Be prepared to be stood up and/or forfeit whatever funds are paid. Other people have had similar experiences with this business. Please see their reviews on Google and Yelp. No shows several times. I am handicapped and they left me stranded without a safe place to sleep for x4 nights. Here's what you can count on from Quality Moving: -repeated no call, no text, and no shows -inability and/or refusal to follow instructions or directions -inability or unwillingness to clean up after themselves -damage to property that you will not be reimbursed for Matt is the owner. Any conversations had with him will be forgotten while the conversation is happening. He will ask the same questions 4-5 times. The next day, it will be as if the conversation never occurred, and he will ask the same questions again, multiple times. Communicating via text won't help. Matt was hired to help with a few simple tasks in my home: assemble a basic office chair, set up an adjustable bed, and help cut up some oversized cardboard boxes so that they would fit into the recycling bin. 2 people were needed to set up the adjustable bed. Got a quote from a different business that was significantly higher than Matt's quote of $100, so Matt was the first choice due to the lower price. Matt said he would call early in the morning to set up an arrival time. He called at roughly 4:15 pm. Claimed he was being considerate, "letting me nap", but this was just a cover for the no call no show. Matt said he would call the next day at noon, and would arrive at whatever time I requested. He called at roughly 3pm and said, "We're coming over right now". Matt previously stated he would arrive with his nephew. Without letting me know, x2 different men were sent to my home who didn't identify themselves. Their identities weren't revealed until about 15 minutes after their arrival. Joshua and his younger helper knocked over a gallon of water next to my bed. The corner of the pitcher broke when it fell. The rug and floor were saturated, in addition to my mattress that they placed on the floor. They claimed they cleaned up the water. About 2 minutes after they left, I noticed that the floors and carpeting were still completely saturated. I called and and asked them to please come back to properly clean up the water. They attempted clean up a 2nd time, and failed. Bed risers were installed incorrectly (see photos), rendering the bed unsafe to sleep on. Padding on top of risers was supposed to be removed pre-installation. This wasn't done because they refused to read the instructions. As a result, I did not have a safe to sleep for 4 days. This is because neither Matt, nor his helpers returned as promised. The excuse Matt gave for the repeated no call, no text, and no shows was a recent breakup with his GF. If you chose to hire these people, they should be supervised at all times, and DO NOT TIP until after you've closely inspected their work. I tipped them $50 without checking their work first, trusting that they had done a good job. In the end, I had to hire a contractor to fix the problems they caused, resulting in a total loss of about $300.

They had the best attitude and were friendly and outgoing, along with being professional. Young people with this work ethic are few and far between these days. And on a funny note, they resembled my sons. In my experience, more often than not, movers and delivery people I've hired were unkempt, dirty and crabby and in the past I've hired piano movers who were much more expensive and unnecessary. (Maybe different for a grand piano but mine is upright) Unfortunately I didn't get the crew's names but they deserved a far bigger tip than I gave! I didn't get a quote from any others and even if they were higher than the going rate I'd hire them anyway. Support local. Support women's owned business!!

Ken then called and indicated the weight of the move would require them to come out for several hours the day before to prep the furniture and that I needed to sign a new contract . The new contract was 1200 .00 more .. started looking at the new contact and the moving materials were being charged on both days . He apologized , blaming the computer . The job went from 5300 to 6800 . Between the 2 day change and double billing for materials , requested my deposit back and found another company . The new company did it in one day for 3500.00 .

You inform this company you are disabled and have one arm in a sling from surgery on a torn rotator cuff. The appointment was set for a certain time on a certain date. You arrive the night before at a hotel in the move to town and call(during regular business hours) to confirm the appointment. All is set and confirmed. You remind them that you can not lift a thing and that you had surgery 3 weeks prior on a torn rotator cuff. They reassured that they would be there. The next morning, you arrive 20 minutes early to the new home. Wait...wait...wait more. 5 minutes after the show time, you call. It immediately goes to voicemail. Now, you realize they are avoiding you. They let down a handicapped client! REALLY! So, now I call other local moving companies to get a last minute hire, and they want up to 4x standard rates. I really can't afford that. So, I took off my sling and joined in with my helper. We got the job don, but it took us twice as long to get the job done. Now, when I get home, I have to go back to my doctor as I think I re-tore my rotator cuff. IF I COULD, I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY A MINUS 5. They should rename their company to "-5 star moving". !!! Let me advise any potential customers- HIRE ANYONE ELSE!!…read more We initially used Dan to help unpack our moving truck when we moved into a rental in Coeur dAlene over the summer and had a fantastic experience- Dan was communicative, and super careful with our belongings. We purchased a house a few months later and thought we were hiring Dan again to move our things again. I had requested someone be to our rental between 10 and 11am. To my surprise, two young, unkempt boys and a girlfriend showed up just before noon to start the job. These two boys smelled like a combination of chemicals and filth- something pretty indicative of substances use issues. I was given the excuse by Dylan that Dan is his dad and was passing the business along to him since Dan is too invested into the union and doesn't have time to maintain his business. It took the three of them almost four hours to pack the moving truck, which is not a complaint I have, however they took quite a few things apart- our bed frames, our kitchen table, and as much furniture they could. When they were done, we had given very specific directions that they needed to use the city Greenacres to insure they got to our new home. The kids managed to get lost for nearly two hours, saying they looked up the address in Spokane Valley and ended up in Arragon. At this point it's almost 630, and our young son needed to be put to bed. They loaded everything into our garage minus our bed and couch. When I asked for a rough guesstimate for price, Dylan had the audacity to try to charge me for an arrival time of 10am as well as the two hours they were lost- to a tune of over $900. Needless to say, we paid them for the hours that we were actually able to account for. Fast forward a couple weeks, and I'm now going through boxes to unpack things that weren't a necessity, and I have GlassyBaby's that are broken and irreplaceable that the box was clearly dropped. For those of you that haven't heard of GlassyBaby's, they are hand blown glass votives that supper grassroots foundations, are on the spendy side. Stay as far away from this poorly ran and managed "company". These kids will ruin your things.

My only issue is that basically the customer pays for the employee to be trained. One worker was on his second day and didnt know alot about the process. The experienced worker had to spend alot of time explaining things, or doing the work by himself for the other to watch, to try to stay efficient- which isn't fair to the worker either! A better solution to train would be to have the trainee be the 3rd person in the 2 man crew, to observe. OR discount the price per house and let the customer know it will take longer. I was under the impression I would get 2 experienced people, we did not and it definitely took longer than it would have- aka $100 an hour for me.
