Give it 5 stars except when the Dallas Regional Manager Raise my rent every year even with lower rental units next door The Property Manager, Harrison, working this morning at the Audelia Road Public Storage Facility was a great help to me and my wife today with our storage unit # 3004. Helped us get up the elevator to our 2nd floor unit, unlocked the restroom for me to use today and answered all my questions. Harrison works only Tuesday thru Saturday mornings at the Richardson Audelia Road Public Storage location unless one sets up an appointment. We have had various storage units at this facility since 2013. We had two or three units at one time. Had to move again last year to #3004 when the Dallas Public Storage Regional Manager raised our monthly rent again. Had to move to our current unit which was just 4-units closer to the 2nd floor elevator. Just down the hall from our old storage unit but monthly rent was $50 less expensive, I also buy my casualty insurance thru Public Storage for $15 per month which was cheaper than my Allstate Rental Insurance. Very clean and neat storage facility. Easy access with keypad lock on gates, inside doors and elevator to AC controlled 2nd floor units. Now facility is primarily self-service using computer internet screen and keyboard inside small office near front locked gate. So I went to the office and rang the door bell no one answered so I rang the bell on the apartment that is attached to the office also no answer then I called and left a message, so then I went to the apartment located at the back of property and I knocked very lightly Assistant manager came to door I ask if she could tell me why I'm overlooked she was very rude when she told me I didn't pay my bill, I then told her that is wrong I paid Friday asked her if she could call the Manager she then told me I would have to take that up with Christina and that she wasn't fucking calling anybody for me, then her dog came running after me like it was going to bite me and I told the dog to get away from my then Sherry told me fuck off mother fucker and to get the fuck away from her door and that she wasn't helping me with shit, so I walked back to my space and got in my car entered my code and left the property sent another text message and an email to the property in Broadway Blvd, Garland Tx.

Terrible Experience -- Climate Control and Elevator Have Been Out for Months…read more I would not recommend this storage facility, especially if you are paying for a climate-controlled unit with elevator access. The elevator has been out of service since at least June 12, and the facility has also had no working A/C. I called to report the issue and left a voicemail, but no one ever returned my call. On August 3, I had to move my school belongings out of my second-floor unit. The elevator was still broken, and it was still extremely hot inside. I was forced to move everything through the emergency fire stairwell, which has a tiny doorway and sharp, awkward corners. It was extremely difficult to maneuver larger items through the stairs. The heat also caused damage to my belongings. The vinyl on my IKEA table actually peeled from the heat, and several tables were banged up while we were trying to maneuver them down the narrow stairwell. My husband even injured his back while trying to hoist items over his head to get around the sharp corners. I called again after this experience, and once again, not one person returned my call. Today is August 18, and the elevator and A/C are STILL not working. I have yet to receive a single call back or any meaningful communication from management. If you are advertising a unit as climate controlled and providing elevator access, those services should actually be available. Months without A/C or elevator service, combined with a complete lack of communication, is unacceptable. Very disappointed with this facility and the way this situation has been handled. If I could go negative stars I would.
