The building has a terrible rat infestation that started about 3 months ago. I've called the…read morecorporate customer service number about it multiple times and nothing has been done. Back in September, I saw two rats in the stairwell. They've now made their way into the units. Today, one ran on the piping over my head, stopped, looked at me, and ran into the unit next door. There are now rat feces and rat urine in my unit and all the way down the hallway, which leads me to assume that they're in all of the units. For as much money as we pay, you'd think they would get a professional exterminator to come onsite and handle the issue. Oh and there's an extremely strong smell of urine coming out of unit 2113, which has been there for the last few months. I'm 99% sure a homeless person was living in there while it was in between tenants. I first noticed that there was a huge wet area outside of the unit and the smell was coming from it. I went back a few weeks later and the wet area had dried up and the smell was even stronger. I made a formal complaint online in December and wet area is still dried up outside of the unit and has a strong urine smell (see pics). Lastly, let me say that I've been a tenant of this facility for over a year. I've had zero problems until the last few months (minus the homeless people blocking the entryways before the office opens in the mornings). I'm not sure if they're under new management or if they stopped caring, but this is truly unacceptable.

I originally rented my 10x20 unit shortly after separating from the Marine Corps. Over the years, emptying it has been a significant challenge. As a disabled veteran working full time, balancing this responsibility has not been easy. Wanda has been an absolute dream to work with--understanding, patient, and solution-oriented. Paul demonstrated the same professionalism during his time at the store, and Devin has also been extremely helpful. It is clear that this team embodies the humanistic qualities and thoughtful application of company policies that truly define outstanding customer service. Many of my items were ruined by rat urine and droppings, costing me hundreds of dollars in damaged property and moving expenses. The worst part is that this is not a new issue. I've reported it to management multiple times, and nothing has been done. The trash is constantly overflowing, attracting flies, with dead cockroaches all over the floors. Even the restrooms are rarely, if ever, cleaned. This facility is poorly maintained, and I would never trust it with my belongings again.

I have been passed around by five different people in terms of who was in charge of reimbursement. The facility was incredibly not helpful and does not value their customers in any way. The reason got that 3 star is that they increased our rent every few months. It got to the point where rent was more expensive than my first mortgage! If you need very short term storage, this place is fine because they give you a cheap teaser rent rate to start. Then they start jacking up the price every chance they get! I just think there are less expensive better value storage places with the same level of security and cleanliness. We left when they gave us yet another price increase notice!
