My experience at this dealership was honestly the worst car-buying experience I've ever had. I was shopping for a car for my son, so my sister, my son, and I went to the dealership to see a specific car that was advertised online. As we approached the lobby, a gentleman looked at the three of us and the very first thing he said was, "Do you need somebody that speaks Spanish?" He didn't even say hello or greet us in any way. His first interaction with us was to make an assumption about whether we needed someone who spoke Spanish, which immediately made us feel uncomfortable and judged. I explained that I did not need anyone to speak Spanish and that we were there to see a specific vehicle I had already called about. It then took approximately 35-40 minutes for them to even bring the car out. We eventually test-drove the vehicle, and when it was time to discuss the numbers, we were passed around to three different people. We waited nearly another hour before we were finally able to sit down and actually discuss pricing. Unfortunately, each interaction became more frustrating because the people we dealt with were extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. During the price discussion, one of the people who identified himself as a manager received a phone call. While sitting there with us, he was yelling at and speaking extremely rudely to the person on the other end of the phone. It was so unprofessional that I actually felt bad for the person he was speaking to. The entire experience was exhausting and completely unnecessary. Buying a car should not feel like you are being treated as an inconvenience or being judged before you even have a chance to speak. We found what thought was a nice car, we called to confirm the price since we were driving from 1 hour away and gas price is $6 right now. We don't have time to play games. This dealer confirmed the "sale price" said the car was clean inside and out. I want to preface this by saying the guy who helped us out was nice but bad taste in our mouth after they have the car listed aggressively low online but had hidden & huge "dealer added fees." Now I know most dealerships will have those, and normally, I call ahead and ask if they have any and if those fees are negotiable or mandatory. Most of the time dealerships will skirt around it and say we can always work something out but I usually don't go to that dealer unless they don't have ANY fees or say it's totally optional. So again, this was on me for not calling ahead. But we packed up our 8 week old. Drove 1.5 hours away ready to purchase and after the test drive we were showed these fees. And after several back and forth, there was no movement. We offered to pay the sticker price (+ tax, license & fees) AND we were trading in an old vehicle (not work much, but running). I mean $5,480 of dealer added fees is ridiculous. So my warning is to be aware of these fees, ask ahead of time before you waste your time. Everything happens for a reason though because we ended up finding a 2022 KIA Sorrento SX Prestige S Line with about 58,000 miles on it for LOWER. I mean it's the highest possible trim level for that model that year and it's a sweet car. Brown interior, heated leather seats, moonroof, anything you need! And it was about $25,000 list price. I called ahead, got an offer in writing (including the trade in value of my husband's car) and no dealer added fees. We came with a check in hand, drove the car and was out of there with the new! I was interested in a car here but ended up purchasing the same model from somewhere else because of their poor customer service and lack of responsiveness. I tried multiple times to get an out-the-door price for the vehicle I was interested in, and was told it was against their policy to give OTD pricing over the phone, because "we only negotiate in person". Eventually convinced them to send it to me via email, but even after several follow up attempts they did not send the quote. I even requested a quote through the Costco Auto Program - and didn't receive a response there either. This is highly unusual, most dealerships that participate in that program reach out to you right away and are very transparent about pricing and providing a quote. Based on this experience and other reviews here, I think it is safe to assume this is dealership is one that will be adding on lots of extra fees to the total price, and they rely on getting you in the door and into a car you like before you find out all the extra costs. I recommend going to Acura of Glendale or Cerritos Acura, their staff were much more willing to speak with me and provide the info I requested. read more

Massive Safety Hazard and Cowardly Management--Avoid Their Service Dept! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. If you value your safety and your wallet, do not let this dealership touch your vehicle. My sister bought her car here on a lease-to-own plan and had it serviced here regularly. The last time her tires were touched for a rotation was at this dealership- it was 14 months ago, but that doesn't excuse anything you're about to read since they were the last people to touch her tires. The only other service she had afterward was a quick oil change at Jiffy Lube, where they did not touch the wheels. Fast forward to us trying to change her brake pads this past week. First time taking attempting to take her tires off since the last service from Metro Acura. Not only was the locking lug nut key completely missing from where it is always stored (her glove compartment) meaning the dealership tech kept it the last time they used it, but also two lug nuts were completely missing from the rear driver and passenger sides. Two lug nuts do not just "fall off" a vehicle if they are properly torqued to spec, even if it's been a year. This is a massive safety hazard that could have resulted in a catastrophic accident on the highway. When we called to explain the situation, we weren't expecting a miracle, but we did expect some accountability. Instead, we dealt with the manager of the parts department, who was incredibly defensive. An honest mistake by a mechanic keeping a key or failing to torque wheels is one thing, but the response we got was pathetic. He initially refused to do anything and telling us we had to pay full price for the key & new lug nuts for the missing ones. After talking he then offered only a "slight discount" on replacement parts for their mistake. After a lengthy argument, he finally caved and offered the replacement lock key for free--but completely ignored the missing lug nuts. To top it all off, he told us we were BANNED from ever having service done at this dealership again just for demanding they fix a safety issue they caused. Now I understand it had been 14 months, but if a customer who has been a loyal customer for years and has only done services at this dealership, calls and expresses these issues, I don't see why management wouldn't just offer two free lug nuts and a free key as good business and faith. It was their fault anyways, who cares how long ago it was. It was such an easy fix and could've bought them more customers off of word of mouth or us buying another vehicle there and we would have kept going here for service. Again, we're talking less than $100 value to keep a customer who has been loyal. We all know how much dealers charge for any repair and my sister still continued to only go through them for service. I offered to do all of the repairs for my sister, but she always insisted to go through them even though she had to pay a hefty price. So after paying several hefty prices for service, they couldn't sacrifice less than $100 value to make up for a mistake that was made on their end. Don't worry, we didn't even bother going back for the free key he offered. We took our business to a shop that actually cares about safety, had the locked lug nuts removed, and replaced them all and everything was torqued properly to spec this time. If you have your vehicle serviced here, double-check your wheels before you drive off the lot. Their techs are negligent, and their management would rather ban a customer than take responsibility for a dangerous mistake. They are a lawsuit waiting to happen. read more

Called this dealership two weeks ago and spoke to Bryant a sales person. Inquiring about a 2025 mini countryman JCW with 24k miles. The advertise price was listed at $34,589. I triple checked with Bryant if that was the out of door price and he said yes, but you have to include license, tax and registration. So the next day I drove one hour to the dealership, met with Bryant, test drived the vehicle and sat down to go over the numbers with him. To my shockingly amazement the price went from $34.5k to $45.5k. "Yes $45.5k" they had added $7k in hidden dealer add on fees. Such as load-jack, a paint sealant, tinted windows and door chip resistant. If Bryant would have divulge this information from our phone conversation, I definitely wouldn't have spent my time driving one hour to that dealership. A very long story short: experienced an electrical issue with my RDX and begrudgingly took my vehicle to Metro for repair because no other mechanic could fix the problem. The lead mechanic (Owen?) took time from his busy day to explain the issues w/my car and worked with an Acura engineer. Unfortunately, it could not be repaired. Israel G. stepped in and worked with Acura/Honda to get the 10k job completely paid for minus a small deductible as well as securing a loaner while my car was repaired. When we pointed to the Sam's Club pricing disclosure, which clearly states "plus tax, license, and fees," they referenced a tiny disclaimer buried in the fine print allowing for accessories at their discretion. Bought a car from here as it had cheaper prices than Carmax. Come to find out, they are extremely pushy about hidden "packages", which added about 5-8k to the online price. It was extremely hard to get them to remove these fees, and you could tell the manager was unhappy when we declined numerous times. I like the car, however upon purchase the inside was extremely dirty, and had a lot of stains on the seats and dashboard. The salesman didn't seem to notice or care. The manager stated that we could use our free car wash another day since it would rain soon and we agreed no car wash but they would clean the inside. Yet they only ran it through the wash (which did not even get gunk off of the side mirrors) and left the stains all over! If you buy a car from here prepare for insane fees and dirty cars. read more

To set context, My wife has been going to Metro Acura for 17 years from the MDX to the current TLX. We had a wonderful service manager Hector for most of those years but as with anything, he left and appearently so did the service. Now we have Robert, who is nothing like Hector. Current day, we had to do a sway bar replacement in Aug. Since then our sway broke off its brackets as what was told to my wife. We paid 500 then and now are being charged another 500. Robert the service manager told my wife we must have drove over something. I got to call BS on that. My wife then asked can we not get discounted. Robert's response I have to speak to my manager. We'll Robert go ahead and do so. I'm going to go through other channels to bring attention to this. We were also told it will not be fixed till Thursday. We test drove it and let him know our father was on vacation and our job was to get prices and to pick out a vehicle. After the test drive we wanted to talk numbers and prices and make our decision. The Honda salesperson walked to the back of the Acura office spoke to a manager and told us it will be around $750/mo. Keep in mind the Acura manager didn't want to waste his time with us and had the Honda salesperson tell us the figure. Very unprofessional, the first time that has ever happened to me and now we will never take our business to Acura, i cant believe the manager or their Acura salespeople wouldn't take the time to work with us , welcome us, just basic sales 101 sales ethics that they completely missed the boat. Just for clarity i am the operations manager overseeing corporate acquisitions and purchasing for my company, we ended up going to Mazda down the street and spoke to the manager and Cole the sales representative who Acura needs to take lessons from for their wonderful customer service. We came in on Thursday for the quotes and test drove the Acura and Mazda and hands down ended up purchasing a CX-50 turbo premium fully loaded on Monday. Came here to look at a vehicle that was listed at a competitive price. Right off the bat the vehicle didn't start due to a dead battery. We were told the battery was dead due to someone leaving the lights on. That was a lie, the battery terminal was really corroded causing problems. They claim this vehicle had a 182 point inspection but how can you miss this as part of an inspection. If you look at the inspection sheet, The technician signed off on the 12v system. I had a bad vibe already. We still decided to take the vehicle for a test drive. Once we test drove the vehicle and said we were interested. They marked up the vehicle almost $4k talking about it has an alarm with a blue light and some 3m appliqué to protect the doors and trunk area. That's a ridiculous price for add on options that no one requested in the first place. Luckily for us they were not willing to negotiate the price and we just walked away. Don't fall for the old bait and switch and add on option gimmicks that tack on a hefty price on the vehicle. Stay away from this place.
