Avoid this lazy lousy company at all costs. Useless driver towed a car in to a repair facility and was asked to park it in a certain area so it's out of the way. He just dumped it off and left it in the way of other cars coming and going. Find a better towing company. read more

Positively awful service, dishonest and unprofessional. If I could give them negative stars, I would! In late October, our daughter and adopted son needed a routine daytime tow from Rancho to our favorite mechanic, who is in Highland a short distance east of the San Bernardino city limit. They called Am Pm Towing and gave exact To/From addresses, and were quoted a fee of $210, which seemed reasonable for the distance involved. So, the Am pm guy towed the car over there. I wasn't there but our kids reported that he was asking them where to go - strange, because shouldn't a towing company have an inexpensive GPS unit in their trucks, or at least use Google Maps on a cell phone? Apparently the driver became disgruntled that the mechanic shop was a little further than he thought, and he insisted that the kids needed to pay a $35 surcharge. He called me when our kids told him they weren't going to pay his ridiculous surcharge. I politely explained that he had been given EXACT start and end addresses (I had been in the room when our kids were setting up the tow on the phone) and a price had been agreed upon based on the addresses given. He then called me an asshole! (Apparently, he had based his original fee on our kids' statement that the business was in San Bernardino. They did make an error in that, but again, they gave the exact address - furthermore, the business is very near the San Bernardino city limit and is only ~3 miles east of downtown.) After I hung up on him, my kids stated that he went in and started yelling at the mechanic. The mechanic finally relented and paid the surcharge, which he of course added to our bill. Apparently the towing jerk came back in and tried to apologize to the mechanic, but the damage was done. He is an embarrassment to the towing industry, and it embarrassed us that somebody we hired went in and acted like (in his words) an asshole to our trusted mechanic. Never, NEVER call AM PM Towing. They run a Mickey-Mouse operation and will rip you off! read more

AM PM Towing is a family run towing company that treats people like family. I really felt taken care of. I blew my rear tire on the fast lane of the 10W freeway and had to pull into the shoulder on the windiest Columbus Day. Being a holiday, I was so scared I would be stranded. Turns out, my insurance didn't include roadside assistance so Geico sent me an email with a list of towing companies - I called a few and they were all ridiculously long waits (2 hours!!). I decided to take matters into my own hands and looked to Yelp for a recommendation. AMPM came up first so I gave them a call. They said they would dispatch someone in 25 minutes, and they were spot on. Mike showed up to the rescue. He was courteous, professional, and made me feel safe while the cars were speeding by. Merging out onto the fast lane also felt safe. He towed my car to a safe area and attempted to change the tire as well! Unfortunately, I didn't have a spare - so he called Ady. I spoke to Ady over the phone and he was so incredibly nice as well! They offered to give me a loaner to take on the way to Costco (my chosen destination), or I could pay $50 and they'd let me keep it. In the end, Mike ended up switching my front tire with my rear tire so it could be towed safely. Even when we got to Costco, Mike made sure to talk to the people at the tire center to ensure they knew to switch the tires back because it would be safer. I didn't know anything about cars, so I was very appreciative that he went above and beyond. Even after he had left, he gave me a quick text later to make sure everything was okay. Really loved this towing company and their service. They'll be my go-to heroes every time! read more

If you want to be treated with disdain, this company is for you. They were just as insulting as going to a Dick's Restaurant. I found them to be dishonest and untrustworthy. They will attempt to overcharge and if they see that you are in a hurry, they will purposely slow down to a snail's pace. AM PM never again! read more
