Our car ended up in this lot and we had some personal items in a backpack. Once we got our car back we noticed the backpack was there but had some items missing. I'm guessing it was too noticeable to take the backpack but the things inside are okay. My car was towed in front of my best friends house and was picked up by Mr T's. The street had no signs that you could not park your car on the street. I thought my car was stolen until I called every local towing company in upland. For some reason my car had a police hold so I had to go to upland PD pay 300 for a release paper note and then I had to go pick it up at Mr T's that was 780 I was shocked. The lady and some other guy I talked to were rude, not nice, short answers they seemed shady. I would never call this place to have my car picked up or towed I would not do business with them. It all seemed like a scam. They even charged me 100 for a lean on my car I was upset sad and I felt like I was taken advantage of. Vehicle was towed by the city whole I was out of town No note left, no communication. I called PD to report it stolen and they referred me to Mr T. I was quoted an initial price for the tow, but when I arrived I was given a different price. They added on 3 days of storage fees PLUS a 72 hour penalty doubling the price. They were not willing to negotiate and basically I was told that they'd just hold on to it for 30 days, then auction it and send it to collections. So I was stuck. Lost my vehicle because I wasn't able to afford the $800 initial tow cost and even when I offered to just hand over the title (as I had no way to pay) they refused and said they'd run the clock out for the 30 days. Tow companies in general are the shit stains of Lucifer's underwear. This particular tow station is contracted with County of San Bernardino sheriff department. The complaint is that they did not allow me to collect my belongings from my vehicle citing that they couldn't confirm ownership with expired tags even with the registration (late) listing me as the owner. There was no evidence to suggest that there was any other owner. I believe a law suit could've been filed and won, but I don't have the energy for it. I hope this supports someone's case who does have energy for fighting injustices like this. read more

The guy who came to tow my car has a bad attitude and zero knowledge in the car. He need to jump my car, but said he didn't have the jumper and called someone to come help. It was only 10 minutes since he called that person and he became very impatient and more irritated. When the other guy arrived he jumped my car, but with zero luck. At the end, the tow guy said they need to send someone else out. He left without no other confirmation and ETA. I later found out that due to this guy bad attitude and lack of knowledge my car would have been towed out way earlier than waiting for the second tow provider. Pretty much it took the entire day from 10am to 5pm to get my car towed and I am in a residential area. Btw, I am the one with the Tesla stuck in my garage. I have reported you to Tesla and told them about everything. The agent was shocked that you didn't know about the car settings as it would be your job to know at least what to do when Tesla need to be towed. You made excuses of not being able to get it out of my garage. Also don't expect Tesla owners to know what to do in an emergency situation. It's your job to. My truck got towed by this company and the driver decide to help them self to the possessions I had in my vehicle. The items that were stolen by the driver or brand brand new pair of sunglasses in their case and a $200 pocket knife that was in my driver door. I believe the driver would've stole more if you could've but the backpacks in the backseat and duffel bags would've been too obvious and you probably gotten caught. When I called the next morning to place a missing items report they told me they would look into it. Three days went by and they said there was nothing they can do, that the driver said they didn't had my stuff. On further inspection my vehicle, I know this is a handprint on the center window that slides as if someone tried to force it open. These guys came and towed my car after I was involved in a collision. The police had asked me if I had triple A, I said yes, and so they called this company. They never asked me where I'd like my car towed, instead they told me to come pick up my car at their towing yard, so I did. But then they proceeded to charge me for towing fees when I had told them I had triple A. The towing guys confirmed on site that there would be no fee. She told me they were going to send me to collections if I didn't pay the fee. I argued for a bit but they did not budge. I had no other choice. It was incredibly frustrating on and already terrible day. I would NOT recommend this company, they claim to be associated with triple A but apparently they are not. read more

My daughter was in an accident literally across the street from our house. The car was badly wrecked, and police were called. Police called Mr. T's Towing and 2 officers asked if I had AAA? I did, and the officer's instructed me to give the towing company the AAA card. When Mr. T's Towing showed up, one officer informed the driver that I had AAA. The driver after loading my car on the truck, came to me, and I immediately went to give him my AAA card. The driver told me we do not need that! He then explained that my car is under investigation for the accident and must be towed to "the yard". He then told me that my insurance would cover the tow. I explained that I only have liability and the driver responded that they would probably pick up something and not to worry about it. Obviously, my concern was more for my daughter. About 12hrs later, I called Mr. T's Towing because the police department told me that I did not need a release and that the car was towed "at the owner's request". I immediately knew I had been scammed. I called Mr. T's Towing, and they want $650. I was shocked!!! 12hrs less than 3 miles away and $650??!! The guy was very rough with me. I explained that the driver should have taken my AAA. The guy told me a good story that AAA would not tow a car that was leaking fluid to my house. He said that they would be fined if they did something like that. I decided to put his theory in perspective and told him, so let us say, my water pump goes out and I am pulled over on the side of the road with water pouring out, AAA would not tow me home? The guy just said, you can call AAA and they will tell you and my supervisor even told me! He decided to give me "discount" to $440. I hung up and called AAA. I explained the situation and they told me they did not know what I was talking about and asked where and when they could pick up the car to 'TAKE TO MY HOME"? I ultimately made an appointment for next day, 10am, for AAA to pick up and take to my home. AAA called me before 10am to make sure they were still picking up the car. I met AAA at Mr. T's Towing yard, and they would not let me get the vehicle because my husband's name is on registration and not mine, but I was the one they spoke to went they took the car. I had to get my husband to come down and AAA waited during the fiasco. During the wait I called the police department and spoke with the watch commander. The watch commander told me to tell them that they should not charge the tow fee since I had AAA, but the storage fee was reasonable expected. I agreed. Once going inside, I began explaining what the watch commander told me and how the information was not correct about AAA not towing a car leaking fluid. The guy that rudely spoke to me on the phone the day before jumps in and says, I already explained it to you! This was when I realized he was the guy that gave me the story about AAA not towing a fluid leaking car. I ultimately gave in, but I told them as I handed them the money, that I was paying under duress because they would not let me have the car but that I would take them to small claims. The guy managing the transaction then came to me and said, "I'm not talking to you because YOU are not the registered owner!" "I will talk to him (my husband)!" This guy (different from the rude guy) started asking my husband if AAA was taking the car to our home? My husband said yes! The guy because explaining how we need to compare apple to apple because if we did not tell AAA the car was leaking then we are not comparing the information correctly! The guy looked at me and said, "And I do not scare with threats of court! HAHA! Then why all the explanation? Let us do whatever we are going to do if you are so right! And besides, AAA is literally waiting outside for our leaking car! In conclusion, do not let this company tow for you if you can help it. Especially, if you have an accident and have AAA, make sure you enforce that they take your AAA card or call AAA yourself. read more

My son was hit by a drunk driver and his car was totaled. It was at Mr T for 3 days and our insurance company went and picked up the car and payed 1200 bucks to MR T towing. A few days later my son got a letter from Mr T towing saying that he owed 400 bucks for storage and fee's and they had a lien on the car and were gonna sell it if he didn't pay. These guys tried to scam and squeeze my son for whatever lil drop of cash they could get. We called insurance right away and they wanted copies of the letter and they said they would handle these clowns. Been following next to this guy for 25 min in traffic on the 210 west bound from Monrovia to Glendale towing a black Honda. This guy was on his phone the whole time swerving in and out of other car lanes. On four occasions he nearly hit cars from slowly swerving in to their lanes. Guy never put the phone down every time i drove up next to him . Those tow trucks are heavy and dangerous if not careful. I can't believe that triple AAA would even have them as a representative towing company. Definitely going to cause this company big money one day. read more
