Today is my sisters move date and moving is already stressful in itself, so this is totally unacceptable. After waiting 30 minutes for the U-Haul to open, me and my sister went to another U-Haul that was close by, and they were able to help us and provide good customer service. When I spoke to my sister much later that day, she told me she drove by this U-Haul and they still were not open, I do not recommend this location at all, just horrible.

The first time this happened, nothing was taken but other units were not so lucky. The second time we found out there was a locksmith there and was able to cut the lock on our unit because my key would not work. When he cut the lock is when we found out WE WERE ROBBED....AGAIN! They cleaned me out and was nice enough to put a new lock on there. That was why the key wouldn't work. They took our washer and dryer, this human sized dog bed I had, TV stand and all kinds of other things. We canceled that day March 19, 2026 and come to find out today, it was not canceled. A report about the theft was made and we still have not heard from anyone. Oh yeah, and there was not camera in our hallway to catch anything.

I don't know what's happened, but CubeSmart on Coit has really gone downhill. I've posted 3 pics of what it's looked like for weeks now (end of April 2024). It's disgusting. There's garbage everywhere. The gate is always open; I don't know if it's broken or what, but I can't remember the last time I saw it locked. There's no one in the office, either. Nevertheless, they've raised the rents (of course). I vacated my unit, and I gave written notice via email but I haven't received a reply, confirming that they're aware of this. I've also made numerous phone calls, but no one has answered the phone, so I've left 3 voicemails stating that I'm moving out, and requesting someone call me back to tell me when someone will be in the office so I can turn in my keys and lock, but so far, none of my calls have been returned. Canceled immediately. 100% a bait and switch. I am looking on their website now, and that same size storage unit is being marketed for $44. Clearly there are way too many games with pricing so I would highly advise to stay away and find another local storage if you plan to be there longer than a month or two.
