I guess what we were looking for was a little bit particular so it was a challenge. Since they also do cabinets, we inquired about the cabinetry. We were pleasantly surprised they were able to honor our specific request with no additional surcharge. The price for replacing our countertop and adding unique cabinets was very reasonable, we were very pleased. Pauline helped us and she is very helpful and nice. She was very responsive to our concerns and answered all our questions. As a first renovation, it's important to also never make any assumption and ask lots of questions. Since they are a cabinet and stone place, don't assume they will take care of plumbing or electrical. I asked about this beforehand so I was fully aware what was included and not included in the price. The people showed up that day and finished the job exactly as expected. There is one little thing about the work that day that bother me is that they used one of my clean bowls in the cabinets to store some old faceplates. I prefer they would have asked before touching anything in the cabinets and using them for something. I would have used something else to store the faceplates. Overall, great customer service, great product and great pricing! Definitely would recommend this place to everyone!

My biggest advice is to have a really clear understanding of your kitchen design and what services are provided. My design did not include draws on the draft (not sure how that happened) even though they were listed on the inventory list. I did not realize it until I was putting my dishes back and had no place for my utensils. When I called the store and asked about it, I was given the runaround until Erika stepped in. The only solution was to install drawers in my cabinet. So I lose cabinet space. Unfortunately, if I don't completely open both doors when accessing the drawers, they scratch up the inside of the cabinet door. The other warning is to know that you will spend extra on plumbing and electrical installation because it's not included.

Some of the shelves don't fit, we had a few that were warped…read more Ask for replacements, they cut out new shelves gave us the wrong ones, then I finally got the correct one, but they had frayed ends, looked like they used a dull blade to cut them. Putting in another shelf, that does not fit, it's too tight, along with holes that don't align for the shelf hardware had another one that looks like it was cut wrong. A drawer is already off its track, probably worse than that one of the medal tracks is stuck and not attached to the drawer. By they way I've only had these in for a for a couple of weeks. Apparently, these are custom order cabinets... I'm worried how long these will last over the years. I would think twice before ordering from them, quality control is lacking.

I would rate ZERO stars, if possible…read more I needed a custom cabinet for my master bath. After drawing up rough pictures of what I wanted, I looked for a custom cabinet builder. I chose DF Custom Cabinets over the other companies because David bid the cabinet and countertop together. I suggested he take his own measurements to ensure the custom cabinet would fit properly...I didn't think it was necessary. I dropped a sink I purchased along with the sink installation template and with my deposit on 4/3/2025. The cabinet was supposed to be installed by 4/17/2025. I told David I wanted that sink set into the custom cabinet he was going to build. On 4/14/2025, David informed me that the cabinet had not yet been started (due to the death of his father). But he wasted no time cashing my deposit check on 4/4/2025, the day after I paid him. He said he would have the cabinet and countertop fully installed by 4/25/2025. Probably shouldn't have trusted him to keep his word. He arrived on 4/25/2025 and installed his custom cabinet. He had to shorten one of the drawers because he hadn't measured the space and the drawer didn't clear the kickplate or door jab. Once he completed the install, he appeared to stare at the sink after placing it on top of the custom cabinet he built. Concerned (because there was no hole cut for the sink), I asked him if the sink would fit. He assured me that it would and said his counter guy (coming the next day) would cut the hole. Another concern was that David requested the remainder of his payment before the job was complete. I can only conclude that he wanted to cheat me out of more money before I found out he build the cabinet without fitting the sink. The counter guy didn't show the next day and David had no good reason why. The counter guy showed 04/27/2025 (Sunday morning) to measure for the quartz top. He determined that the sink could not fit in the custom cabinet that David had built to fit it. David refused to correct the issue by rebuilding the custom cabinet correctly (to fit that sink). Though he had that sink for the entire build, it appears that he never once tried to fit the sink into the custom cabinet. David walked off the job without final payment. His quitting actually turned out better for me because the replacement company was able to rebuilt the cabinet and complete the job. That company performed quality, professional work, built the cabinet to fit the sink, and saved me about $3,000 off of David's original quote. I cannot recommend DF Custom Cabinets for four reasons: David did not meet the production deadlines that he set. David didn't build the custom cabinet to properly fit the space (had to shorten a drawer). David built a poor quality custom cabinet that didn't fit the sink that he had for the entire build. David provides poor customer service. Rather than stand behind the quality of his own work, he blamed me for the sink not fitting. He said he followed my rough drawings. He's the custom cabinet maker. He should have taken his own measurements and adjusted the dimensions of the cabinet accordingly I feel you stay away from DF Custom Cabinets. I feel they will rip you off.
