    Original Purchase
    Antonette B.

If I could give zero stars I would. I experienced the worst form of customer service in my life with this company. The owner Kevin was completely unprofessional and I highly recommend people avoid purchasing anything from this company. I purchased a slab of granite called Imperial Gold in June. Kevin allow me to leave the slab there until my bathroom project began. I called and spoke to Kevin in August advising that I would need an additional slab of Imperial Gold because I would wanted to put the same granite in another part of my bathroom. I purchased the additional slab over the phone. I called a few weeks later to schedule the delivery of both slabs. I was told that they only had a flat bed to deliver it because their delivery truck was stolen and I would need at least three people to help with removing the slabs from the truck because his delivery guys don't remove items off the truck. I have never heard of such a thing! Once the slabs were delivered, my husband noticed the granite chipped in several corners of each slab. I called Kevin about that and he acted like it wasn't a big deal but said he would send me a check for $75.00. Once I got home from work and looked at the slabs I realized that was not the slabs I purchased. They were a completely different color. I called Kevin and he said that he decided to send me those two slabs because he had two of them. The slab I originally chose he only had one and couldn't order any more. I told him that what he sent me wont work with my color scheme. He tells me the "Imperial Gold" comes in different shades and the one he sent me is just a darker shade. Take a look at my pictures. Imperial Gold #1 is what I originally purchased and Imperial Gold #2 is what he sent me. He told me I could come back to his store and choose something else if I wanted. At this point I'm in the middle of my project, I have to get something fast. So I go to his store and I find nothing I want after an hour of looking. I come across two slabs that look decent, he told me those are quartz. I tell him, I like those are you willing to switch out the granite for the quartz. At first he says no because quart is more expensive. I tell him I don't see anything else I like and for the inconvenience I have experienced, you deciding on your own to send me granite that looks nothing like what I originally purchased will you make an exception. After a lot of back and forth, he send me home with three samples to show my husband, one of which is the quartz. He said if your husband likes the quartz he will switch it out. I call him the next day and tell him my husband likes the quartz will he switch it out he says yes. My husband and I make a second trip out to his business to look at it in person together and talk to Kevin and he agrees but says his second truck is broken and he can't come pick up his granite that is in my house or deliver the quartz but if we can bring it he will reimburse me the $120.00 delivery fee he charged me. So I rent a uhaul truck, and get some family to help out with the delivery of his granite and pick up of my quartz. The next day we show up at the business, Kevin is not there but his employee Ning and the guy that delivered the granite was there. Ning comes to me with a paper explaining that her boss Kevin told her to give me this. It was written out about the exchange and that because the quartz is more expensive than the granite I would need to pay $200 more dollars. I told her Kevin and I never discussed paying any additional monies for the quartz this is suppose to be just a switch out. She tries to explain to me about how much more quartz cost and I told her either we switch out and you give me my $120.00 for the delivery fee or give me back all my money and you keep your products. She says ok, walks back inside the business. The guy helps my family take off the granite and put the quartz on the truck. After they are done, I go back in the office and she has me sign a piece a paper about the switch out and that no money is due for the switch. I said ok, now where is the check for the delivery fee. She says she wasn't told anything about a check. I have to call her boss for that. I call Kevin and now he is saying that he figured since he is giving me the quartz which is more expensive than the granite that I would just call us even and not take the delivery fee from him. That he is feeling like I'm "taking advantage" of him. I told him this is not what we discussed and not what we agreed to. After arguing back and forth for about 20 minutes, I hang up, I tell my family to take the quartz off the truck. As they start, Kevin drives up and aggressively asks me, "why is his quartz on the truck, that's stealing!" I told him, your employee helped to put it on the truck! He eventually gives me my $120.00 back after he see my family with me, all of a sudden he gets nervous and changes his tone but it was such a horrible experience. Buyer Beware!!!

The product and service delivered is not what we expected. - Deliberate cheating On July 9th, we paid for slabs at Cornerstone. They showed us their previous projects, and we were impressed by the beautiful look. - Stain in slabs We paid the deposit for the slabs. They promised the stain would not be there. They convinced us that it would be a beautiful looking finish. But it turns out the stain is still in the slab - Different colors and texture Cornerstone also promised to provide slabs of the same for our 2nd kitchen's countertop and island top. However the slabs for our 2nd kitchen have very different color and texture patterns after finish. Such difference in the same kitchen is not what they promised. - bad quality of finish There are fractures in the slab, the finished surface is not smooth, the sink top are cut from two different slabs with drastic color difference, the backsplash also uses different pieces to cause an ugly look. What they promised a nice and wonderful look turned out to an ugly mosaic. They cheated us to show their previous work with a stolen picture from other website(see above . Their final delivered product and service are nowhere near their promise and originally agreed standard. Overall, we think Cornerstone deliberately cheated on us, made intentional false promise, did not deliver what we agreed, and did not meet the minimal of being a honest busine. Such unethical and illegal sales activities had a horrible impact on our life. It delayed our new construction project and caused substantial monetary damage to us.

    Ask for Scott or Kevin.

I picked up my marble countertop for my bathroom and my granite for the kitchen was sourced from here. I really enjoyed my entire purchase experience here. Scott was friendly and very helpful. He actually cared about ensuring our selection process.

I share the same feeling of many recent reviewers: very disappointed with its product and service. First they were not honest. They showed us some beautiful pictures of "their" past projects which actually were copied from public website. We found out from realizing the same picture showed up first in Google search results. They promised the slabs to be of the same stone. But the two slabs are of different shade and texture. They put them together with rough cutting and finish to make the counter top look more like a mosaic. They stopped taking our calls and refused to correct their wrongs. We had to go through credit card dispute process to hopefully recover the loss partially. The whole granite kitchen work had to redo again. It has been a total nightmare for me. I would recommend you to stay away from this company!

Great place. They were in the middle of moving and still managed to sell us a great piece of typhoon Bordeaux at an awesome price. Thanks.

Today, my husband and I drove down from San Francisco and were warmly greeted by Katya and Deborah. Within thirty seconds we felt right at home. After describing the poufs we'd spotted on their website, we were escorted into the warehouse and shown the samples we'd come to see--were able to browse more beautiful inventory that filled the shelves--and were introduced to other members of the Casablanca Marketing family, who ultimately oversaw the preparation of our order. Sitting at home writing this review (with my feet propped up on one of our new poufs), I couldn't be happier with the service we received--and looking forward to our next visit to Casablanca Market (an entirely woman-owned business). Tip: Check out the Casablanca Market website (https://www.casablancamarket.com) to familiarize yourself with their offerings. The market itself, as it stands today, is primarily a distribution center with a modest but engaging showroom. Coming with an idea of what you're looking for, will help Katya and her team find what you want quickly in the warehouse. That said, given the professionalism, passion, and warmth present during today's visit, I have no doubt that anyone who'd never visited their site would have a great experience!

I wear layered clothing or leggings and a slim fitting top. The store is well organized and sections are clearly marked. As with many thrift stores there are different colors marked down every day please listen for the announcements or check the board. I would recommend grabbing a cart because last time I went I found quite a bit and was carrying around my treasures. As with thrifting you never know what you are going to discover. The last time I went I came out with two fantastic finds one a H&M black cotton dress suitable for work wear and take you straight into evening or happy hour. The ruffle tiered dress I admit I paid more than I wanted to but Google came to the rescue and I saw several original retail prices and I found it over $ 100.00 brand new so I decided to splurge and purchase the dress. Service I can't comment on because I usually don't ask for help and there is self checkout available. But I don't know if my last encounter with customer service I should be flattered or insulted. I was checking out my items and the lady that was working at the front thought I was stealing my OWN jacket that I came in wearing! I said this jacket is mine check the cameras I was wearing it when I came in here! All in all a great thrift store but give yourself time because there is so much to look at. I find if I give myself time I find more treasures rather than just rushing through. Also, keep your finds close at hand with the case of the orange ruffle dress after people saw me put it on they were asking if I was going to purchase it while I was trying it on! There were people definitely waiting for me to put it down. Good Luck and Happy thrifting
