08-20-26 BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse Had a late dinner with my grandson around 9:30 PM. We had a wonderful dinner at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse tonight. The food was fresh and delicious from start to finish. The jumbo pretzel and beer cheese were the perfect starter. Our meals were excellent. The Wagyu burger was juicy and flavorful, the All-American Smash Burger came with hot, crispy fries, and the Southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes was cooked just right. The mini pizookie meal deals were the perfect sweet finish. And what really made the night was the service. It was Friendly, attentive, and fast Without ever feeling rushed. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. We will definitely be back. read more

Lovely restaurant and super spacious and best place to watch a game on big tv screens. Fun place with tons of options that you simply can't say that your favorite dish is not there. Ordered a vegetarian burger with jalapeño rings. Superb quality and crispy jalapeño rings added the twist and really awesome and tons of fries that I enjoyed. Ate a strawberry pizookie too as a dessert .. freshly baked hot cookie from oven topped with big scoops of vanilla frosting decrease, strawberry syrup and fresh strawberries.. it's was heavenly!! It's a place to spend time and enjoy the meal slowly so unless in a rush to eat and leave, it's a great place, with good food. Awesome sports bar and great collection there tooo. read more

Let me start by saying I was really looking forward to this meal. I've had BJ's in other locations that I swooned over. Not this time. I ordered a meal to go with Sal's Chicken. Despite being smothered in gravy, the chicken was disappointingly dry and a heavy chew. And how you turn baby asparagus (all the diamaeter of a watercolor paintbrush handle or smaller) into stiff, inedible sticks I will never know. The potatoes were wonderful, though. Overall, I was disappointed and felt I had paid too much for such a mundane meal. read more

Another excellent visit, and made better by our server, Mikayla, who added to a very positive experience. All of our food and service were on point, and it made for another great meet up with our friend. This is our go to spot for a meal out (with craft beer), because of the quality of the food and beer, and the friendly service. We always go early, because it starts getting full as the evening progresses. read more

Service was excellent! Restaurant was clean, open and has a welcoming feel. The chips, salsa and guacamole were very tasty as was the hamburger sliders. My chicken parmigiana was just ok as was my husband's jambalaya. read more

Great location. It wasn't super busy when we stopped in and there was plenty of parking available. We were seated immediately and our waitress was attentive and friendly. Brought our food and drinks in no time. The beer selection at BJ's is unmatched at most places and my husband loved being able to try different things on the menu. I introduced him to pizookies and his life has forever been changed lol. read more

We got real food and not just pizookies this time when we went to BJ's. The food was very solid American food. I really liked the avocado egg rolls as an appetizer. I had the shrimp scampi, which was good. I liked it, but I'm used to the shrimp shell being removed in pasta, which was not the case here. My friend and I shared the triple chocolate pizookie, and it had a very rich taste. Bumping up my previous review by one star since I got the real dining experience this time. We had a good time here with a large group of about 10 people, and we had no trouble getting a reservation. read more

Hostess was kind and amazing, however it was all down hill after that. The plates were dirty, my husband's beer glass had a lipstick stain. They gave me the wrong salad dressing (not a big deal) and then after we ordered our food they ran out of our choices. Food was okay, it took 30 minutes for a pazookie to go. They added a charge onto our receipt that I had to ask for them to take off. Our napkins had stains, overall not clean. We go out once maybe twice a year and this was such an awful experience. Our first and last time at this BJs location. read more

We usually eat here quite often. One of my favorite dishes is the Strawberry Fields Salad. Usually pretty spot on. Today (Friday Night) I ordered it, and not up to par. Unfortunately, they must have been short on the baby field greens and substituted iceberg lettuce/romaine? That probably wouldn't have been so bad if the lettuce they substituted was not old and brown on the edges. It's disappointing. Server was new and inexperienced. So, I get it. Everyone has to start somewhere. But where do they disappear to? The booth we sat at had someone's used straw on the bench. Nice touch. The bathroom has a mold/mildew problem. It needs to be remediated. Everyone says it's Temple what do you expect. I expect consistency across all BJ's I've ignored a lot of what is wrong with this one, I just figured someone should know. Maybe it'll get better? read more

Great atmosphere. Food and service was awsome. definitely the best restaurant in town.

The food was amazing, but the service was extremely slow. We had to ask the waiters if our food was actually coming to our table.

This shrimp scampi was absolutely disgusting and honestly felt like a health hazard. The presentation alone was enough to turn my stomach -- the shrimp looked straight up uncooked, pale, slimy, and completely unseasoned. It tasted like it was scooped directly out of the ocean and thrown on a plate with zero effort. No seasoning, no flavor, nothing. The entire dish was bland beyond belief. The alfredo sauce was just as bad -- watery, tasteless, and the only thing you could even taste were the tomatoes, which completely overpowered everything else. I substituted the sauce for alfredo sauce and asked for fettuccine instead of spaghetti, yet somehow I still ended up with spaghetti noodles anyway. Clearly no one paid attention to the order. By the time I was done forcing a few bites, I was genuinely worried I might get food poisoning. This dish felt unsafe, careless, and poorly prepared from start to finish. One of the worst meals I've had in a long time. Absolutely do not recommend. read more

The experience I had here was awesome! Great service and the food was excellent! The atmosphere was really nice too

TLDR: my takeout/delivery order of spaghetti had a lovely cricket buried under the pasta. The "fresh fruit" in the kid's meal is very clearly canned fruit. I cannot even begin to express how completely disappointed and disgusted I am. I placed a delivery order on Monday night for an order of the spaghetti and meatballs and a kids spaghetti with a side of fresh fruit. Initially everything looked fine but the drink was missing, no big deal I assumed the delivery person forgot, easy mistake. Unfortunately as I was eating my spaghetti, which I assume was a mixture of fresh and old pasta based on the dried texture of some of the noodles, I found a cricket. A literal cricked buried in the pasta. A little less concerning , the kids side of fresh fruit is very clearly canned fruit. Nothing "fresh" about it and whomever packed it couldn't even be bothered to make sure it didn't have green onion mixed in. read more

Have not been here in like ten years, but remembered I liked it! It was better than ever. Clean, good service, food was great. Pizzookie* was great. Clam chowder. Tenders. Steak. All great. Great service! Hunter is a fantastic bartender. You can't go wrong with the burgers here.

Our server in the bar area was great. Food was good however the flat bread had barely any toppings. I had an espresso martini and it wasn't that great. I took my mom to BJ's restaurant and brewhouse after enjoying a bit of shopping in Temple, Texas. The menu was pretty big and there were nice selections on it as well, but we decided to share a few appetizers. The ambience was nice comfortable, but a bit too dim lighted which made it hard to see the menu. Quite a big restaurant with different sections to sit at including a bar with plenty of TVs and seating was comfortable. I would definitely love to come hang out with friends in a big round booth watching games or what on the TV, and having a few pizza,, wings, and sliders. The food is delicious and the service was very friendly. Mom love the flat crusty veggie pizza and sliders which she ate two of the four. My mom even tried a sip of each of the four very tasty margaritas on my flight. My mom is 85 and doesn't really drink, but she did enjoy the taste of the jalapeño margarita because she likes it hot and spicy. The tuna poke bowl was also a big hit with my mom and I have to say it was very fresh and very light and delicious. All in all we enjoyed our experience at BJ's restaurant and I will definitely be going back when I go back home to visit my family, I plan on taking my brothers as well. read more

We ate there for the first time and it was not as good as people said it was. The brisket hamburger was not as good as it is priced. We told our waitress about it and showed her the minimal "shredded brisket" that was on the hamburger. She did get some more and brought it to us but that should not had to happen in the first place. The hamburger wasn't cooked as requested. Our coleslaw was spoiled and really really bad, it really was rancid. I don't know how the manger or even food manager allowed that to get by. If I were the food inspector I would have a field day in that kitchen and the staff. This was our first time and more than likely our last time at THIS location. I won't hold other BJ's restaurant accountable for this locations lack of quality, but it does reflect my choice of going to them. Our waitress was nice and professional.. I forgot her name... which is why I'll give a 3 star rating. Anyway, that was our experience, whomever reads this eat here at your discretion and try for yourself. read more

Decided on this restaurant for an afternoon out with a guy I'm dating. Since it was during the day, it was not busy so we were seated right away. I ended up only getting one drink and my food was ok. The guy I was with did not like his food. He had one of the pasta entrees. I would give them a second chance because I think it's only fair. Only to try the food. The drinks aren't getting any stronger. read more

Went here for a celebration with a party of 10. Service was slow, once we ordered there was a long wait. Once our food began coming out, they brought one plate at a time and the orders were wrong, Getting a manager was impossible. Upon going to the register to. again, ask for a manager...he walked out from the kitchen and quickly ducked back in. Everything, from arrival to departure was horrible. From wait time, and seeing people arrive after us and get seated before us, to ordering, to dessert, cleanliness, EVERYTHING was messed up. Ruined our family's celebration...won't ever go back. This restaurant needs to dry up and blow away, It is a worthless, useless piece of junk of a building. And the management blows... read more

We stopped by for an early Sunday dinner after doing some shopping, and there was no wait for a table... except it wasn't cleaned off. The hostess excused herself and left us standing by the table, then she hurriedly cleared the last of the napkins and glasses. She put our menus down, then seemed put off when I asked her to wipe the crumb covered booth seats off. Our server Cory was attentive but didn't hover. Despite the rock start with our hostess, he was quick to bring our drinks and take our order. The disappointment returned after he brought our food. He didn't come to refill drinks or check on us. When he came to offer the check, we ordered dessert. He cleared half the plates but then didn't return to clear the others until he was dropping off dessert. Not to mention an annoying fly kept circling the dining room where we were... sorry BJ's this dinner did not win you any confidence from me. Next time I'll order to go or try another restaurant. read more

First time visiting this location. Upon entering the establishment the girl at the greeter desk wasn't inviting as if she didn't want to be at work Saturday 7/30/22 3pm. Every was absolutely UNSEASONED, other than the fries everything came unseasoned. The Grilled Chicken Alfredo tasted STRAIGHT OUT OF A CAN, with lack of flavor, love and dignity. I ordered to go so i didn't get a ambiance of the dine in choice but what i can tell you is that If BJs cares anything about their reputation they would take the Alfredo off the menu immediately OR reconstruct the dish altogether. Ordered through DoorDash so u didn't get the experience with the service as well . The Deep Dish Ziti tasted like CHEAP pasta with pizza toppings poured over it 4/10. The Mac and Fried Couscous Mac & Cheese Balls were the BIGGEST disappointment being absolutely bland and terrible, allin all my experience with BJs was a 2/10 ! read more

My wife ordered her chicken sandwich with Bacon, Cheese and Onion. She wanted a side of honey mustard and onion rings. The server forgot to add the Bacon, Cheese or Onions. When we told her, she took the plate back and brought it back with cheese and onions, forgot the bacon and left the honey mustard behind. We asked for the honey mustard and by the time we got it back, the onion rings and the burger was cold. The chicken sandwich was dry and the server never brought on our Arnold Palmer even after we asked three times. We had also ordered a side of breaded shrimp, it was disgusting. We asked for the chicken wings to be well done, but wasn't. Very disappointed. She finally brought the Arnold Palmer as I finished writing this and ready to leave. First time here, but will never return... So yeah the server came back and offered commentary dessert for the poor experience. That was highly appreciated, the recognition and her attempt to make amends. Changing my star rating from 1 to 2. read more

Food was great and waiter was amazing. It's the greeters that were bad Make sure what table you would like to have and not the last minute. This was our first time at this BJ's location. We came for lunch and sat at the bar. Our bartender, Hunter, was pretty busy. However, she greeted us right away with menus. It was astonishing to us that she was able to take three different orders without writing them down, get waters and silverware at the same time and everything was perfect. Our food was good. (A little on the expensive side. But what do you expect these days) In the end her service was impeccable, her smile was beautiful, and her demeanor, friendly and inviting.
