I went to see Patrick so he could change out some drive belts on my car and without a doubt that was the easiest car maintenance visit I've ever had. I wish I had known he was so easy to work with, and only 5 minutes away from me. He does great work with a really quick turnaround, too. I'm very happy that Yelp sent me to this shop. read more

Patrick's Auto Repair - Auto Repair Near Me - Claremont, California

I've been going to Patrick for all my car service stuff for almost a decade now. He's honest, reliable, and consistent. In other words, he's a professional mechanic whose advice I trust. I know he won't try to up sell some auto parts to me because he could make a commission out of them. He even offered to change my tires for free if I could bring tires over to his repair shop, since he doesn't carry them. He's conveniently located near our house. I'm so grateful to have him close by for all things auto repair! read more

One of the very few honest mechanics I've ever met. Patrick always knows what the problem is and offers various options on how to deal with it. The prices are extra fair. Very pleased. read more

I called Patrick after seeing some positive reviews and needing some work on my clutch. He let me know that he didn't do clutch work, but gave me a recommendation for another mechanic. They ended up being the best quote for a replacement I received after calling over half a dozen mechanics. I really appreciated it and have no doubt I would call again next time I need work on my car. read more

I found Patrick's shop through yelp and decided to check him out. It was close to my home and had the drop off over night option so I figured...why not! I was a little concentrated about the over night option since we had to leave the keys and car with the shell gas station. But it all worked out. The staff at the shell was super friendly and reassuring. Patrick called me the next morning around 9 am and advised me what had to be done with my car and also gave me an estimate. My car was done and ready by noon! I paid 183 total for brakes which isn't so bad at all! Plus, Patrick was super friendly so that helped. read more

Folks, this man is honest and full of integrity. I had a issue with my truck. At least I thought I did. Patrick could have easily taken advantage of my naivety. But he took his time to listen and talk to me for about 10 minutes. He explained to me why I did not need to come in and spend a lot of money on a tuneup. When have you ever had a mechanic be so honest as to tell you you didn't need to spend $700 on a tune up? Especially when you thought you did. When I do need repairs this is the place that I will go!! That phone conversation convinced me that Patrick is the right kind of mechanic for me. read more

I trusted the reviews, and was greatly rewarded! Patrick is not only a knowledgeable mechanic and an honest person, he is also willing to put effort into finding any part you need for your car, even if it is an older model! He called THREE different autoshops, the dealer, and the junkyard. He is willing to go far to take care of your vehicle! The last thing I'll say is that I took my car in for AC repair at a different location and I was told it wold cost over 1000 buckaroos! Patrick made it work for less than half of that estimate. If that is not enough to convince you to bring your car to Patrick, I don't know what will! read more

My go-to mechanic; very dependable and knowledgeable onncar repairs. Have brought a nissan versa, hyundai accent and a lexus gs400 to him on various instances & repairs were completed very well. read more

Decided to go here for an oil change due to the stellar reviews on yelp and the online booking option. I was able to get a same day appointment and was in and out in 30 minutes. The price was fair and they even gave my pup a treat! read more

Patrick has been my mechanic for 8 years now. This guy is the best. Very honest, very fair pricing, fast, knowledgeable, and great communication. Everything you want when you need something fixed on your car. I own a Honda CRV 2011 and a Saturn SW2 Wagon 1998. Between the two, I keep him pretty busy. He has changed the oil, replaced the brakes, tune ups, tire rotations, resolved odd starting problems, and more. Don't worry that his garage is in a Shell station. Lol, I was concerned when I first drove up to a Shell station "garage" at first. But meeting and working with him put my mind at easy right away. If you are looking for a mechanic, look no further. I highly recommend Patrick. Give him a call at (909) 621-5923 Patrick's Auto Repair Foreign and Domestic ASE Certified http://www.patricksrepair.com 1091 W. Excellent Mechanic, honest and professional. I've taken all my cars to Pat, Hummer H2, suburban, vw Jetta, Honda Accord.

Honestly, I am so grateful for Patrick. My check engine light came on this morning and no other shops were willing to check out what was wrong with it. I am new to the area so finding a decent mechanic that will do good work but not rob you is difficult to find. Patrick scanned my car and quickly told me what the problem was. He was able to fix the problem within a couple of hours at a decent price. I am really appreciative of his honesty and help. He has a new customer in me. Honesty, hard work, and integrity go a long way!! Will definitely refer out to others. Thank you so so much!! read more

Patrick is honest and reliable. This was the second time going to Patrick's shop to have one of our vehicles repaired. The first time was on our Toyota and he fixed what was needed and haven't had any issues with our Toyota since he repaired it. This time we took our Nissan and again he fixed what was wrong and haven't had any issues with it. Each time Patrick made the repairs in an appropriate amount of time and was reasonably priced. When something breaks on one of our vehicles, we will definitely go back to Patrick's to have him repair it. read more

Patrick is great. It's the second time I've come to his shop. Prices are very fair and he's super friendly and accommodating. He never tried to up sell me anything. New to Claremont and was looking for a place to get my daughters car serviced. Patrick was able to accommodate me the morning I called. Very professional and detailed in checking to make sure everything was in proper operating order besides just the normal oil change service. Reasonably priced and excellent service. Will definitely bring other cars to him in the future. read more

First time using the shop, found it on Nextdoor app. Very happy with service from start to finosh. I left a message before ship opened yesterday and received a return call within an hour of shop being open. Brought in car next morning service was complete by lunchtime, no unexpected charges, no up-sell, just completed the job as he promised. Charged me much less than expected and earned my appreciation and future business. Thanks Patrick for helping me out, I hope to not need you often but when I do you will be the man I call. read more

I can't really speak on his actual service as I was turned down to even look at my truck. I gave Patrick a call to see if/when he has time to look at my truck. I've been needing the a/c fixed on it and have had another mechanic work on it but still not working. But I was told By Patrick that he doesn't have the machine to look into an A/C leak and "it's definitely an a/c leak" - so that's all I got, no recommendations where else to go, nothing. It's too bad because I was looking for a good mechanic to work on all my cars. I like to keep my cars for a long time (I've had this truck for over 15 years) ... I guess The search for a good mechanic continues... read more

Fast and fair. Work is done right. Does what he can to keep costs down. He is now my go to mechanic in Claremont/Pomona.

First time going to Patrick. My car needed a new alternator and he gave me a good price for the part and labor. I also had him change my oil. He did a great job and had my car done quickly and when he said he would. Highly recommended! read more

I almost never write reviews, but I was very grateful to have found Patrick when my car overheated on the 210 freeway. I was towed to another service station that was not accommodating at all, and called Patrick at the Shell station (who had also been recommended by the tow truck driver) and he said no problem, bring it over, he can fix anything. And he did. He showed me where my radiator was cracked and leaking, and changed out the radiator and hoses (at my request) at no additional labor cost. He also checked some of the other hoses and found the source of my check engine light and fixed that for the cost of a hose as well. He did all of this within a few hours and even offered to drop me off at my client's location while he worked. I was very grateful for him being so accommodating and understanding in my time of need, but on top of that, Patrick was a genuinely nice and honest guy, and I felt comfortable with him, which almost never happens when I take my car in to be serviced. read more

Patrick is the MOST HONEST auto repair shop. I've Owned 10 different cars in the last 40 years and... ...you guess . ALWAYS "needed" X-Y or Z ASAP because the issue was VERY SCARY and dangerous . Patrick is fair with prices and does not up sell, and gets the job done and I don't need to back because "something doesn't feel right. And that's me opinion and I'm sticking to it. read more

Choosing a mechanic can be frightening; cars are not cheap, the wrong/deceitful mechanic could cost you hundreds with nothing to show from it. This has happened to me on multiple occasions, but no longer! Patrick is knowledgable, honest, courteous and an amazing mechanic. He will quickly diagnose your issue, be upfront with the cost and work with your schedule. He did amazing work on my '87 Buick, even though it was not an easy fix. He kept me updated throughout the day and let me know as soon as my car was ready. The most surprising thing that NO OTHER mechanic has ever done was that he called me the next day to check on my car, to see how it was running! It was amazing and be has definitely gained a customer. Hopefully this review will ease other frantic minds as they are researching their next mechanic. Look no further, Patrick is the man! read more

Been to Patrick many times for jobs big and small, from oil changes and lightbulb replacements to $1,000+ engine repair jobs. I have always found Patrick to be very honest, reliable and helpful. He gets back to you quickly, communicates very well, takes time to explain the issues and the options, and completes the job within the agreed-upon timeframe. If I have an emergency, I know he'll do all he can to help me quickly, either on the phone or in the shop. Really glad to have him as a mechanic. read more
