Legit place ! We came here around noon the day of the superbowl as we read they had drink specials and 1$ wings. We were the only ones there for awhile so I was getting nervous as to why lol ... but the place filled up pretty quick . They had some giveaways on the Super Bowl, who doesn't like free stuff ! Nashville hot wings were HOT and bangin!!! The pulled pork fries were good too !! Our bartender was quick and friendly , the manager came around a few times to check on us and she was cool as well. We were excited to come back to 3West when they finally reopened after the tornado, but unfortunately our first trip back had room for improvement. My Think Pink drink was good, but overpriced. They don't have prices on the cocktail menu, and this felt more like a $9 drink than the $12 it turned out to be. My husband's beer was very well priced, I thought, at $6.50 for an IPA. My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich. It wasn't tossed in buffalo sauce, just unevenly drizzled on top so the full sandwich wasn't covered. He asked for a side of sauce to finish the job and we were charged $0.50 for it. He was also charged $0.50 for a side of ranch for his fries. In general, I just don't agree with charging for condiments. I had the Alehouse Burger and it was fine. It had a bacon tomato jam so I thought it would be okay without condiments, but it was dry. It needed pickles. None of the burgers on the menu had pickles. Burgers should have pickles. We weren't given a kid's menu when we were sat, so I thought they didn't have one (it's a pub, I get it), and I tried to just order a side of mashed potatoes for my son. Our server was cool with it and was able to ring it in (because she later had to take it off the ticket) but the kitchen told her they don't serve individual sides which is very odd to me. You have a button for it on the POS, you can serve a side on an entree plate, so just put that amount on a side plate. It seems like a very easy way to cater to your customers. The sun really shines through those back windows in the evening. Some pull down shades would be a huge improvement. It's a beautiful view, but not when the sun is setting and blazing into your retinas. Overall, food was mid, prices were a little too high across the board, service, as always, was great. read more

We ordered: Shredded BBQ Pork Loaded Fried - these were okay, some bites were super salty. Napa Burger w/ salad - patty was small and fat, and didnt fit the ciabatta bun at all. Very salty, and there was an overwhelming burnt char taste. Was very disappointed for an $18.00 burger. Salad had some pieces that werent just wilted, but decayed brown slimey leafs. They brought my burger out and completely forgot the side salad, had to ask for it. And they charge for ranch for the salad...odd. Pork Sliders - got these to go, Burnt buns and overall flavor has a charred salty taste to it Manager gave us a discount on our food, but it still cost $90.00 (granted, we ordered 4 beers). For the price, we are disappointed. Lots of room for improvement, and I hope to go back and try again sometime, but right now they need to make some changes. read more

The place is nice, but the food is awful. The fish batter on the fish and chips meal was super thin and bland. Not sure what type of fish they used, but it tasted awful. The bacon on the Mac n cheese was too sweet and the cheese was gritty, not creamy. The whipped feta dip was also sweet... barely tasted of feta at all. My husband and I went here for our lunch date. Very nice and clean environment if slow you get to pick where you want to sit. My wife and I were really excited to come back to 3West, especially because they had just hired our favorite trivia host, DJ 5-Oh (Thursday nights @6:30). Smart move on their parts! t definitely means we'll be coming back for more than just the amazing atmosphere and great food. The service here is super! Esther was an awesome server - very attentive and friendly. The bartender, Stacy, made great drinks per usual. Just a real casual and inviting vibe, but with an upscale feel as well. The tables are all set with plates, glasses, and silverware and you are served a bottle of water for the table. Good stuff! The food was delicious. I was craving a burger and the Alehouse did the trick. It's a mouthful of tender beef, bacon, grilled onion, and scrumptious bacon jam. A nice smokey flavor. The fries are homemade and I recommend you get the house made ranch to dip them. My wife got the chicken fried steak, and it was light, fluffy, and chewy. Not your grandmas CFS! The mashed potatoes, however, are very much granny's recipe as they are lumpy alongside creamy. The green beans are seasoned very well, and overall it was a great dish. 3West Alehouse's first trivia night was so much fun! There were seven teams, a great turnout. Miguel (DJ 5-OH) KILLED ITTT. 3West is a fun new addition to West Temple. It is a loud, busy and energetic place. They have above average service and excellent food. We've been through most of the appetizers and a few of the burgers. Everything from the Irish nachos to the wings are worth eating on a regular basis. The best part of the experience is the incredible flavor of the hamburger. The beef itself has a full rich savory flavor. It contributes to overall burger experience that, in a way, no other can compare to. Our first time and we can't help but laugh at it. Way overpriced for the menu and area. The salmon above was $24. That's the entire amount of (way over-salted) food in the photo. My partner got the cob salad which was a lot of food but not cut up? So weird- two full pieces and bacon but no way to cut it up. Full hard-boiled eggs. The hostess was really sweet, she also brought our food. We only saw our waitress to take our orders and bring our bill- no one ever refilled our water (which was all we were drinking because they were out of the beer we wanted). Walked up to bar to see what they had, ordered a bottle and told bartender I'm going to sit outside, making sure I didn't have to leave an ID or CC for the tab. Sat outside, great patio. Enjoyed my beer and music. Waitress is in and out for another table. She saw me early, but never came over. Beer was done, so I pick it up and go back into the bar to get another. Standing at the bar, bartender sees me and just continues standing there talking. Wait a few minutes, bartender finally comes over to check on me. Head back outside, passing waitress in process. Sit outside, waitress still ignoring me. No other waiters on patio, she never again even bothers to look my way. Beer done, back in for another. Same sh-t, stand at the bar while bartender is yapping. Outside waitress sees me, moves on. Finally get another beer, head back out to patio. How does a waitress covering the patio see the only other person out there when she comes out and not think to just stop by and check if I need anything? Place has a nice patio, but not coming back. No sense in paying bar prices and having to constantly walk in to get refills. Bar seems like the place that hires family and let's the boyfriends hang around keeping the staff occupied. I have visited this place a few times over the past year, and all-in-all, favor it. It's a relaxed atmosphere, which I like, and the food has been consistent. I've had the fries and the chicken wings so far. Tasty all around. Place is comfortable and casual. Staff is casual. Some very, VERY casual. Which is fine. But it is nice to have a modicum of professionalism, which at least 3 staff-members manifest well. At my last visit, a worker from the back kitchen came out with his plastic cup, dipped it into the ice bucket, then filled the cup with some liquid. Wonder if he had been drinking from that cup. Kind of a health violation. That's why I NEVER order a drink that needs ice. Bathroom is clean, plenty of TVs and they are willing to change the channel for you if you request. Location is great, and there is plenty of parking. I will definitely continue to visit. Happy hour and wine Wednesdays are worth it as well. Keep standards high. read more

I came here in the fall for the temple Oktoberfest and it was great. Came here again today with some friends after a day at the pool (I was starving) i order the garlic fries and it took over 30 Minutes to come out. We sat at the bar and there were literally three tables in the restaurant (dude wth)They were a little to thick for my preference to so I wasn't able to enjoy them. Burger was dry and fries kind of were as well. Husband ordered the mahi-mahi tacos. He says the Look was unappealing and over-salted, but the rice that comes with it is good. It seems to be back to normal...TVs playing sports, lots of people sitting at the bar, and the menu is more relaxed and not so frou-frou with pub food appearing again. We have been coming here for 4 years, and really used to enjoy it, but ever since they renovated and "revamped" the menu we have seen the food quality slowly decline. Tonight may have been our last time here, unfortunately. We were a party of 4 and all 4 of us had to change our initial orders due to them being out of chicken breast and chicken fried steak. 3 of us opted for the alehouse burger and fries and all of our fries were either really soggy or so over cooked you could break them in half. The burger buns were soggy. Everything was under salted and didn't have much taste. Another person ordered the broccolini and it was mushy and tasted chemically. We are really disheartened as we love supporting locally owned restaurants but the food has really gone down hill. read more

We tried this place for the first time and in hindsight, we should've gone somewhere else.. The cocktails were the only positive experience about coming here. The food was overpriced, inconsistent, either under- or over-salted. My almost $20 burger that I ordered medium-rare was burnt on the outside. Our server checked on us one time not even 2 minutes after we got our food, then disappeared to chit chat with other staff members while we were trying to order another drink. It's very hard to create an atmosphere when you have music playing in the front AND back of house. This was all yesterday and I promise I'm not even exaggerating when I say I woke up early morning before the sun with stomach aches, nausea, and multiple trips to the bathroom. Nothing was greasy which I feel like is hard to find in a restaurant. The fries were the best part of the meal by far, haven't had fries that good in years. Similar to Red Robin garlic fries yet zero grease! The burger was okay, the mushrooms and onions were salty and the burger itself was burned on one side. We began coming back after their relaunch at the beginning of summer and the food, service and drinks were good again. Tonight we went for dinner and the service was absolutely horrible. I had to walk to the bar to get my drinks because the server was too busy, even though there was one other table in the restaurant with 3 waitresses. When the food came out, my chicken fried steak had obviously been sitting in the window a while as the sides were all room temperature. I finally had my food after my entire table was done eating. My wife ordered a drink before the food came but didn't get her drink until she was done eating, again one other table in the restaurant with 3 waitresses. Its just...ok. The beer selection is stellar...I nabbed a Dogfish 90 minute IPA on draft, which is damn near unheard of in the Austin area! Service was great, but it was also pretty slow for a Saturday. It's the food that was just meh. We're from Austin, so paying $16 (and more) for a burger is totally usual for us, but the difference is that it will be fantastic there. We don't mind paying extra...just make it worth the extra. 3West flat out didn't have the culinary chops to make it worth it. Truffle fries were over salted and soggy, the deviled eggs were runny, and the Brussels were soggy and over seasoned. Was excited to try a place that looked trendy and had a unique menu. Arrived to 2 total parking spots for the whole restaurant. They were taken, so we parked around back. Went in the back door, there isn't a host stand so we just kind of stood there and slowly walked up toward the host stand on the other side of the restaurant before just seating ourselves. Wasn't very busy, there was more staff than patrols on a Saturday at dinner. Seemed to have a great alcoholic beverage selection. Menu was detailed but prices were a bit heavy. Cheapest meal item is a burger for $16. My date attempted to order a burger but change her side. She was told that they could do no substitution. She was told she could pay the full price, $6 for the side and it would still come out with the original side which stand alone is $2 less than the side she ordered. A restaurant with a reasonable business model would upcharge for a subbed side. Requesting no substitutions is reasonable in catering and in chef made dishes. Not a burger and fries. If sonic can give you tots or onion rings instead of fries, so can 3 West. If you are worried about food costs when your prices are already one of the highest in town, maybe don't be in the food business, you'll never have to worry about food costs again.. Maybe you'll be able to get some rest. For some reason, this kind of irked my date and I can tell. She didn't want a bunch greasy fries, she wanted vegetables. You start with an empty plate. Charge for burger and side is $16. If Fries are normally $4 and the broccolini is $6 then naturally if you have any reasonable sense for service, you would charge $18.... Maybe I'm crazy. Anyway I was gonna order the fish and chips but I could see the instant buyers remorse on my dates face after ordering at a restaurant.. kind of unsettling. So I told the waitress right after she walked away from taking our order to cash us out for the drinks, that there was an emergency. The emergency of me not gonna spend any $ there. Well, I spent $3 on a soda. Which I got a to go cup for. The atmosphere was decent. The servers were quick and pleasant and seemed to know the menu well. This is a clear ownership/ business model issue that doesn't appeal to the common consumer, just the typical bar nut that likes trivia night. We left and went to Backporch Drafthouse and it was a 5 star experience. Don't 3-Waste your time or 3-Waste your money at 3-West. read more

Wow this place is hands down the worst place I've ever been to. Ordered take out and got burnt/dry food. When I call to complain no one helps instead they tell me the owner is the only one who can help and that she would call me. Never received a call back. The worst customer service and food. The owner should focus more on the restaurants she has versus continuing to open up more restaurants up, Don't go here if you want to be treated with respect.
