Me and my friends have been coming here for a while now. We are all huge fans of their 2 slices for $5!!! They give HUGE portions as well as a drink for only $5! I love coming here and the staff make it homie! Thank you Palermo's for always blessing us with big slices and a happy tummy:)

We were so so hungry after running errands. We both love pizza and my bf said he like the Palermos in his old neighborhood, he found one on the way home. We decided to dine in. After ordering a large pepperoni, 25 buffalo wings, & spaghetti with sauce and cheese. The food came out fast and HOT! The wings were perfect: wings crispy, sauce right amount of spicy. Pizza was great: melting cheese, slightly crispy crust with some chewiness, and right amount of pepperoni. I did not try the spaghetti but it looked awesome.

We had high hopes! The reviews are good on google 4.3 stars and the photos there and here look good. What we got wasn't the same .... It was like "what you ordered vs what you got off wish" pizza edition. The Cesar salad was good

Apparently that's the wing sauce . SAVE YOUR MONEY wings were soggy when I called n ordered ' them fresh ' crazy.

Wack af save your money not worth it pizza is greasy too Might as well go to wing stop little ceasers got better wings

Not sure if this is family owned pizza spot but this place is beyond amazing ! The people that work here are always super nice with good customer service ! The pizza & wings are super amazing ! This last order I got was a large pizza with 25 wings, honey hot & mango habanero flavor ! I ask for it well done and always finish this delicious meal ! This place is definitely in my top 3 pizza spots. The pricing is also very very reasonable for what you get. I've been to multiple fancy pizza restaurants & sometimes places like this pizza spot just taste way better especially at night. I give this place a 100/10. They deserve the best customers give them a try !

Chicken parm

Well the owner here is from Pittsburgh and he proudly shows his Steelers pride at the order counter. They have some good lunch specials as I wandered inside in this food wasteland of an area. It wasn't a diamond in the rough, but at least was a reasonably priced lunch. Any sandwich and a drink and chips was 7 bucks, so I went for the chicken parmesan. Now, the bread was actually better than the filling which was quite unusual. The chicken was sliced up already and doused in sauce and covered with a good blanket of cheese. Nothing really wrong with the chicken, but it just wasn't anything outstanding or would make me go back again. The interior has alot of seating and they have a couple of TV sets, but Pittsburgh is more known for french fries on their sandwich than Italian food.

My favorite pizza in the south west valley. Actually taste like New York style and the wings are pretty big and they don't skip on sauce.

I got the Paul Ruben now its not the classic Ruben but it has a California twist to it. Overall it had a good taste but it did not wow me. It needed more meat and needed more French dressing as it was way to dry on the very dry bread. To me a Ruben is to be juicy and sloppy. I did go back to counter and got a couple different sause. but what I notice was that all the sauses were all think mayo based and for the most part tasted the same. too think for my liking. For a sandwich and drink your looking at $20. I did find it very rude that I am asked for a tip upon check out. Tip for no service just for them doing there job does not equate tip. Take this off of check out, teach your employees to go beyond their paid job part, that tipping them is for going above & beyond (maybe as time allows have them go to tables that are eating in and ask how the food was or asking if they need a refill) is what you tip for. Now we ate in and they did brink our food to our table and were very freindly and were more than happy to give me additional sauses, and this is what earn them a 30% tip in cash after not before. Sorry but you don't earn a tip just because. I say this because wait staff at sit down restaurant work there asses off bringing drinks & refills, food, dessert and handles the cashing out and never know if they are even going to get a tip for there service. The shop ambiance it self is pretty simple but did find the huge animated pics of Ike a little much to the point of being egotistical. Have pics of your employees who go up and beyond as they are the ones doing all the hard work, as this would impress me way more. If your story is true you need to remember your roots and reward those who work hard for you. I find my self saying would I come back and my answer is probably not. As i believe The bread was my deciding factor it just was way to dry.

From the moment you walk in, there's a welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home--something that's only enhanced by their genuinely friendly and attentive customer service. The food itself is where they really shine. Their fried onion rings are absolutely irresistible--crispy on the outside with a perfectly tender, sweet onion center. The fried zucchini is just as impressive, if not more so. The pieces are generously cut--huge, satisfying, and cooked to golden perfection without feeling overly heavy. Each bite has that ideal crunch, followed by a soft, flavorful interior that keeps you coming back for more. Their hamburgers are another highlight. You can truly taste the freshness in every bite. The ingredients feel high quality, and the patties are cooked in a way that avoids that overly greasy texture you often find elsewhere. Instead, you get a clean, juicy flavor that lets the beef and toppings speak for themselves. What really ties the whole experience together is the service. The staff go out of their way to create a warm, welcoming environment, making you feel less like a customer and more like a guest in their home. That level of hospitality, paired with consistently delicious food, makes this spot one you'll want to return to again and again.

The cashiers often seem unsure of what they're doing, and the whole front area feels disorganized. The older lady ,she wears glasses and usually works mornings ..who is frequently at the register always appears unhappy and frustrated, which makes the experience uncomfortable. Mobile ordering is supposed to make things easier, but here it doesn't. When I give my name, I'm told they need the email, extra details, or something else unnecessary. If I placed a mobile order under my name, that should be enough to hand me my food. It shouldn't feel like a DoorDash pickup or take extra steps because staff can't locate the order number. Mobile orders should be quick and convenient, not a long wait caused by confusion at the register. This location really needs better training and more efficient processes. It shouldn't be this difficult to pick up a simple order.

This is the second Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop location I've tried in Arizona. The other was in Scottsdale, where they have two locations. They are growing in the Phoenix area and this seems to be a fairly new location. I tried the Cali Tuna sandwich. I decided to pick and choose my toppings, since I did not want onions or tomatoes. They do have a garlic sauce option, which sounds intriguing. I might try that on the side next time. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff made sure to describe all of the available options for toppings and cheeses. I knew that I wanted the Dutch Crunch bread. It's a standard for me whenever I go to a Mr. Pickle's. I would recommend that anyone give it a try, unless you're not a fan of crusty bread. My sandwich was huge! I took half home to eat for dinner. I really liked the strawberry watermelon lemonade. It was flavorful and refreshing. I'm told that they have a new app coming out soon! The place is right out of a movie (maybe "Roadhouse" or "Urban Cowboy minus the mechanical bull). It's part biker bar, part honky Tonk, pub, and cocktail bar. We came for the burgers and were not disappointed. They were absolutely solid and worth it in every way. The nice, fresh beef patty was grilled to perfection and set in a soft bun with all the usual trimmings. I'd recommend you add thousand island for an extra touch of goodness. The resulting burger was juicy and meaty and drippy and excellent. It was not a throwaway "bar-food" item. The menu has a lot of great things in it, including sandwiches and all manner of comfort food and bar staples. A big surprise were the onion rings and ranch dressing. They were some of the best I'd had in a while. I found them better than the fries which were fairly standard. Others have complained about the service, but ours was really good at lunchtime on a weekday. Our server was also the bartender, and she was attentive and nice, albeit busy with all the workers that frequent this joint. It's filled with a mix of blue-collar, cops, office people, truckers, bikers, and just plain folks. And they play some great songs on the jukebox. Definitely worth it. And try one of the burger variations on the menu (with bacon or mushrooms, avocado, etc).
