Today, my husband and I drove down from San Francisco and were warmly greeted by Katya and Deborah. Within thirty seconds we felt right at home. After describing the poufs we'd spotted on their website, we were escorted into the warehouse and shown the samples we'd come to see--were able to browse more beautiful inventory that filled the shelves--and were introduced to other members of the Casablanca Marketing family, who ultimately oversaw the preparation of our order. Sitting at home writing this review (with my feet propped up on one of our new poufs), I couldn't be happier with the service we received--and looking forward to our next visit to Casablanca Market (an entirely woman-owned business). Tip: Check out the Casablanca Market website (https://www.casablancamarket.com) to familiarize yourself with their offerings. The market itself, as it stands today, is primarily a distribution center with a modest but engaging showroom. Coming with an idea of what you're looking for, will help Katya and her team find what you want quickly in the warehouse. Looks like a Home Depot except the biggest difference is that there are people at Floor & Decor who ask if you need help then actually help you. They have the nicest staff. I'm pretty sure I was approached by 5 people at 5 different times of my visit. The most helpful one was Milan. Not only did she direct us to different tile sections, she gave lots of suggestions and also gave us her opinions. She also would get a sample of a tile that she thought might look good. At the end of our shopping selection for a bathroom, she printed out all the options we selected and printed us a copy so they're all in one place. I would definitely come back. The ruffle tiered dress I admit I paid more than I wanted to but Google came to the rescue and I saw several original retail prices and I found it over $ 100.00 brand new so I decided to splurge and purchase the dress. Service I can't comment on because I usually don't ask for help and there is self checkout available. But I don't know if my last encounter with customer service I should be flattered or insulted. This bed was barely used. No jumping, no misuse -- just normal use. A bunk bed should not structurally fail like this after just over a year. This is not wear and tear, it's a serious defect. The most concerning part is the safety risk. If my child had been on the bottom bunk at the time, this could have caused a serious injury. What's even more frustrating is that Living Spaces refused to help because we are just a few months outside of the one-year warranty. Hiding behind a warranty when a children's bed collapses like this is unacceptable. This is not just poor quality, it's dangerous. And the lack of accountability makes it worse. I would not trust this product or this company.
