I went on a weekday, so it was not busy. Someone asked to help us, and they answered our questions. We made our purchase with ease and we did not wait too long for it to be brought to the front. read more

Our kitchen came out great but the person at uni tile ( I won't say any names) that we gave our measurements to fumbled the ball a little and then they wanna blame us . Like come on lady measurements are measurements and that doesn't change . Thank god I have a great team of installers that made everything work. My installers had to do some customization to the cabinets to make everything work. Kitchen is a 6 weeks old and we are gonna need to replace 2 sets of hardware on two drawers because they don't shut all the way. We have the drawers that will shut gently once they are pushed. These two drawers stay open and will not fully close softly like they should. We need to fully close those two drawers by hand. $10k spent on cabinets, quartz and hardware . Two stars is for the nice slabs of quartz and the color of the cabinets . Will not be returning or recommending this business. read more

Ok, like a lot of warehouse type tile places? They might have stuff, and they might not... but you have to decide on the day you see it!! Went back a week later, not enough in stock. And they are NOT very flexible about returns, so BE SURE when you buy, and DONT WAIT if you see something read more

A very long wait to recieve merchandise after purchasing. The pick up is not organized and employees not helpful.

If you are looking to shop at inutile there are many things you need to know before you go. First of all you need to know what you want before hand because you will not be assisted by anybody at all. If you have any questions about the product you must do your own research because the employees are too busy on the phone or fighting with each other. If you are looking for good quality product good luck because this place is not it. I walked around looking for countertops and cabinets and while they have a lot to show everything is cheap looking and the materials speak for it self. I wanted to check a couple of the things because I was not sure if it was wood or what they work with but the employees will look at you and than continue to either be on their phone or talk to each other while you walk around clueless. As far as the cabinets go , do not expect to find good quality, very disappointing. read more

We have used Uni tile for our kitchen remodel now twice. Collection is good and you find a lot of options under one roof. I especially appreciate the patience of the front end staff (Winnie Wu) for being so kind and patiently sharing details and options for us. She has good knowledge and is helpful. I particularly had bad experience with lady at the door named May. She was rude and screamed at me and my 8 year old daughter. Her behavior was unprofessional and does not consider how she treats customers. People leave their work and important things to spend hours at the store. I keep going back cause of Winnie. She is very best. We had to change our slabs a few times and she was even patient with all this. read more

Went there looking for really old bullnose tile to fix the broken ones in front of kitchen sink, not wanting to rip it all out since I desperately want to sell and move (escape?) to the mountains! They didn't have what I needed for this job. But, what a selection. I will be back to get some of those bathroom slabs since I need to redo both bathrooms. So the selection is really good. Since we were looking for DIY materials, we really didn't interact with the staff but they were all masked as were we to stay safe. Some of the prices for tiles & slabs in the parking lot were very reasonable, if you can find what you need/want. Inside they had discount as well as high end granite & stone. read more

This is a really nice spot for home improvements and house maintenance. They have a plethora to choose from! A creative person's heaven. I wanted to buy everything there. If you need something, I'm sure you can find it here. As for pricing, could be a tense less expensive but it's okay because it's what you'll want or need. read more

We are in the beginning phase of our kitchen remodel and wanted to shop around for cabinets, stone countertops, and backsplash. Uni-Tile was the 4th place we visited last Saturday (7/29) and we saw that they have a sale going for cabinets so we decided to get a quote. Winnie was the person to help us and she was a bit rude during our consultation. Every time we tried to tell her what we wanted, she would tell us she didn't like it or didn't think it looks good. My husband was getting frustrated but we figured for the price, it may be worth it. After almost 2 hours, we agreed on the design and received our quote. We told her we will return the following week with our contractor to place the order because we wanted to confirm the dimensions and design with him before placing the order. I called Winnie early Thursday (8/3) afternoon to let her know we would be coming around 5pm because that is the earliest our contractor can meet us there. She said they close at 5:30pm and if we can come a bit earlier. I told her my husband and I will try to come a little earlier and just wait for our contractor. She said ok. We arrived around 4:40pm only to see her desk was empty. We asked one of the other sales rep if Winnie was in. He said she had already left for the day. We asked if he can help us and he said no, that Winnie would have to complete the order. I thought fine. We will try to come back again. I called Winnie the next morning (Friday, 8/4), and asked if she was working Saturday morning and she said yes. I told her ok, we will come Saturday morning with our contractor to complete the order. I also told her that we came to see her yesterday but she had already left for the day. She didn't apologize or acknowledge she had left early even though she asked us to come earlier. I reiterated to her again on the phone that we will see her Saturday morning with our contractor and she said ok. Saturday (8/5) morning, we arrived around 11am with our contractor and see her desk empty again. We again asked another sales rep if Winnie was in that day. Imagine my shock and frustration when he told me that she was OFF that day. My contractor could not believe it either. We asked the guy if he can help us since she had flaked on us twice now and we just wanted to order our cabinets. We provided him the quote she gave us and imagine our surprise when he told us one of the items she provided on the quote was on backorder for a couple of months. At this point, I'm pissed off. I'm sure the sales rep could tell we were extremely unhappy and tried to offer another brand to substitute for the backordered item as a solution but it would not match with the rest of the style cabinets we were originally quoted for. I told my husband that was unacceptable and I was irritated Winnie did not inform us at the time of our initial consultation that one of the items was on backorder even though we told her we were starting the demo and installation process in a couple of weeks. The whole experience left me frustrated and pissed off so I told my husband we'll look elsewhere. This place has lots of options but customer service is absolutely horrible. If we were having all these issues trying to place the order, I couldn't imagine how much worse it would be if we ran into any issues after receiving the cabinets. Plus they charge a 25% restocking fee for any reason. I do not recommend them at all. We ended up placing our order with KZ Kitchen Cabinet & Stone and even though we ended up paying a bit more. Their customer service was 1000000% times better than what we received at Uni-Tile & Marble. read more

Wanna do some home renovations? Wanna save some moolah? Don't mind to do a little work? You should check out this no-frills warehouse. They have got a bunch of materials from quartz/granite countertops, cabinets, floors, showers, handles, sinks, etc... About 30% cheaper than big box home improvement stores like Lowe's. About 40-50% cheaper than many bath/kitchen remodeling companies. It's best to bring your own contractor but they can refer you one as well. There might be a language barrier if you don't speak Chinese. Located in an industrial area. Parking can get busy on weekends. If you don't mind the inconveniences, you could save some serious coin. read more

Went out last Saturday and it was closed. It was labor day weekend. But nothing mentioned on the website about them not being open. I hear they have a great show room, and would like to check it out. But I don't want to drive out again to find them closed. I can't reach anyone by phone at any of their 3 locations. There is no way to contact them on their website. I just want to confirm that they are open before I drive a half hour to an hour. read more

Lotus the manager up in front has really bad customer service there product is not worth is attitude i recommend you go to Kz kitchen cabinets and granite they have lots of stone and cabinets tile as well but there customer service is way better than uni-tile marble. I have been all over and seen many showrooms and warehouse so unitil e is not the only one. Do not settle for bad customer service or disrespect from them just to save a few dollars. This is why they continue to not care for customers cause we don't say nothing I will not use then anymore. Please listen to your contractor and go here. Do not bother going anywhere blue or orange. They have a great variety of styles and finishes. The show room has really great options for the Carrara trend as well as timeless pieces like green and brown marbles. The natural stone and porcelain was all very well showcased and it was easy to see what they had. They also carry cabinets/flooring/sinks/counters/shower panels etc. I found the staff here quite helpful. If you can go on a weekday morning you will likely have a better chance of discussing options than a weekend. Helen, Kwan and Jennifer were ready to answer whatever questions I had. There were other staff members but I didn't catch their names. Looking forward to working with them again soon. read more

No customer service here. But if you're looking for shakers beware they don't have it for the cabinets that pull. Looks weird to me.

Don't like the place. There used to be some sort of line organizing where you were given a number. I have been here for an 45 min waiting to get loaded with a couple of pieces. I had a couple of trailers pull in and apparently they only have one forklift with a boom so I had to wait for one of the trailers to finish loading Still waiting after more than 50 min. Hopefully it won't get to an hour. I'll try to avoid this place just because of this Update..it's been over an hour and now they're saying the material they sold to me it's. It available. I'm not getting back this wasted hour. It's sad. read more

UPDATE: I would like to thank KEVIN for his professionalism. As for MAY who is a GENERAL Manager you need to fix your attitude 1 and be professional 2 and don't get your other customers talking to me about my issue 3, and when the issue rises come and act like a manager not later on and go crazy for no reason just to make a customer mad, THANKS! Clearly you all were informed on something I wasn't when I purchased 2 different sizes, I received 2 different tones of WHITE because they were from "different batches" which I found out AFTER I purchased both slabs and had them cut. IF YOU CHOOSE 2 DIFFERENT SIZE SLABS I.E. 8 Ft n 10 Ft Slab as I did. PLEASEEEEEE PICK YOUR SLAB BY COMPARING THE BASE COLOR ESPECIALLY IF YOU CHOOSE WHITE QUARTZ OF ANY FAMILY!!!! I had one that was WHITE, another that was BEIGE/OFF WHITE COLOR AND MY KITCHEN WAS AN L SHAPE COUNTER. PAY EXTRAAA GO ELSEWHERE TO SAVE A HEADACHE HONESTLY. There comes a place and time when business doesn't matter it's common MORALS. Don't play people and accept when you are wrong. I came here knowing what I wanted as far as name of quartz and color but they had another Agenda. Apparently my Contractor should know when you get two different sizes from Uni-Tile it's two different tones ( I asked 3 contractors, this only applies to UNI-TILE not in general) I did get a solution and they did swap it out for a credit of a 8 ft slab although it was a 10 ft which Was already cut and although I needed a bigger slab I couldn't go with it due to the difference of color in the tone so swapping would be a waste of energy for another 10 ft. I appreciate it but if I saw this coming I would have NEVER gone with them to begin with. They aren't that much cheaper than other tile and granite companies so research a little and be VERRRRYYYY WISE. read more

Pretty much the cheapest place to get counter tops. Huge selection in warehouse. Their cabinet handles are cheap as well but they do run out so be precise with your count. Hayward location is bigger than the SF location so this means selection is alot more just in terms of stone and counter tops but cabinets and bathroom materials as well. Returns are a pain in the ass so beware. read more

Place is good and the workers are decent. The lady that helped me was super nice. The only downside is delivery. They told me 10am. Then I get a call at 9am saying they are in front of my house. I don't live there yet. So I planned to be there at 10am. Guy waited which was good but only 1 guy and it was only me and my 70 year old father in law. Luckily my neighbor was nice enough to help. But $330.00 for half ass delivery is good customer service. I would just rent a uhaul and have your buddies come help... don't pay $330 for delivery. read more

WOW!! Uni tile and marble is so diverse and they have such a large variety of kitchen cabinets and countertops. Winnie Wu is the best! I spent almost $2,000 worth of material @ Uni-Tile & Marble of Hayward to renovate my bathroom. I purchased a glass door that came out faulty, it had a crack. I went back to see the manager to see if I could get a replacement of the glass door. I was initially told I could get a new one by the front desk people and then the manager said he wasn't able to replace it because he didn't sign the invoice, when one of his other employees had signed it. Are you kidding me!!! The return policy for the product was 30 days. I took it back before it was past due. Horrible experience and customer service after I spent $2,000 all together on material. I had ALL the receipts from previous purchases, and was still denied the return. It goes to show this establishment doesn't value their return policy. I will DEFINITELY not recommend this place to any yelpers out there, STAY AWAY! read more

Holy moly, this place has so many choices on marble, quartz, and granite. Guys come with their big trucks and load. It requires cranes to pick up those slabs. Cheap as heck. Probably the labor is the most costliest. Everyone is so busy helping out customers. Big assortment. read more

Prices and selection are great. Customer Service not so much. It took us four hours to buy our prefab granite countertops because they had to open up a new pallet to find what we needed. They were cooperative up to a point but once it became difficult to find stones that worked together it became clear they just wanted us to go away. Based on recommendations from friends, I did not use their installation services. But if you are willing to deal with their inefficiency and lousy attitude you can get a great deal on some nice countertops. We also bought a couple of sinks from them which seem to be of very nice quality. read more

The prices are the only good thing about this place. The plans and orders created by their staff contain a lot of errors, and then they want to charge to 25% restocking fee to put right their mistakes. Customer service is very poor, and you can be waiting for an hour in line before they can talk to you. I called the general manager, Henry Pan to complain, and he cut me off, instead of listening to my concerns. I called back but he did not answer. Exercise caution when you order here. read more

Good selection. Reasonable prices. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were remodeling our bathroom went here because it was a recommendation from our contractor. I would never do business with them again. The sales agents barely spoke English and were rude.
