She made sure my buddies food was cooked properly because of a food allergy. She made a few wonderful suggestions to me and made sure I had all the sauces for my kabobs. The food was very good! I ordered the chicken kabobs. The chicken was very tasty but it would have been nice to have more vegetables with the chicken. When I make kabobs I always put peppers, carrots and other veggies so that would have been nice. I did wait 30 minutes for my food. I've had Mosaic multiple times at different events, and I haven't been impressed. I generally enjoy Mediterranean food, but there's something very lackluster about the food here. This time, I really enjoyed the chicken shawarma wraps. They were very rich in flavour. The pita flatbread was so soft and fragrant as well. Sadly, the fries were so brittle and flavourless. I was so excited to try this place and bring my family here! We were all disappointed. The set up was weird with tables behind the host table and along the kitchen counters. The workers serving the food were all on their phones. Putting their fingers on the plates and touching the sides of the food as they served. Sagging their pants with such lively underwear showing. Poor customer service and communication. I.e. asking to take our plates as they were already picking them up and taking them. The manager came out and asked if we needed anything but at that point we had already decided to finish eating since the meat in the two shawarma wraps we ordered were cold. I got a kabob dish which was good in flavor but with the saggy boy's underwear by my face the entire time eating, I was too distracted to enjoy it. Won't be coming again. read more

I've been coming to Mosaic since the very beginning around 3-4 times a month. I'm sad to say that today will be my final day here. The reasons have kind of been piling up over the year, but enough is enough. - I don't understand why the charge for extra sauce is 75 cents to $1. The amount of sauce provided is just never enough - My signature dish here is the fish and chips. Today, they were completely over cooked - very dark on the outside. - The fries were not cooked long enough and I could be wrong, but it seems like the types of fries used here changes all the time - The entire staff (even the guy in the kitchen) are staring at their cell phones. I wanted to take a picture, but didn't want to violate privacy concerns - I miss the weekly specials - it's what drew me here in the beginning. - I've had several of the other dishes, but they just didn't "wow" me. The burger is way too messy, the wraps fall apart after a few bites, and the chicken shawarma requires sauce to have any kind of flavor. I'm sorry to have to stop coming - the owners used to be here all the time, but now it seems like it's just kids running the place. The blacken catfish and craw touffe is pretty good. It's a solid 5. It has tons of crawfish in it. Chicken shawarma bowl is a bit dry. It's not too crowded and the food comes out fast. The restaurant looks clean. Nothing fancy, but it's a good place to grab food if you are in the area. read more

First time trying on recommendation of friends. Local neighborhood Mediterranean-American flavor with a wall of pull your own craft beers, wine & cider. The chicken shawrama rice bowl was actually more than I could eat and wife had fish & chips. Hani, the owner circulated throuh the place and stopped at every table and engaged the customers, something you don't even see at many white table cloth restaurants. His story is fascinating having set up several kitchens at several new Four-Seasons Hotel properties around the world. Itz easy to see he's passionate about food from the heart to fill your belly and your soul. His passions have obviously trickled down to his young staff who were all welcoming and helpful. The wrap was good, a little greasy but good. The fries had a sweet taste to them. Southern Roasted Chicken - Chicken thighs in a creamy sauce (mushrooms, onions, garlic, cheese, ginger, cream, & seasonings and topped with fresh avocados with white rice. The chicken was moist and tender. The sauce was very tasty! The fresh avocado was a nice addition. Mixed Grill Kabobs - Beef Kefta, Mosaic Chicken, and Grilled Shrimp; served on a bed of marinated corn rice with housemade garlic sauce. The shrimp were my favorite of the three meats. The business is owned by husband and wife who both are 100% involved with the business from the back all the way to the front ensuring quality from the kitchen to the customer. The chef is family and cooked personally for the royal families abroad and can really cook anything your heart desires even if it's away from the menu. My favorite dish is not longer served there but I'm sure if it's requested it's possible. They have a plethora of beer and wine selections available for on tap when you walk in; if you wish to partake they issue a drink card and charge by ounce. The selections are from all over the world and my personal favorites are the wines from Spain. All ranging in heavy percentages leaving you satisfied after 1 full glass. Good place to stop for tasty grilled kebabs. Friendly service, you can either order at the counter, or from your table. They bring it out when ready, either way. Drinks on the self serve wall is similar to Treno's here in town, separate tab - you get a device to activate the tap you choose, and if you get too much foam, that's on you! This is the type of place that deserves a big brick and mortar. The food is delicious, flavorful and well made. Mediterranean cuisine from falafel to kabob, you are getting the good when you get here. The service is great. I think the chef came out and greeted us when we couldn't get seating because it was packed and was very helpful - a table opened up quickly. The lamb was on the menu and we have heard that when you see it, you get it! So we did and the roasted and mashed potatoes paired very well with it. I had the mixed kabob with shrimp, chicken and beef and it was excellent - I had the garlic sauce to go with the fries I got on the side. The wife was happy, the kids were happy and add a craft beer or two and you are good to go! Grateful for this place! Wow! Where do I begin. I love Mediterranean food. I grew up in a city where there was somewhere you could get a shawarma on every block. I've also traveled all over Europe and Africa getting the authentic Mediterranean experience. I can't begin to describe how NOTHING I ordered had flavor. I ordered the falafel appetizer, shawarma chicken wrap (replaced the pickles with feta), and that came with seasoned fries and a drink. Total was $25.94. Falafel was very crispy but had zero flavor and didn't look anything like the pictures on their website. Chicken wasn't bad but again zero flavor. The fries were not seasoned what so ever. If you are reading this please keep your love for Mediterranean food and don't come here. I added a star simply because I had a friendly experience with the staff. The environment was nice and packed, smelled good and a lot of people were present. If you're in Belton, look elsewhere for a good meal. There isn't one here. read more

I ordered the mixed grill kabobs with the seasoned rice. The shrimp was great, but the beef and chicken were a bit over-cooked and dry. Husband got the shawarma beef wrap and loved it. Went to the Mosaic Grill with my family, to include 2 smaller children and one teenager and my Wife so of course there were minor adjustments that had to be made to take things off or add them and I believe it was the owner turned to his chefs and told them about the changes to the order coming in and they had it started before we even finished our order! Feta cheese was plenty, more than the rest of than the rest of the salad. Barely any tomatoes, maybe two tiny pieces and some cucumbers. Salad was not the freshest lettuce that I've ever seen. Wow - who would have thought you can get an authentic middle eastern food in the middle of TX? So I went Mosaic based on good reviews and did not have high expectations. When I walked in the place was busy but not mobbed. I was quickly approached by the owner who was so nice and friendly and walked me to a table. We started with the Hummus and Falafel. The Hummus is one of the bell-weathers for middle eastern food. It was delicious and smooth. The Tehina was not overpowering and it was well balanced. The Falafel was also delicious. A right combination of ingredients and was nice and juicy too. Delish. I took the special Kufte Kebab - which was also delicious and well made. the rice on the side was good as well. For dessert we got a unique take on Kunafe which was also delicious. Service was amazing, the owner takes pride in the service and food and made sure we were happy and was still not pushy and unobtrusive. All in all, an amazing find in the temple area - Great food, great service and relaxed atmosphere - I will be back many times in the future! read more
