Excellent meal all around…read more Started with the deviled eggs. They were good, a little sweet, but the honey bacon that came with them was amazing. Great way to kick things off. I had the French dip sandwich and the meat was amazing. Tender, flavorful, piled high on a crusty roll with au jus for dipping and a side of fries. This is how a French dip should be done. Paired it with a cold Stella Artois and it was a perfect lunch. My wife had the tuna bowl, which was beautiful. Fresh ahi tuna with avocado, edamame, mango, radish, carrots, cilantro, crispy onions, and fresno peppers. Colorful, fresh, and packed with flavor. She loved it. The service was excellent. Attentive without being overbearing, kept everything moving smoothly. White tablecloth vibes with a comfortable atmosphere. The Verdict: Bricktop's delivered a five star experience. The deviled eggs with honey bacon were a great start, the French dip was outstanding, the tuna bowl was fresh and vibrant, and the service was on point. Definitely worth a visit.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I sat in the restaurant this…read moreafternoon and was completely ignored. No one greeted me, took my order, or even acknowledged that I was sitting there waiting. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that other gentlemen noticed I was being ignored as well. Newer customers were also being greeted and waited on. When the lack of service becomes obvious enough that other customers are noticing it, there is clearly a problem. After waiting and receiving absolutely no acknowledgment, I finally got up and left. I wasn't expecting special treatment--just the basic courtesy and service any customer should receive. It was embarrassing, uncomfortable, and extremely disappointing. No customer should be made to feel invisible in a restaurant. This has NEVER happened to me in my life!!

I paired my meal with one of their cold pressed juices, which was the perfect refreshing addition. I usually order something different, but today I decided to try the panang curry, and I'm so glad I did. It's a delicious vegetable curry with root vegetables and snap peas, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. I especially loved the black sprouted rice liked on top, which mixed beautifully into the curry and added a wonderful texture. It wasn't spicy in my opinion, but that was perfectly fine because it was packed with so much flavor.

We've been to True Food Kitchen at least a dozen times, including locations across six different…read morestates, so we came into an early family dinner knowing what to expect. We shared the edamame dumplings, and ordered steak, salmon, and buttered penne for our little one. The dumplings were easily the highlight of the meal, and the kiddo was perfectly happy with his pasta. Unfortunately, the rest of the kitchen missed badly. My steak came out more undercooked than I wanted, the cut itself wasn't great, and there was almost no seasoning. The fries were somehow overcooked and cold. My wife's salmon was similarly bland and seemed to be missing seasoning altogether. We ended up asking for salt and pepper a few times, which says a lot when you're ordering steak and salmon. Our server was nice, and I appreciated that as the dining room started filling up for dinner. But based on how consistently we've enjoyed True Food elsewhere, this meal was especially disappointing. The service kept the experience from being a total loss, but the kitchen execution was nowhere near the standard we've come to expect from True Food.

From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. Thanks to Angel and the kitchen for such an outstanding experience. Seventh South has earned a spot on our regular rotation whenever we're in Naples.

I love how it was brought out warm and toasty. We split a full Cobb salad. It was really delicious but smaller than the one in Ft Lauderdale serves. What was once a reliable favorite at Waterside now feels like a shell of its former self. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, but the food was shockingly poor. We ordered the avocado egg rolls, filet mignon salad, crispy chicken wonton salad, and kids' crispy chicken with potato wedges. Nothing tasted fresh, and the chicken was particularly concerning in its taste, texture, and consistency. Overall, the meal bordered on inedible. Move over CPK, it's time to RIP with Brio in the Waterside restaurant graveyard.

Amazing service and delicious food…read more My friends and I went to The Local before a movie at the Regal movie theater nearby. We were seated in a comfortable booth, and the overall ambiance was so lovely with high ceilings. We got there in time to enjoy a happy hour dinner menu. I ordered the Pork Ragu over Gnocchi as featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." It was so yummy! And the portion was very generous. Service was also very friendly and helpful. We had a great server. I'll definitely return when I'm back in the area.

Tried out this farm to table spot and walked away with a solid impression overall…read more I went with the In House Smoked Turkey Sandwich from their lunch special at $19.50. Naturally smoked turkey with brie, pesto mayo, and tomato jam on gluten free bread, served with a fresh Caesar salad. Pretty good sandwich. The turkey was flavorful, the bread held up nicely, and the salad was crisp with a good coating of parmesan. Decent value for what you get. My wife ordered the fish tacos, which came with a side salad topped with blue cheese crumbles and red onion. The presentation looked great with nice char on the fish, fresh pico, and shredded cabbage piled high. But the execution fell short. The fish itself was chewy and not very tender. That's a problem when fish tacos are one of your popular dishes. On the bright side, our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints on the service front. The cozy atmosphere lives up to the farm to table vibe they're going for. The Verdict: The Local delivers a decent lunch with good service and fresh ingredients. My smoked turkey sandwich hit the spot, but those fish tacos need work. Four stars for a solid overall experience, but maybe skip the tacos next time.

Receptionist greeted me warmly as I entered and asked if I could have a meal at the bar - no problem. Sat down and (on a Monday at 5:15 no less) had a delicious meal served by Adolfo who was attentive but not pushy. I tried their prix fixe menu - enjoying the eggplant dip with artichoke tostones ( I kid you not ) followed by a branzino grilled well with the most delicious yellow sauce both full of flavor and a hit of tartness. Okay, so, I'm done...well, don't forget dessert chimes in Adolfo; and, I relent. They make their own vanilla ice cream then sprinkle it with some herb, sea salt and....wait for it...Olive Oil. I won't say I liked it but I almost had to smoke a cigarrette after tasting it. The dessert, by the way, was served by the owner Louie who was rightfully quite proud of his recent Michelin Star rating ( "the only one in Naples" ). The service was friendly throughout the meal, but everything moved surprisingly slowly, from ordering to receiving the food. We tried the salad, burger, and lamb kebabs. The salad and burger were decent but nothing particularly memorable. The lamb kebabs were unfortunately the biggest disappointment of the meal. They were quite salty and the meat was much tougher than expected, making them difficult to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant makes a good first impression with its ambiance and welcoming service, but the food did not quite match the setting. While the experience wasn't terrible, I'm not sure there was enough to make me eager for a second visit.
