Oh my goodness. I would get a hotel room next door just for this place. This is my regular "after ikea therapy" stop. Theyre food is incredible and the staff is just as well. You can expect to dish out $15 a plate, but my goodness is it worth it. They offer rotating menus since ive been coming. Great brunch spot. The restaurant is well lit by floor to ceiling windows all the way around. The open kitchen has the ever more popular windows to allow customers to see the staff work their magic. read more

I just didn't enjoy the food. Weird flavors. Didn't like the lettuce wraps. Steak was very good though.

Been here a few times but still like the uptown location which is more lively and busier. We came here with a big group for a birthday and they were able to accommodate us. The staffs are great and the services are pretty decent. Food wise it's not bad and the drinks are decent as well. Pretty quiet on a Saturday night here though. read more

I've watched this place get built from the ground up, as it's on my commute. My work lunch bunch finally made our way there recently, and it was a great experience. The space has great seating and an expansive bar area, with lots of TVs and windows. It wasn't horribly loud during our visit, but it wasn't crowded, either, so I'm not sure what to expect at maximum capacity. But what of the food? After perusing the menu, I decided on the Loaded Burger with fries, cooked medium. It features two cheeses, an aged white cheddar and regular cheddar, along with red relish (kind of a fancy chunky ketchup), pickled mustard seed mayo, sautéed mushrooms, bacon, and BBQ sauce on a "everything" seeded bun. It was a bit messy, but delicious, with the bacon having a nice crunch and a juicy beef patty that was cooked just right. The fries were fresh cut, skin on, well seasoned, and plentiful. They weren't super crispy, but had a great flavor and were well browned. Overall, this was a nice dining experience, and not too bad on price for a newer, somewhat fancy place. I'd definitely consider this for an after work drink or to take in a game. read more

Wow! They blew me away. Absolutely loved the vibe and decor of this place! Great energy, the colors, the brightness. I love how u can view outside from the inside, if your sitting in the booth. Service was great. The servers are so cute, well dressed in their uniforms, they were very pleasant and warm! For food, I ordered the poutine... of course, to see of they passed the "test" it was ok to be honest. That's bcuz the Canadian in me wnt let anyone else's poutine be great. I got chicken wings, the taste was rather bland. Almost a burnt dry taste. Food was not the best I had. The Margarita was strong, that's a plus!!!! Will I be back? Yes, I'll try them another time. It's a nice place. Maybe the chef had problems that day I went. read more

Never again. Seated quickly but waited for server for 10 minutes. Table was dirty, drinks came no napkins or silver. Another 10 minutes. Ordered 20 minutes later food came out cold returned and taken off .My $25 mildly warm hamburger arrived, fries ice cold. Waited for more fries. This was the worst place ever. Will not return. read more

Excellent service as the staff made sure to get us served and fed quickly in order to catch a movie. Food was outstanding from the poutine, to our two entrees seen below. The teenagers had a crispy chicken sandwich and chicken Madeira rigatoni. Staff (including the manager) kept checking to make sure everything was good. Great feel to the restaurant. read more

The food was amazing! I had the red Thai curry with shrimp--so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I didn't try any drinks or appetizers this time, but I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu read more

I stopped by this place on a Friday after work and sat at the bar. It was not very busy for a Friday which I was surprised. The decor is really nice but the bartender wasn't very pleasant. I asked for a happy hour menu and he seemed annoyed by my request. I ordered the dumplings for an appetizer and a margarita. Both were not that great so I chose not to order an entree or drink. read more

Moxie's is FUN. A lot of FUN. Great, creative drinks (the avocado gimlet) that were so creative they reminded me why it's been a long time since I drank too much. (OOF) Food is very well prepared. I've had poutine before and am not a fan. Not because it's not good, but because it's not a favorite dish. However, Moxie's makes theirs with a very light au jus which makes it a much better dish all around. The tenderloin fillet will literally melt in your mouth and the sushi options ... oh goodness! IDK what it is with the Canadians, but between Earls and Moxie's, they're showing us that they can cook all things well. From comfort to creative with a twist, the food is top-notch. I'd go to Moxie's with friends for HH after work, or this would be a really great place to have a party. The vibe is nice, design is on point and you just know this is a place to see and be seen. read more

I visited this place with friends for dinner. The customer service is top tier . It was particularly cold this night and the host brought me and my table warm towels. Very nice gesture. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended both my options, the Thai Chili Chicken and the Chipotle Mango Chicken. Both were a hit. I could finish the entire entree so I saved it and added jasmine rice! Delish! The DJ was definitely fire! The vibes were def there. It wasn't a large crowd so it wasn't super loud. I'd recommend this establishment for a cute date night for sure! read more

I enquired about reserving a party event there for 80 people and they said there is a tab minimum of $18,000. 18. Thousand. Dollars. Or $225 per person. I asked them point blank what kind of food do they serve here because I can't even spend that much at Pappa Bros Steakhouse even if I tried to eat and drink. Their menu items are $12-49 per plate. So basically, everyone needs to spend $176 to $213 per person in drinks. Or to be more clear, everyone needs to order a $200 bottle of wine or drink 11.6 to 13 cocktails at $15 per drink just to cover the minimum before taxes and gratuity. I went to another location on the other side of the building called Sharks Club and immediately got an entire room with ZERO HASSLE. Moxie (noun) - force of character, determination, or nerve. They sure do have some nerve. read more

My hubby & I went to have appetizers & cocktails around 9 at night this past Saturday. We sat in the bar & had the lovely Peyton (sp?) as our waitress. She was so fun & bubbly. She gave us great service. The cocktails were so fresh & had great presentation. I love their coupe glasses. The bartenders were amazing. Had 2 appetizers & they were fabulous. It was nice to go have a late night cocktail & food and not feel rushed. The DJ was keeping the vibes going. We had a great time. Wish I'd have taken pictures. My Cosmos were so pretty. read more

The food was great. The night we went we sat for over 30 minutes and had to ask a passing wait person for water and some drinks. Nothing about it was so good that I would have to go back. read more

Oh my....I'm here on a Friday night. First off this place is heavily overpriced. If you want a protein(chicken, pork belly)added to a salad, lettuce wraps, ramen , EVEN NACHOS it is a big EXTRA charge of 6.50! So nachos here is $22 with chicken added. Even though the nachos are claiming to be one pound nachos. Also, never heard of pork belly being extra for Ramen, in which, it is always included. Moxie's would charge $12 for a peanut butter sandwich then $6.50 for the jelly. Now the decor of the place is beautiful as well as the lime green booths. The ambiance here is perfect for a date night with cool music playing in the background. read more

Went to Moxie's last night after getting in about 10:30pm and decided to grab a drink. This is the first bar I've been in since covid. The bar was empty, but that did not stop the server from quickly greeting me and for being so nice. She got me a paper dinner a drink menu. I'd already had dinner, so my eyes went straight to their cocktails. I asked about the rosé sangria and she said it was delicious and it was! Super refreshing and I loved the fresh strawberries and oranges. It wasn't too strong either, but you could taste a hint of the rosé and the deep eddy peach! Before going up to my room I chatted with the server/bartender who was so kind and engagibg. I definitely plan to come back!! read more

The Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Blackened Mahi were absolutely delicious! What makes this place, is the atmosphere and service. I have been several times with friends and have never been disappointed. "Ellie" was our server this time around, she made our girls night out so wonderful, as she went above and beyond to make us feel as welcomed as possible!! Must have caught them on "quaalude night" There were maybe 6 tables being served during our visit. Got there at 6:30. We ordered cocktails and dinner at the same time. Our meal took over an hour to get to us. We were a party of 5 adults 3 kids. If you have kids, you know the fun entailed when kids are hungry 30 minutes ago!! Ribs were "stuck on the bone"...advertised as "fall off the bone"...swing and a miss! French dip sandwich was pretty good. Linguini...had substitute noodles, missing Alfredo sauce...absent waitress failure to rectify. Over priced, lackluster service. Lots of competition at this price point.. all within 5 minutes of this address. Final coup de gras was added gratuity of 18% for "party of 5 adults 3 kids". Don't waste your time or $$. read more

Ok good, nothing special. The soda had a weird back taste as well as the water, could just be the lines. The food took forever as well as the service. The guacamole was very good but did lack salt and the salsa was great. The food took over 40mins after the starters to arrive and was mediocre. The beyond burger tasted burned on the edges and the half rack of ribs was basic. Fries were bland and basic as well. The side salad was tasty but nothing spectacular. Not very busy inside around 8:30P but still super slow service and waits. read more

It was our first visit for date night for Valentines Day dinner. The dumpling appetizer was amazing the mango corn chutney was spot on. The Caesar salad came with the entree which was odd. The filet wasn't cooked correctly so my dates food became cold and no apology. The chef came out with a scowl said "try it see if it's what you want" intimidated me - it was more rare than requested but I ate it and it was just ok. The plate was really not appealing for $41. We didn't stay long and the bill needdd to be adjusted for the third steak (corrected one) which took awhile. They charged $1.50 for mushrooms. Why not host add the few on top? It was just ok, ambiance is very nice I'd go back for happy hour just not a date night dinner. They didn't even offer a dessert for the inconvience. read more

Something went really wrong with this place the last time we went. Came in at 5pm and the restaurant was mostly empty, but they decided to seat us at a table right next to the door. It was a cold day and the restaurant was not heated. Even wearing a sweater and heavy winter coat, I was freezing the whole time. It took our waitress 25 minutes to take our order. I ordered the nachos with beef topping. Around 10 minutes later, the waitress came back and said they don't have the beef topping for the nachos and asked if I want chicken instead. I told her that's impossible since half of the menu is beef and steak items. She said something like "well we don't have the beef for the nachos" and I again told her that's impossible. She said she'd go check with the chef. Ridiculous! Around 5 minutes later, she came back and said it turns out they do have the beef topping for the nachos. Now it's been 40 minutes and no food. Waited almost a full hour, took a look around and noticed that almost none of the tables around us had gotten any food since we'd been there. Clearly something wrong with their operations and we decided to just leave and go someplace else. We got halfway to our car and then the hostess came running out chasing after us saying something like "where are you going? aren't you hungry?" PS this was valentine's day dinner read more

I really like the Manager Myan here. She had great customer service and attentiveness. She made my visit worth while!

I had so much hope for this place, and not only was I disappointed but so were my co-workers as we left our team dinner. As soon as I entered, a guy asked if I'd like to sample some of their red wine. When asked if it was sweet or dry, he just stared at me and replied, "Red wine." I tasted it, and it was enjoyable, but I personally enjoy desert wines. However, he was super friendly and personable so my visit was off to a good start. Sat down with my team, and ordered some drinks. (Happy hour ends at 6 for those curious). Ordered the Hot Mess (vodka based) and it was delish, another great start to the evening! We ordered 3 apps, the poutine, the hot wings and calamari. I've never had poutine, so I don't have anything to compare it to but I truly did enjoy this dish. Chicken wings were mediocre, but brownie points for coming out freshly cooked as the steam was still coming out when they brought it to our table. For food, I ended up ordering the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni, which is supposed to be one of their popular dishes. The noodles were undercooked, and were harder than they were soft. After warming this up the following day, I realized there was minimum cheese but instead just a bunch of grease. Co-workers tried the Red Thai Curry bowl, and were disappointed as it was entirely too salty. The broccoli soup was said to have a burnt after taste. The white chocolate brownie was by FAR the driest brownie I've had. Ever. Overall, no one was really happy with their entrees or desert. So. The pros: Ambiance, presentation of food & customer service. Cons: the taste of FOOD itself.. or the lack of taste, either or.3 read more
