    Roadhouse Beef Chili

I took my parents to Harley Davidson museum recently so we came in here for lunch after. It was a Tuesday so they had tacos and margaritas on special. The restaurant itself is huge! Lots of space and plenty of tables. Love the bike up front and views of the river. We started with a pretzel appetizer. Very good but could use more cheese sauce. My mom got chili which was a huge portion and tasty. I had a blend of two salads, and it was subpar. The green avocado dressing was flavorful. My son's Mac and cheese was probably the best thing as far as food! Our waitress was friendly and prompt. The bathrooms are upstairs and the women's had a sign saying it was closed so this was a bit frustrating as we had to wait to use the family restroom multiple times. Cool and fun spot, especially if you're already next door at the museum

The exterior of the building- so cool!

Cool venue right by the water. Love Harley decor. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had a drink at the bar (old fashioneds of course!) which were good. We then sat down for dinner - plenty of seating but we did have a reservation just in case. I ordered the ribs- which were good. I also had bites of their fish fry which was excellent- I'd probably order that if I visited again on a Friday!

Started off with an order of cheese curds. They were good, but for $15, I expected more. I'd skip those next time. The one pound BLT - dang! It was amazing! I rode for 610 miles to visit the museum and well, if you're a Harley enthusiast eating at the museum is part of the experience. The interior is cool - Harley engines and parts scattered everywhere. The service was....meh. The server took her time and could have refilled drinks more often. I'd still come back for that BLT.

Went here for some fun on the last day of summer vacation, and back to school tomorrow, Food was excellent, I had the tuna steak sandwich, very good. Husband only had a bowl of chili which was very hardy and filling. Kids are very fussy but they have a nice kids menu and our server was very generous with the substitutions. Also enjoyed the 2 stores, one was an outlet store and if your lucky enough to find your size you can get some pretty good deals

Was running errands and decided to pop in and try out Motor for a quick bite! Well they were actually pretty busy due to a big outlet sale taking place at HD however we lucked out with our arrival and only had a 10 minute wait. Food came out quick and we knew what we wanted to order right away since we used our wait to look at the menu. The fries were amazing!! We both enjoyed our burgers which were piled high in toppings!

I've been to the museum a couple of times now but have never tried the restaurant. I was surprised at the multiple options and different varieties of dishes. They had a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes for those who are looking for them, and they were clearly labeled as well. I got to try the Cajun Chicken Club, which was good. The fries were perfect and crispy, too. Pretty good for my first experience!

Table for one is very disappointing from a company that has high standards compared to many American Made companies. Was not impressed with the service for 1 compared to what I've seen with tables of 4 or more. Fish Fry was not impressive to speek of Menu choices could of been better over all Host stand needs more than 1 person during the lunch time

This is a good place to be at Thursday Bike Night the energy and atmosphere is amazing . The different people and music is entertaining. The food is always good and made to order. Staff is always friendly and accommodating with any food requests specially for me since I have a few food allergies. While bikes night is not all year round it is a lot of fun when in season. A great gathering place for all kind of events at any time of the year. Highly recommended!

The food was pretty good - no complaints. I had the pulled pork with slaw and crispy fried onions and batter fries. Tony had the chili. We both had a lot to eat, very filling. This is a nice space for dining, overlooking the Milwaukee River. The service was not so good. Not her fault, but our server had an emergency and had to leave and said her manager would be helping us. Nobody ever came back to check on us, provide a to-go container for leftovers or give us our bill. It was really hard to find someone to flag down. The people at the table behind us were waiting even longer and it looked like they got up and left. I think the place has potential, maybe just needs to work on a few things.

David and I went to Motor Bar after visiting the Harley Davidson Museum. There was a 15 minute wait even though there were plenty of open tables inside. Probably a staffing issue, so it was no problem. The vibes inside the restaurant were super cool, and our waiter was very nice and attentive! It took about 30 minutes to get our food which was surprising because we were there at 2pm (kinda a random time). I got the nachos as my meal even though they were on the appetizer menu. They were yummy with plenty of toppings so every chip was covered in meat and/or cheese. The real bummer of the meal was David's burger. He got it medium and it came out sooo overcooked. It was so dry and it tasted burnt because of how much they over cooked it. If it wasn't for the barbecue sauce and other toppings, the burger would have been inedible. If we go back, we will definitely get their meats and not the burger. I will say it was a perfect spot to grab lunch after you visit the museum, since it's right next to the building. We still had fun and see the potential in that place!

Fantastic spot on the river with a beautiful patio that has games and fire tables to enjoy. I went to Motor Bar for the first time for a Yelp event and will definitely be going back. Staff were fantastic and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this for a night out!

Great eats and food choices. Had a wonderful server always insuring we had what we need. Busy lunch crowd. Seems like customers like using outside voices. Lots of seating, TVs, great views for the window seat.

I liked it.. I liked the food and I liked the location and I liked the way the bar/restaurant was set up. Mrs Yelp has the Burt ends and tomato soup. She ate all the Burt's ends and didn't share- if that tells you something. I had the CAJUN CHICKEN SANDWICH- 12.95. That was good and a full portion. The sauce cheese bacon combo was spot on. The fry's which I couldn't finish were also rather tasty. The bloody Mary's were a big hit. I do think the prices were just a tad bit higher because of where/what it is. Still Recommend..

**July 2025: Wednesday Lunch Visit**…read more While I was researching iconic food in Wisconsin I came across an item called Butter Burger which sounded so decadent and delicious. My friend and I were only exploring Milwaukee for a day so we wanted to make sure that we picked a good spot to try this region favorite. AJ Bombers came up consistently ranked on top for really great burgers. We came on a weekday so parking was pretty easy, but it is metered street parking. The restaurant is located at the corner of a large building and since we arrived right at opening we were seated right away. We ordered the following -Cheese Curds $9 - These were delicious. Nice and crispy, almost had an airfried texture to it so it tasted healthier than others that I've tried -Bomb Butter Burger $14 - The meat was very juicy and overall a good burger -Milwaukee Burger $12.50 - This was a fantastic burger and I think I preferred this to the Bomb Butter Burger. The flavors were more balanced IMHO -Tater Tots and Fries: The burgers all came with a side and I enjoyed both! They were freshly fried and served hot. The tots made me feel really nostalgic since those were things I remember eating growing up. The unfortunate news is that this restaurant despite all the accolades will be closing later in 2025. It's served Milwaukee for 16 years and while I'm bummed that they'll be closing their doors later this year I'm glad that I got enjoy one of Milwaukee's best. I haven't been in years, but it was sad to see that they don't give out peanut like they used to and they were not all over the floor. There was a singular waitress there but she was nice and checked in on us. I ordered the Milwaukee Burger. I loved the onions on it and added tomato to it. I thought the burger itself was ok. Not too much flavor, I wish it was a little more pink. It would've been better if the bun was more toasted as well. I ordered onion rings, fried pickles, and cheese curds. Cheese curds and onion rings were really good, but the frickles were huge and every time I would take a bite the pickle would come out of the batter and I would be stuck with the plain batter alone. Overall loved the ambiance and I was miss Aj Bombers and its history.

For meals, I got the chicken Caesar salad wrap, with fries. It was good, creamy, and I had crispy chicken replace the grilled. The fries were good. While other restaurants in the district had hour and a half plus waits, we practically owned the place sitting wherever we liked. On event days they have a reduced menu. I ordered the LP Burger with bacon ($14 + $2.5 - double smash, sharp american cheese, shredded lettuce, fresh tomato, shaved red onion, LP sauce, potato roll) and my wife ordered the Potato Chip Crusted Chicken Sammy ($12 - honey mop glaze, mayo, shredded lettuce and pickles). The bar has a fair amount of good bourbons and at decent prices for being in the deer district, such as the double neat pour of Stagg I had. There was one bartender/server for the place, but she knew how to hustle while still being super friendly. The interior could use some art on the walls, but is bright and clean otherwise. The food was delicious and presented very well. That bacon I paid extra for? Oh my goodness. Thick cut, perfectly cooked, so dang good. Usually I regret adding bacon but here it is a must. My 8-year-old kiddo, who is practically a vegetarian at this point, devoured her grilled cheese and half of the big bowl of soup. I never even saw my wife's chicken sammy, so you know it was good when it goes down that fast. Thankfully as our food arrived the place started to fill, as they deserve to be filled!
