Our family celebrates so many June birthdays. Pizza is never a bad idea for a birthday pie! I was looking forward to trying a new spot, so we all decided on Oakfire. I heard great things about it which were true! The appetizing menu may cause a few giggles, and all the more makes it fun. OAKFIRE - Menu https://share.google/wzvTNkoYmVYtbnao7 I swooned over the three choices that were ordered. I had no particular preference as I just love pizza - no arguments! What they went with included: one: Street Taco Pizza two: Mrs. G (dedicated to the owner's wife) three: In It to Win it What's pizza without some chuggers?! Their Bishop Crack Berry Cider was so good! That stuff needs to be bottled up and sold nationwide For those who prefer a richer bitterness, there's Old Rasputin Stout and Delirium Nocturnum - great names! This location is close to the courthouse in Downtown Belton. Street parking or a parking lot diagonally across the establishment is convenient. We had three different servers bringing us the orders and drinks - awesome teamwork! This three-story establishment offers limited bar seating downstairs, table seating on the 2nd floor, and rooftop dining on the 3rd. The semi-industrial design pairs wood and metal making it fitting for casual pizza grubbing. Warning: you'll need to climb stairs. Suggestion: wear your stretchy pants or shorts.

Good atmosphere, fast customer service, good food. Watch out for the bees if you eat outdoors. Overall, great experience.

We went here for the first time on Saturday evening. They were moderately busy but did not have to wait to be seated. They had an ample selection of beer/cider. The flight of beer was $10 dollars. Overall I enjoyed their wide array of selections. I can tell they hand make their pizza dough because it was thin, crisp and chewy. The pizza was packing in flavor and it was without a doubt one of the better ones I have had here. The inside was clean and having the oven at the entrance where everyone can see it created a inviting atmosphere.

My favorite "In it to Win it" if you pair this with the "Creek Don't Rise" beer you will be back for sure!

The pizza here is the best. The owner Tony is always welcoming as well as his staff. My wife and I come regularly and our bartender Liz provides excellent wine suggestions and lends an ear and we enjoy her company. I recently hosted my team on my last day at work and none of them had been but they all plan to return with their friends and family. 10 stars every time! Love this place!

Was seated right away which was nice on a Saturday night. A decent selection of beers, and was able to order a beer flight to try several. The Parmesan wings were excellent! The pizza was good. Service was a bit on the slower side. Ambiance was fun and lively and they have a balcony/rooftop with additional seating.

I was VERY IMPRESSED, GREAT Recommendation.!!!

GREAT, WONDERFUL Customer Service from server AYANE..!! (Especially on quite a crowed day as today was being the Christmas Market Day Festival) I had actually never been here before and LOVED how easy it was to order and ended up getting a 16" 'Nothing But Meat' for two people and she was right really, absolutely FANTASTIC Pizza, tasted SOOOO GOOD.!! Will DEFINITELY be back. Beautiful Building and awesome atmosphere inside.!!

My Think Pink drink was good, but overpriced. They don't have prices on the cocktail menu, and this felt more like a $9 drink than the $12 it turned out to be. My husband's beer was very well priced, I thought, at $6.50 for an IPA. My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich. It wasn't tossed in buffalo sauce, just unevenly drizzled on top so the full sandwich wasn't covered. He asked for a side of sauce to finish the job and we were charged $0.50 for it. He was also charged $0.50 for a side of ranch for his fries. In general, I just don't agree with charging for condiments. I had the Alehouse Burger and it was fine. It had a bacon tomato jam so I thought it would be okay without condiments, but it was dry. It needed pickles. None of the burgers on the menu had pickles. Burgers should have pickles. We weren't given a kid's menu when we were sat, so I thought they didn't have one (it's a pub, I get it), and I tried to just order a side of mashed potatoes for my son. Our server was cool with it and was able to ring it in (because she later had to take it off the ticket) but the kitchen told her they don't serve individual sides which is very odd to me. You have a button for it on the POS, you can serve a side on an entree plate, so just put that amount on a side plate. It seems like a very easy way to cater to your customers. The sun really shines through those back windows in the evening. Some pull down shades would be a huge improvement. It's a beautiful view, but not when the sun is setting and blazing into your retinas. Overall, food was mid, prices were a little too high across the board, service, as always, was great.

I may visit Obsidian Brewery time after time after time after time and never find out how their beer is. This is because a) They have an outstanding bar and b) They have an outstanding kitchen. For me, beer is a hardship beverage you drink when there is nothing else better available. When I go to a bar, I can sometimes be looking for mix-mastering. Usually I am looking for outstanding top of the line hard spirits. * * * When I walked into Obsidian, I looked at their bar. It was love at first sight. In front of me were twenty yards of three shelves of the most wonderful bottles I could possibly imagine. Half of them I had never heard of before. * * * I settled on a Buddha's Hand Gin. Buddha and Gin rarely appear in the same sentence Never mind the same label on a bottle. I ordered it straight up. I went immediately to Nirvana. Forget the meditation and the austerities. The Buddha's Hand Gin was as good as a trip to the Himalayas. Buddha's Hand is an obscure citrus fruit that grows multiple protuberances the way some horseradishes do. It is golden and looks like a hand. Ergo the name. The Buddha's Hand Gin is a citrus tinged gin with an edge more like orange zest than like orange juice. The additional botanicals make it strong, attention grabbing, fruity and yet combative. I was absolutely fascinated. Note that Buddha's Hand Gin is only one of the many items they have to explore there. I am totally ready to do more exploring. * * * The kitchen at Obsidian is also of distinction. The savvy local guide I came with adored his Thai Curry Wood Fired Rings. I went with a Cheesy Bread. This is open-faced grilled cheese on a thick slice of bread the size of a shoebox, with a wonderful homemade tomato sauce on about 1/3 of it. It is the best cheese pizza you have ever had. It is what cheese pizza is supposed to be if you don't use the standard canned ingredients that institutional providers sell to Domino's. I was as in love with my cheese bread as I was with my citrus gin. * * * The company was also outstanding. Which is just as well because Obsidian is a social place. Lots of Leanderthals having a fine time in couples and groups. This is not a loner's loser bar. You know - the dark rooms with misfits drinking their sixth beer while watching TV. This is a good folks good times full-of-sunlight place. So you definitely want to come with good folks. * * * Good food, good bottles, good people. And if you are feeling chipper, You can even have a homemade beer to celebrate.
