Mountain Mikes pizza! Let's start with the build out! Beautiful modern build out compared to the old school locations I've eaten at in California. Food- the pizza had the same great sweet sauce taste which is truly different from other pizza chains. The topping portions were very appealing to the eye. Definitely can taste the freshness and didn't see any quality control issues. Chicken wings according to my wife- she liked them but preferred another local chains better. Service- well when we walked in I thought it was a little loud with the video games music. (We were the only ones there). The lady at the counter was nice but out of the vibe that she had better things to do than serve the customer. About 5 mins after sitting down the owner came in. ( Funny how the lady at the counter had a change in her service standards) lol. Owner came over and spoke with my wife and I for probably 15 mins. Super nice lady. I really do hope their business takes off but I see a managerial issue when she's not there. I have read reviews about nickel and dime customers, over cooked pizza (although the pictures don't show that) and all I can say is "Give them the pickle" All restaurant owners should know that story. The pizza is good... but I literally ordered a small teeny tiny pizza for my daughter & also a medium pizza for myself. I ordered 2 drinks paid full price for the drinks but my daughter was given a kids cup & a salad and I spent $60. Way over priced pizza parry's pizza across the freeway much better deals and the pizza is just as good. Way more bang for your buck. Also you have to pay for ranch... nickel and dimed to death. I stopped by here to try out there weekday buffet and we got there around 11:30 am and we were the only ones in there which was nice , The place was really clean and quiet. I started out by getting the salad which has plenty of options to choose from and decided on waiting to get the pizza as my plate was loaded up . They did have cheese sticks and cinnamon dessert pizza. They did have a small section of video games and a small outdoor seating area. My only issue is they should probably get some more help because once we sat down there were probably 6 more families that walked in and seems they all did the salad bar as well so needless to say when I went back to get some pizza there was nothing there and they were very busy with online orders . The lady at the front counter did come around to each table and apologize that there were only 2 workers and they were trying their best to get more pizzas out. The problem with that is once they brought 1 or 2 pizzas out they were eaten immediately, I did finally get 1 piece which was good but it's a bummer to pay for a salad and pizza buffet and only be able to get 1 slice. read more

This should be a zero stars, but I'll add one for the fast service and ok customer service. We wanted to try this new place and I love supporting neighborhood businesses but was disappointed. Food is nothing fresh, we ordered an Xl pepperoni pizza and boneless wings, the 2 lbs of wings were burnt and cold like they came off the air fryer, from a frozen bag, pizza was also on the overcooked side, greasy and tasteless, like a premade crust with mini pepperoni, and tasteless sauce! Ordered a medium cheese pizza, wings, mozzarella sticks, and (after being told it would've about 30mins) a salad bar. When I went back for the salad bar, the cashier told me not to tip her, and didn't allow me the option. When we received our food, we had to wait longer for our sauces. The wings were chewy and fatty, so we didn't eat those. The pizza was great: fresh, hot, and very cheesy. I'd love to comment the mozzarella sticks, but they didn't have any marinara available (we came at 1:30PM on a Sunday, but they were still heating it up?). We ended up taking the sticks home and will try to reheat later. The salad bar was lack luster. Items were clearly poured straight from the can or bag and not even drained. It's a good thing we didn't come in for the buffet, because there wasn't anything in the warmer. Though the team members were nice, they all seemed super frazzled and didn't know the answers to simple questions. I don't blame them at all, but more the people that trained this new team. Lunch buffet is on point, reasonable price for a lot of food! There's plenty of seating and it's very clean in here. The salad bar is fresh and full of a lot of variety, and they even have bags of crouton! Rajah what's so personable and friendly, we enjoyed talking to her throughout our lunch. Super disappointed- tell me how two smalls , 1/2lb of wings and one small salad and two soft drinks turns out to $80 . That's bull$#it pricing and honestly price gouging in comparison to some of the prices up north . Do yourself a big favor and turn yourself away from this joint , you're better off going to little Cesar's with these prices . I noticed other employees were busy texting on their phones and she was the only one who was actually attentive and checked in on me which was nice. I guess if I'm being honest, I have to say a pizza snob. I'm very particular about pizza and simply put, the pizza here didn't cut it. I've eaten pizza several other places in the area and this wasn't one of the better ones. I had to stop in because I remember Mountain Mike's from when I was a kid in San Diego. Let me tell you, it still slaps better than most places. Perry's, Costco? Nah. Mikes is IT in that area. Its like Chipotle style vibes in the way you order but its got games for the kiddos to keep them busy and giant tvs hanging around. Its a clean and inviting mix for the kids and parents. Well, thats about it, cant really think of anything else that stands out... oh wait, 5 stars not just for the food but for the service. Rajah was a damn gem! She was attentive and on her game 100%. She even brought me a box the second I thought to myself "I should get a box." I won't lie, that part kinda weirded me out but then she admitted to being a mind reader, so...that... made sense? I just wanted to shout her out because her attitude had me feeling great about coming into the place and because of that i'll be back, this time with a number from 1-20 in my head. I need proof of the mind reading. In all seriousness, a good restaurant isnt as good as just its food or just its staff, it requires a perfect mix of both and Mountain Mike's compelled me to make a review and I almost never do that. Love this place the employees are very nice and the building is very clean. Food is always prepared well and kept warm until we pick up, I've gone here a few times since opening and it's easily been my favorite pizza spot now. The 1st time we went me and the family were excited as from the Bay Area I was looking forward to having this close to home now but it failed not once but twice. 1st time we got 2 sets of wings that were cold in the inside. Gentleman in the cowboy hat advised we're new and still learning and advised will have a credit in our account when we come back. Fine, so the 2nd time we decided to order take out and my email said 20-28 mins it would be ready. Got there and there was 3 of us in line and a group of workers just talking instead of asking if anyone needed help. Realized after the supervisor was also in that group which I'll attach a picture. So that wasn't a great look! Anyways once someone got to me and I arrive about 25 mins so in between my promised time. Young gentleman advised we just put it in the oven and we're backed up. So now my 2nd time is another issue. About 8-10 mins later someone advised me we made a mistake and half of the pizza has mushrooms are you ok having one side with cold mushrooms? Like you seriously would ask a customer that question and I asked for a supervisor who basically was useless and said wait if you want it hot. Guess the pressure of being busy got to her and the response was just plain take it or leave it type of response with no remorse for the time I was promised was about 30 mins past my promised time for just a medium pepperoni and mushroom pizza and tried to offer me one side cold mushrooms and one side hot. Unreal! That's not what I ordered I advised! Once I got it I instantly did send a formal complaint online not once but twice. The 1st time I explained exactly what happened on both visits and the person said he was the owner and advised I have to understand that he hired kids and to be patient as they get accustomed to things. So the supervisor is a kid too? What kind of damn excuse are you trying to give me? Instead of trying to maybe find the root cause of your problem and being sympathetic as a damn owner you try and give excuses and blame the kids and not take accountability that maybe the training isn't up to par and get people that actually have been working at other locations to assist you and get you the experience you need to help you maybe train or assist with shadowing and release the so call kids when they're ready. Being a California native I'm excited to finally have a mountain mikes nearby. Went early in the evening to beat the rush. Me and my husband patiently waited for our pizzas to come out, although it was a bit of a wait but that is to be expected considering they just opened. Ordered a small pepperoni pizza and some of the slices did not have cheese, a small everest lacked meat and no cheese..tons of mushrooms....unfortunately, management does not have enough staff for opening or possibly some veteran staff to assist with a soft open on a Friday night!
