to retail customers. As of today, their store hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm from M-F and CLOSED on Sat/Sunday so basically it leaves no time for someone with a 9-5 job to visit their store. They will loose my business ofcourse and maybe they wouldn't care because they cater to a different market and I will have to take my business elsewhere (e.g. KZ cabinets and granite). In this competitive market - i hope the company will take this feedback constructively and consider changing the store hours to better accommodate customer needs. read more

They are one of the best tile manufacturers in the area. Since they are manufacturers, they obviously have better prices that other tile dealers in the area. Great porcelain slabs & tiles! We purchased marble stack-stone tiles from Bedrosians, and we couldn't be happier. Not only was the price reasonable, but the quality and look was exactly what we had in mind. The tiles also came in and ready for us to pick up very quickly (about one week). I am also impressed with their customer service. Really bad customer service. Their 1st sales person emailed me 8/12-15 that one box tiles are broken and the replacement is on the way, but I've heard nothing till now. (it's been one week) I checked on the phone and the 2nd sales said I have not been charged for that one box - actually I was charged the full price. When I asked the status of the one box she said it's been picked up on the 13th? the 1st sales person told me on the 15th that the one box is on the way. This is supposed to be a big company but I wonder how their product tracking and customer service systems work? read more

My parents have been coming to Bedrosian's for their flooring needs for a number of years, and so we once again ordered some porcelain tile for our bathroom flooring this time around. The showroom is extremely clean and organized, and selection is plentiful - pretty much any color and material that you're looking for is available here! The customer service is equally fantastic! Monica helped us with our order from start to finish and even arranged for us to take 3 tiles home to test out the color combinations. We fully expected to pay for the samples, but she printed out a quick invoice and had us on our way with no deposit required. Of course we brought back the samples promptly within 7 days, as requested. After the work was finished, we realized that there had been some miscommunication and our contractor accidentally added an additional area that we had not planned to tile, thus leaving us with 2 unopened boxes. Monica went out of her way to make some calls and figure out how we could possibly return the unused tiles (they normally don't accept returns). Accommodating service like this is so hard to find nowadays - definitely ask for Monica when in need of flooring assistance! read more

I have purchased about 1400 sqft tile from Bedrosian. Their tile was very nice. I may have visited tens of tile stores around bay area. I found the quality of their tile was amazing. I have worked with their sales person Lovely Ramirez. She was not only explained the tile and models/types of tiles and their coatings, but also guide us to choose the good quality tile from a wide variety of tiles for our home. Once the tile was installed, It was just looking great. They contacted me about a month later to find out how everything was worked out as a followup to see if there are any questions. We came here looking for Hydroment grout, and after checking the color stick-samples we were able to find two colors to match our floor and wall tiles, respectively. Unfortunately, we bought some non-sanded grout for the walls on our contractor's instructions that it turned out we didn't need. And because Bedrosians has a firm no returns policy, we were stuck with it. Also, while the floor grout color ended up being perfect, the wall grout proved to be much lighter than the sample. All in all, I don't think we'll return to Bedrosians. There are many other places to buy grout that have much better return policies. UPDATE: Bedrosians' Hayward manager Jessica contacted me, offering to make an exception to their return policy. Unfortunately, several weeks had gone by and we'd already given the grout to our tile installer. But I'm bumping my rating from two-stars to three-stars to acknowledge Bedrosians' responsiveness. read more

Walked around for about 15 minutes but as stated on my tip, no one said a word to us. No one offered to help or let us know they were there for questions.
