My first time to Moxies was a very memorable experience!!! I ordered the steak bites and chicken lettuce wraps and the food was definitely 5 stars!!! The best part of the night was our awesome server Brooklyn!!! She was very attentive and checked on our table constantly to make sure we had what we needed. Her conversation and customer service was one of the main reasons I will definitely be returning to Moxies soon!!! read more

I LOVE their smoked salmon bagel for brunch and my hubby loves their lobster linguini!! Their cocktails aren't the best, otherwise I'd give them 5 stars. read more

We went on Mother's day. The restaurant is beautiful. The food is good. The service is lousy. I get it, it was Mother's day, the busiest dining day of the year. But our food took more than 1.5 hours to arrive - and our waitress pretty much ignored us the entire time. I finally flagged down a manager, only to be told that we weren't the only ones who were having to wait (not exactly the message I wanted to hear). The front of the house at the restaurant needs to serious work - and the back of the house, although they make great food, needs to learn how to work quickly under pressure. I chalk it up to the restaurant being new and not ready for prime time. I'll be back - but they only get one more chance. Fix it. read more

Moxie's offered a great experience, all around. The decor is beautiful throughout the entire restaurant. The atmosphere was full of great music thanks to the dj that was spinning the perfect tunes all day. The waiter was an excellent server. And the food... THE BEST PART! Everything was phenomenal from the delicious appetizers, to mouth watering the main course, and don't forget the dessert! The dessert was so good, I forgot how full my stomach was. I couldn't stop scooping the vanilla bean ice cream with the warm and soft brownie. All around great experience! read more

Went for happy hour on Thursday. We sat at a table and the bartender first took our drink order and everything was fine. But then he never came back to check on us. We finally flagged down a waitress and she said that she was now taking care of us. However the service wasn't much improved. We had to flag her down because she never checked on us. We ordered the guacamole and it was fantastic! Probably the best I've ever eaten. When we asked for more chips though they gave us some very stale ones that were like cardboard. We explained the problem and our waitress replaced them and they were still very stale. With the bad service and the bad chips we probably won't be back. It's a shame because the place is nice inside. read more

I enjoyed the service quite a lot! The vibe of restaurant was on point, it made for a great night with friends, not mention the food was terrific! I would definitely go there again!! read more

Took forever to get seated. Seems they are always short staffed. Beautiful place but very poor service.

We came here for Mother's Day, so not sure how the staff is normally but the food was about an hour wait and it was not that busy. Outside of that the food was amazing! read more

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food but the key differentiator was the 5 star service from Ryan. Definitely looking forward to my next visit! read more

No service. Took forever to even say hey or ask if we wanted something other than water. Took forever to come by and close us out. No refills. Sushi was trash. Other waitresses came by and checked on us. It wasn't even that busy on this particular Friday night to be having bad service like that but ok lol. read more

We watched while every table received refills, assurance their food was good, additional tables were served.......... and after 10 minutes we left. So disappointed, but clearly they have issues. 1pm on a Sunday and there were only about 10 tables should have clued us in. Never again. read more

Moxies is one of my favorite spots to go. The food is outstanding and they have a great happy hour. Zack served us at the bar and his attention and ability to multitask with such a busy bar was impeccable. Not to mention the margaritas he made us were absolutely fire! read more

Well let's start out by saying this is not anything like the Dallas location. Menu isnt even the same. This was very disappointing. My wife and I had been so excited that we were getting a Moxies up close to us. Not anymore. There are so many awesome restaurants so close to this place that I'm not sure how it will make it. We just went for drinks and they didn't even carry the frozen vodka tonic that we were hoping for like the Dallas location has. Then we ordered chips and salsa and the chips tasted at least 3 days old. All in all not a great experience and I could go one street over to granite park boardwalk and get fantastic food at multiple restaurants with great location and great drinks. Good luck Moxies but we won't be back read more

Came here for brunch today. Food took a long time to come out but was very good. Service was ridiculously slow, orders were incorrect as well as the bill. Coffee was lukewarm not hot. Don't think I'll be back. read more

Raygan is absolutely amazing! First time at Moxie's a few months ago I was totally ignored by the entire bar staff. (Must have been Raygan's day off). Everytime I've come back Raygan has always been in a bright cheery mood and has been very attentive! She's earned a loyal customer for life! read more

Disappointing experience. Came to the area and was deciding on what to eat. Saw this place on Yelp and wanted to try it. The decor is nice. Wasn't busy at all when I got there. Waited an hour for my food to come out while other people got their food before me. When the food finally came out, it was underwhelming. Steak was over cooked with no flavor. Chicken was dry with no seasoning. Ramen noodles were all stuck together. Nothing enjoyable about this experience. Waitress also acted like she knew we were having a bad experience and tried to avoid making conversation. Not worth how much they charge. read more

My wife and I had a great experience! We had a great server (Bobbie), she was so helpful and kind. It made our Valentines Date Night very special! The food was delicious although we were not anticipating a set menu for the night of Valentines Day. It all worked out but would have been nice to have a heads up. The ambiance was fantastic for a date night. The whole staff made our night very enjoyable! read more

We walked in to be seated and the wait was way too long but there were plenty of empty tables. Food and service not good. Would not recommend. There are plenty of other restaurants in Plano with better service and food. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

Moxies - Honey Garlic Wings!!! - Lounges Near Me - Plano, Texas

Tried Moxies in Plano last Saturday for my cousin's birthday and it was cool! I loved the atmosphere...great music.. and the food was ok! My favorite was the Potstickers on the appetizer menu and the white chocolate brownie which was so dang good! I was thrown off a little bit (in a good way) when I seen a family eating there because I thought it was an adult only type atmosphere. However, I don't dislike this restaurant but it is just like many of the other restaurants that I've tried here that do not season their food and rely on herbs and things that take away from the flavor rather than enhance the flavor! It's definitely a bit pricey which is why I chose to stick to the appetizer menu because I did not want to risk spending $25 to $30 on a meal and having to add salt to it. I always recommend people try things for themselves because everyone's taste buds are different as for me I'll definitely be back for those potstickers and that delicious brownie dessert! #tableforonefoodblog #tableforonefoodblog #dallasfoodie #yelpelitesquad read more

The food was incredible and the staff was even more so! We stayed in the Sandman and had several meals here and each one was just great. Beautiful restaurant and beautiful staff! read more

We had an over-the-top excellent experience at Moxie's Plano for my daughter's 18th birthday. The hostess, servers, bartenders, & managers were top-notch all the way! We were allowed to put up a few decorations for her table, and their server, Moyii was wonderful about serving the girls and keeping us informed as we ate in the bar. Everyone including, Brooklyn, Madison (Maddie), and Ashley checked up on us frequently and made sure we have everything we needed for a pleasant dining experience...all while they were short-staffed! We will return again and again, as they are knocking it out of the park during these trying times in the industry. Kudos to everyone there on the evening of 1/28/22!! Thank you all for your strong work ethic and cheer to match! read more

Service was good. I ordered the chipotle mango chicken. I was looking for a bit more variety on the brunch menu, it seems somewhat basic. Overall I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and the complimentary mimosas. read more

Fantasia and Alexus were outstanding servers for our party tonight! We had a work gathering for Mitel and had a fantastic time with them! We will definitely be back :) read more

Food and service was great! We loved our server Gabby, she was really kind and cheerful and we enjoyed our night here! Would recommend :)

The food was really good. Great fresh flavors. The music was a bit too loud. The service was ok, my hubby ordered the tuna poke for me, after our waitress took the order she came back to let us know that they where out. The staff should know these things. My hubby ordered a burger with sweet potatoes fries however it came with a baked potato instead. Eventually they brought his sweet potatoes. We waited a long time for our appetizers. When the check came the baked potato was added to our check. It was a dollar charged however this shouldn't never happen. The drinks took a long time to come and we didn't get refills on our waters. My husband is a good tipper needles to say he left the minimum this time. Too bad the food was good but service totally ruined the experience. read more

It took 30 minutes for a takeout hamburger, but sat at the bar watching the bartender talk to one patron, didn't offer me water while I waited, she finally went and checked on it, surprise it was ready. She was apologetic, but then my order was missing the fries, no pickles. Also 3 other staff members were sitting talking while my food sat there, to include the manager. Unacceptable service especially since I was the only one eating in the restaurant. read more

Nice room with a great atmosphere. I've tried a couple of things. Pretty ho- him burger and not so good bruschetta. But every time I've sat at the bar, young girls bartenders have been very curt, rude as if your imposing on them to serve a drink. read more

Every single item on the menu is delicious. It all comes out very presentable and appealing. Servers were great and enthusiastic. Love this place, will definitely come back! read more

Ordered chipotle chicken and blackened mahi - both were very good. Patio tables were dirty. Service was absent. Took 20 minutes to take our order, when food finally came out, no one checked on us even once. Drinks were never refilled. White chocolate brownie was average. Took 20 minutes to get the bill after asking for it. When we finally got up to leave, the table beside us who were waiting awhile to have their order taken, asked how the service was. We were honest and said what service? There were literally 10 groups on the patio and no wait staff around. The table thanked us and got up and left. read more

It was okay. From when we walked it, there was a wait, which I thought was odd for a Friday night. It seemed like there was only one hostess running back and forth. The service was decent, just a little slow. I couldn't tell if the restaurant was running with a small crew tonight or what. We had poutine for the appetizer. The only downside was the gravy was too salty for my taste. However, the burgers made up for it. They were delicious. We got the brownie for dessert. It was good, just disappointed that it was more on the cooler side of the warm spectrum. It was our first time here after passing by so many times. I'm not quite sure I'd return again. In my opinion, the price of the experience was overpriced for the lack of attentiveness from the wait staff and what looked like overall disorganization. It seemed like we were more of a hassle (without any implication of any attitude or anything from our waitress). Basically, I wanted to be one less table for our sweet waitress to handle tonight. read more

Kudos Shark Bar and Grill. Jordin is awesome. Most impressive waitress I ever met. She is very friendly. So courteous. Always smiling and pleasant. Helped us with the menu, this gal knows her stuff. Such a gem...like really!!! I will be back just because of her excellent service. read more

Amazing food and amazing service! Laura took care of me at the bar and did an outstanding job. Will definitely be coming back

We checked in late, so we got dinner an hour before closing (bless them for helping us out in the kitchen so late) and surprisingly had an appetizer/to go orders/meal&drinks in that time frame. Waitress was super sweet and was supporting the entire store. Hotel kind of screws you on their coupon. My $20+ medium well steak was rare and tbh kind of gross and charred. I had to force feed myself the meat, but the vegetables were good. read more

My goodness... Moxies Grill and bar is a fantastic establishment. When I stay at a hotel that has a bar or restaurant, I am always suspect. I have found that this is not the case at Moxies. On top of the platinum level of service from Raygan and Kalee, the food is absolutely fantastic. Tonight I enjoyed the potstickers, they came prepared perfectly and in a timely manner. The only thing to outdo what I have previously mentioned is the personable ness of the staff. Weather ya are looking for a quick drink, date night, or anything at all... Moxie is the call P.S. Raygan makes a mean michelada. read more

I was so excited when I saw that they had a Plano location because I loved the Dallas location! I had the pasta and it was mediocre. My partner got the burger and it was one of the worst burgers I've tried. We would equate it to a burger at the buffet that has been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. On top of that, we each ordered a cocktail and it tasted like alcohol mixed with some heavy syrup. I would not recommend coming here. There was a reason why they had open reservations in a Saturday evening. read more

Super slow service but the food good. Been here pushing 2 hours and we just ordered 1 entre and desert. Everyone that was here when we arrived is still here. read more

Tried this place multiple times and each time either the food or the service, OR BOTH, were terrible! Multiple times had the waitresses ignore me and leave me sitting at a table for 5 mins. and longer when they were 5 feet away and visiting amongst themselves. Then when the food arrived the fries were soggy, tasteless and cold every time and seemed as though they had been soaking in a bunch of cold grease! This was after I specifically asked for the fries to come out hot, crisp, and fresh from the fryer. They were put in a dish to be standing up, only to be hanging down like wilting flower stems when they arrived. The french dip sandwiches weren't any better than the fries. The buns were soggy and the sandwich tasteless and the whole sandwich was so soggy that you couldn't even pick it up to eat it! Then when the manager said that it was basically my problem if I didn't like their food that was enough. He was as rude and unhelpful as the wait staff. After multiple attempts at getting decent food and service at Moxies, I have given up!! The food, service, and management there is so terrible that I wouldn't want to step into their nasty establishment again! read more
