ROOT - SOLO pizza - delicious!
    Christine B.

I was so excited to try this pizza. It's been on my list for a while. I stopped by on New Year's day and was happy they were open. I forgot they don't have a dine-in option but was still happy to take it home to eat. They have outdoor seating but the weather wasn't conducive to sitting outside. But in the summer, oh I get it's lovely! The person making the pizzas was super friendly and they came out pretty quickly. I had the Root solo (mushrooms!). It was delicious. The flavor was amazing, especially the sauce. My only regret was not getting the larger size to have leftovers for the next day. I can't wait to try the other locations.

First time at this location! The beef adobo was tasty, I can see why it's popular. The all-in pizza was also great. I do prefer the solo size because I find the pizzas to be crispier. The location is in a cute spot with some outdoor seating. I recommend ordering ahead of time for pickup.

A small business pizza restaurant serving Detroit style pizza. Dining area only consist of several outdoor tables in the front. Pizzas were ordered and paid via kiosk. I came around 5pm on Labor Day weekend and had to wait 45 minutes my order but it was worth it. Pizzas were sold out an hour after I ordered. Good thing I came early. Detroit style pizza is a pan pizza with a crispy cheese crust. The cheese crust was very light and tasty unlike the Italian bread crust. The restaurant offered a variety of pies with special combinations as well as basic toppings. Pizza pies consisted of 4 square slices; enough for two people. They also offer the smaller sized Lunch pizza. The Detroit Style pizza was something new to me but it made me a fan. Definitely will come again next time I am in town.

Service is amazing but the pizza! Omg! Tried the Plant pizza and for someone who always orders meat and their pizza this blew me away! You just made this Wisconsinite a plant lover.

This is the original Moto location, and it's such a great little spot. You walk up to a charming house where you can order at the window or place your order ahead of time. The setup feels casual and inviting, kind of like stumbling upon a hidden neighborhood gem. I'm personally not a big fan of deep dish pizza (the carb level is intense), but that's essentially what Moto specializes in. Still, the flavors are creative and worth trying. I've had the clams, pepperoni, and classic cheese, all solid choices. Service is quick and easy, and the whole experience has a relaxed, local feel. Definitely a unique Seattle-style pizza stop, especially if you're into something a little different.

The pizza is really yummy, we got the kissd and it was so yummy I would get this again. I loved the spicy sausages and and the sweet honey on top. The dough was my favorite part. Kid of like a Detroit pizza like a focaccia type of bread. The pepperoni was good too with the crispy pepperoni on top. Same dough so it's very yummy They have during the week reverse happy hour starting at 7:00 pm which is a great deal but we just annoy eat so late. Definitely I would come back even at 4 stars I had to take some off for the value of what you get. Taste is 5 stars

Best Pizza ever. This place is amazing. You can't beat the price, quality, and FLAVOR.... My favorite pizza from now on will be the "Mr.Pig"... The sweet zesty lime sauce that's spread on top of the crispy, cheesy, and hot pizza was a 10000000000/10. I'm so so glad that there are 3 locations available. There was no wait time since a farmers market around the block was happening. Felt so good to get the pizza so fast, service is awesome. Outside seating is even cooler. Felt like home!

Very kind and helpful customer service, best pizza I have ever had! such an interesting and delicious shape

Such a fun location with cool pizza flavors! I've never had kimchi and pickled cabbage on pizza before, where have I been?! The flavors they serve here are a good balance of salty, acidic, creamy, and more. I love the thick crust as well. Service was good and explanations on flavors were very thorough!

Such a nice Cozy place place to sit outside and eat pizza . The staff is super nice and friendly , felt very welcomed when it came time to order. I always like to play it safe when it comes to new pizza spots to try out so I went with the pepperoni . Really good. What REALLY surprised me was the Crab Pizza my Man got. He gave me a bite to try and it just didn't go back to him.. honestly had me hooked . Ordered more pizza for the plane ride Home. They make the pizzas as the orders come In so super warm once you start eating into it . Bout a 15-20 minute wait but definitely worth it

Moto Pizza has some seriously crazy and interesting selections! Definitely not your average pizza joint. We tried the Crab & Clam Chowder pizza, and every bite was a unique and special experience. It was unlike anything we've ever had before.

The most epic pizza in town! The lunch menu is excellent and affordable. It's always ready on time! I love the cheese. It's perfect every time! Order online and pickup. Outdoor seating only. So mostly carry out. The boxes are beautiful and it makes me happy any time I have Moto. The crust... perfection! Thanks for being you Moto pizza, keep up the fantastic work.

Their soft serve is not dairy free. They told me when they get to their new location they will be working on DF options. Hope this helps.

I need to make a change to an upcoming order. I sent an email weeks ago through your website but didn't hear back. What's the best way to do that?

Is Moto only doing online ordering? Every time I try to order it says ordering is closed.

Tucked down the alley by the gum wall, it's a great option for wood fired pizzas. The space is fairly small and very low-lit, but thriving with energy. Our service was fantastic, drinks were good, but besides the pizza the food was pretty hit or miss. We had a table of 4 and we kept the table full the entire time. We started off with a salad, spicy mac n cheese, cheese sticks, and Brie and cheese. Salad was light and refreshing. The cheese sticks were pretty normal, but also good. The spicy mac n cheese to me had zero spice. Just some mac in a cast iron pan. The apple and Brie had a nice presentation but the smallest amount of Brie possible(my picture was too blurry to post). The Broccolini I am not sure how it was defined as broccolini because the 5 pieces that came on the plate were huge. While packed with flavors of lemon and Parmesan they had a very tree like feel and were a bit on the harder side. The El Diablo pizza, to be straight forward was by far the best part of the stop. The crust could have been a little more well done, but that's just me splitting hairs. I ate more of that than anyone else. Probably could have finished it myself if I hadn't stopped for a lobster roll beforehand. Either way, great service, good drinks and legit pizzas!

The employee who eventually helped me was nice, but the overall experience still didn't feel welcoming or attentive. Over several visits, the service has just not matched the quality of the food. In this economy, it's truly a blessing for businesses to still have loyal customers coming through the door and wanting to support local spots. At the very least, customers should feel welcomed, appreciated, and taken care of when they walk in. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. Oh well, I guess I will be back! The woman heated up my slice and after a few minutes, it was ready. I took my slice and went to sit outside near Pioneer Square so I could be outside and people watch. Pizza was tasty and solid, but the crust was too dry. I have a feeling the slice wasnt the most fresh, so thats why the crust was a bit dry. But, if you know me, I do jot like soggy pizza (I mean - who does??), so a bit drier isn't too big an issue. The rest of the slice was good. Slice of pizza and a diet coke came to close to $9. Gosh things are so expensive now. They do have a special of 2 slices for $8.99 but I couldnt eat two slices. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential. Hopefully management considers bringing in weekend staff whose personalities reflect the warmth and atmosphere the space deserves, there are plenty of more qualified bartenders in Seattle that would gladly fill their spot.
