A small business pizza restaurant serving Detroit style pizza. Dining area only consist of several outdoor tables in the front. Pizzas were ordered and paid via kiosk. I came around 5pm on Labor Day weekend and had to wait 45 minutes my order but it was worth it. Pizzas were sold out an hour after I ordered. Good thing I came early. Detroit style pizza is a pan pizza with a crispy cheese crust. The cheese crust was very light and tasty unlike the Italian bread crust. The restaurant offered a variety of pies with special combinations as well as basic toppings. Pizza pies consisted of 4 square slices; enough for two people. They also offer the smaller sized Lunch pizza. The Detroit Style pizza was something new to me but it made me a fan. Definitely will come again next time I am in town. read more

KISSD is a go-to, as well as the Mr Pig (us folks from the Tropics appreciate the Calamansi sauce!) and Beef Adobo. Thank goodness we don't have to wait 3 months anymore! It's so nice tonsee such a unique pizza place in West Seattle (which seems to have an insane amount of pizza joints). We ordered the crab pizza - Very delicious! However, despite the delicious pizza, we waited for 90 minutes sitting on Moto's outdoor patio. After 60 minutes of waiting, my fiancé went to check-in with one of the employees at the window. This particular employee said 10-15 more minutes...another 30 minutes later we received our pizza. The employee apologized, then asked if we wanted a drink from the fridge - Wished we were asked this earlier in our wait! Rather than when we received our pizza. Looking back, I wished the employees would've told me the approximate wait time from the time I ordered until when I would receive my order. Hopefully, this doesn't happen to anyone again. Moto Pizza serves up unique and amazing flavors and I'm so glad to see the expansion of locations from Belltown to T-Mobile Park. However, there is still a demand and wait when it comes to placing an order, which you still need to do in advance. I'd recommend following Moto Pizza on Instagram (@xoxomotopizza) to get the latest updates and see when orders for the month go live. My personal favorites are the Crab! and Clam Chowdah pizzas. Once you've had seafood on your pizza, you can never go back. The Crab! has dill, lemon zest, and lemon juice, which gives it a nice hint of flavor, but does not overpower the crab itself. The Clam Chowdah has a thick cheesy sauce consistency that resembles chowder. Though I have yet to try it, I'm excited for shrimp pizza which I've only had in Italy and has changed my life ever since. If pizza wasn't enough, Moto also has soft serve in several flavors and the option to add a 'Moto cone' - a chimney cake covered in various flavors/toppings. read more

I heard so many things about this place, especially the hype where you have to order the pizza months in advance. Fortunately, these days the pizzas are more accessible - you can get one during a Mariners game, or go before/at opening to score their limited number of pizzas available walk-in. I personally pre-ordered in July for September pickup, and got the Crab, Mr. Pig, and Clam Chowdah pizzas. It was fresh out of the oven around the pickup time, about a few minutes late. The crab one has a nice lemon flavor with decent amount of crab, but definitely on the more expensive side. It was the least flavorful of the 3 pizzas we ordered, but it was still fairly flavorful from the crust. The Mr. Pig is probably my favorite and also a fan favorite as it is the #1 most ordered pizza here. There is Lechon kawali (Filipino pork belly), sausage, etc so it is a Filipino inspired combo pizza. I really love the sweet green sauce they tasted like a cilantro chutney (ingredients say it is a calamansi lime sauce) and wished they gave more (or even as a dipping sauce!) The clam chowdah is very garlicky and had decent amount of clam. They have 1 actual clam shell per slice (so 4 total). This is the most flavorful pizza that we got. Overall, the pizzas were solid and the crust had a nice crunch and flavor to it. The pizzas were fairly filling - 1 pizza can comfortably feed 2 people for a satisfying meal. I would probably go back to try the other ones, but I will for sure just walk in and not commit to pizza months in advance - it's just too big of a hassle to figure out what exactly to get at the exact date and time of pickup because plans change and stuff. read more

Had such high expectations for this place after seeing the great reviews and all the talk about the long line. We were not able to get an order in online but stop by and made one in person on the tablet. It took about 1 hour for our pizzas to get done but they were absolutely worth the wait. We had the pig and clam chowder pizzas and they were both amazing. Can't wait to try some of the other flavors next time we're in the area. Such a cute storefront. You must check their website for when you can place your pizza order as it has to be pre ordered. I ordered our pizza in February for a May pick up. I ordered the crab and the pig pizza. They give you one notification for the date and time of your order. Don't lose that or forget to put it on your calendar if you can't remember! Our pizza appointment time came and we ventured out there with much excitement. The pizza place is in a cute tiny house kind of like in the movie Up. You can go up to the window to check to see if your order is ready. There are about 8 tables outside, so in the summer you could eat there. But in the PNW, best to have a plan B. The pizza was really tasty from the crust to the toppings. I wouldn't say they didn't disappoint, but because we had to drive home and want able to eat it right away, it probably wasn't at it's peak. The crust was perfection not too thick and airy and light. Both the crab and pig pizzas were yummy. The 2 pizzas were enough for 4 of us to finish.
