Helped us get up the elevator to our 2nd floor unit, unlocked the restroom for me to use today and answered all my questions. Harrison works only Tuesday thru Saturday mornings at the Richardson Audelia Road Public Storage location unless one sets up an appointment. We have had various storage units at this facility since 2013. We had two or three units at one time. Had to move again last year to #3004 when the Dallas Public Storage Regional Manager raised our monthly rent again. Had to move to our current unit which was just 4-units closer to the 2nd floor elevator. Just down the hall from our old storage unit but monthly rent was $50 less expensive, I also buy my casualty insurance thru Public Storage for $15 per month which was cheaper than my Allstate Rental Insurance. Very clean and neat storage facility. Easy access with keypad lock on gates, inside doors and elevator to AC controlled 2nd floor units. Now facility is primarily self-service using computer internet screen and keyboard inside small office near front locked gate. The on-site older lady property manager works at a different Public Storage location now.

So I went to the office and rang the door bell no one answered so I rang the bell on the apartment that is attached to the office also no answer then I called and left a message, so then I went to the apartment located at the back of property and I knocked very lightly Assistant manager came to door I ask if she could tell me why I'm overlooked she was very rude when she told me I didn't pay my bill, I then told her that is wrong I paid Friday asked her if she could call the Manager she then told me I would have to take that up with Christina and that she wasn't fucking calling anybody for me, then her dog came running after me like it was going to bite me and I told the dog to get away from my then Sherry told me fuck off mother fucker and to get the fuck away from her door and that she wasn't helping me with shit, so I walked back to my space and got in my car entered my code and left the property sent another text message and an email to the property in Broadway Blvd, Garland Tx.

There's no mysterious fees during the move in and the lock is complimentary. Also access is 24 hours a day with no surprises like codes changing out of nowhere. The cost is a good value because it's rules are pretty basic...just follow them and everything will go smoothly. Not trying to slam the others but it's nothing like "snatch & grab" places like Public Storage or Extra Space Storage with extremely high turnover rates for auctions. Now they have codes on the doors which is way better than having to go to the office for a key to get into the hallway where my small unit is located. They also implemented a code to get out of the place which is annoying but I know it's for security. In the past they helped any way they could for me to get the key...I have a regular job so them closing at 6 wasn't convenient but they would wait an extra 5 minutes so I can get there to get the key. This place is the best bang for your buck (I drive almost 20 minutes just to get here). It's not in the safest neighborhood so I don't recommend going at night or do what I do & take your handgun with you & keep it on your person at all times. I usually make my husband go with me cuz even though he's a scrawny lil thing, it's still an extra pair of eyes! When you rent a unit it probably won't be swept clean so bring a broom if u care. All my units were dirty. No biggie for me, just a quick sweep.

The mover refused to give a final quote until everything was loaded and was rude and careless, damaging my apartment during the process. He held my belongings under duress, demanding an additional $850, claiming it was a "deal." After paying, I discovered he left items at my old apartment and poorly reassembled my dresser, using my tools to fix it. A week later, he called accusing me of lying about the apartment damage, despite my photographic evidence, and offered to "fix it" so I could drop the matter, also refusing to share his name or company address. The owner, Olvin, was also rude and unprofessional, dismissing my concerns with profanity. Their conduct throughout the move was unprofessional, dishonest, and disrespectful.

It's honestly very impressive…read more Where they lack GREATLY is any shape or form of support by either phone or written communication. Chat is really your only option, which is of course outsourced to a cheap labor country, and they will drop your chat in a couple of minutes if you're not babysitting the chat; they can take up to 10 minutes to message you back but if you take more than 3, they will just close the chat. I scheduled move out on the 23rd of February for two of my four units. I checked on my March bill and both units are still present. Huh. So I schedule move out again. The end of the month comes around and they managed to move out one unit but the most expensive one is still there. I schedule move out on that unit for a THIRD time on March 30th. I put it in the back of my mind; I have work to do that doesn't revolve around trying to cancel a damn storage unit. Fast forward to the 7th of April. I get a text that I have a past due balance and to pay to avoid collection attempts. LMAO. Good luck wit dat. I called and was able to get to the property manager's alleged voicemail, to which I left a message that expressed the reality of the situation and the more stark reality that I will never pay a cent for that unit in the time I hold breath in my lungs on this earth. Imagine my livid, fat ass when I saw a text today that I owe LATE FEES on top of the rent space itself; the gall to say that I moved out today and that's my balance. Anyways, I'm on a chat with Sahm T now....letting him know the same reality. Really crossing my fingers that he can see the clear paper trail that indicates this being 1000% the fault of Public Storage's property manager for this location so I can put this BS behind me. When I finally dump my last two units, I'll put this orange scab of a company behind me for good.
